Scottish Christmas meet-up

There has always been a good night in Edinburgh at Christmas but so far, there doesn't seem to be the impetus for one.

Nailpolish started a thread here but it has limped on without getting to a critical mass.

I thought I'd start a new thread with Christmas in the title to see if that would generate a bit more interest! As someone said on the other thread, we are getting a bit close to Christmas, so we should get a move on if we are going to organise something!

It's OK by me - although I don 't like eggnog, could they would throw in a mojito if I asked nicely!

prettybird · 03/12/2009 16:02

I'm also OK with that - although I too am not keen on eggnog (or is more the idea of it that I am not keen on? )

I'm fine with that as well. Puerto Rican rum eggnog sounds a bit more exotic and enticing than what I had round my granny's at Christmas in the eighties.

I would be delighted if it was egg on toast. There is something lovely about having food made for you and not having to do the dishes afterwards.

Right I thought I had posted a response there but it appears to have disappeared into the ether..

Anyway all looks good to me. I'll see you nearer 4 than 3 I think. PB I'll have your mobile in case of disaster.

Liath I am disappointed that you can't make it. Hope you have a nice Christmas.
