Hi I am 33 years young and live in Copthorne near Crawley, West Sussex and looking to chat to other mums/mums to be in the Surrey/Sussex area and maybe arrange a meet up sometime. I used to be on the Redhill or nearish thread but that seemed to die a sudden death so thought I would start a new one.

I have a daughter of 17 months and am expecting another girl in October.

Hi,

Nice to get some responses - sorry for the dealay in replying - hence my nickname. I find I am either so busy, I have no time at all for a few days or at a loose end. There is no middle ground!

Brambles - My Boy, James is 17 months and does like to be entertained the whole time and loves other children. Where do you go for entertainment, especially at this time of year?

Startingtobehalloweenlover - I have been to springboard when James was tiny but not since. Do you have to be a member to go?

Speak soon.

startingtobehalloweenylover · 22/10/2005 20:39

hiya, no you don't have to be a member, but if you go a lot it is worth getting it

it's £4 to get in, but only £60 for a years membership!

i have been a few times with lockets from here and we have loads of fun! my ds is 8 months and she has a 2 year old and a 6 month old

anyway, i will let you know when we're next going and you're welcome to come and join us!

funnytype · 23/10/2005 10:14

Wheres Springboard? Is that is Horsham? Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.

Hi,

Startingtobehalloweenlover - Great, I'd love to meet up when you next go with lockets. I work but have Wednesdays and Fridays off if that is any good?

Funnytype - Yes, springboard is in Horsham. Any good places to go in Crawley? I'm having a very good weekend, thanks. Went out on Friday night with a friend for the first time in ages and we had great fun. It definately does you good to have time off now and again. I feel really refreshed and ready for another week.

I am quite happy with somewhere in Crawley, any suggestions? Steph xx

OP posts:
jamesbusymum · 05/11/2005 14:00

Hi,

18th is good for me and crawley sounds fine. Someone told me there was a good softplay place near Debenhams. That's the only suggestion I have, unless the weather's fine enough to meet up in a park?

Who is local to Crawley in this group? Got any good ideas?

Sally

fatbetty · 07/11/2005 13:41

I'm in Reigate but Crawley sounds good. Sorry I can't be any help for some ideas of where to meet. But you guys are giving me great ideas of where to go when the weather is bad!!

bumblelady · 07/11/2005 19:17

i go to a few toddler groups.
i go to one on a tuesday which is really quiet, can anyone make it there, its in langley green in crawley and its ten till eleven thirty.
or there is brewsters in tilgate which has a ball pit and has toddler session in the week,
let me know whats best for who and what days, my daugter does monday and wens afternoons at playschool.
