Scottish Christmas meet-up

There has always been a good night in Edinburgh at Christmas but so far, there doesn't seem to be the impetus for one.

Nailpolish started a thread here but it has limped on without getting to a critical mass.

I thought I'd start a new thread with Christmas in the title to see if that would generate a bit more interest! As someone said on the other thread, we are getting a bit close to Christmas, so we should get a move on if we are going to organise something!

I even bought clothes to come!!!!!

I suggested a January meet-up, but if you knew how bad my organisational skills were, you'd all be tripping over yourselves to volunteer to do it.

I'm marking my spot here to find out how you all got on tonight.

And so looking forward to my day watching small girls dance and making polite conversation with lots of random punters!

I'm just back from Fintry where I spent time in the nice warm bar watched ds playing rugby in the cold

Felt OK this morning much to my suprise. I was doing fine until we started on the Proseeco. I blame Gomez A bit that we drank all their stock!

Sorry I couldn't make it. DH felt ill and was manfully battling on (extra special sick voice and all) and just as I was about to leave I felt I had to question if he was fit to look after DS. Bit cross to tell the truth that he didn't raise it earlier but we've made up now

Returned to a dh who looked like a mixy rabbit. He has man flu. Oh joy.
