Scottish Christmas meet-up

There has always been a good night in Edinburgh at Christmas but so far, there doesn't seem to be the impetus for one.

Nailpolish started a thread here but it has limped on without getting to a critical mass.

I thought I'd start a new thread with Christmas in the title to see if that would generate a bit more interest! As someone said on the other thread, we are getting a bit close to Christmas, so we should get a move on if we are going to organise something!

Not sure about the 13th, will need to check dh's rota.

I'd be on for it, I'll not confuse dates any more, if I can make whichever one you all decide on then I'll come .

(BTW - thread hijack - where would the Edinburgh folk recommend for lunch near Murrayfiled, for dh, ds - 9 - and me, tomorrow?)

Can we decide soon as I want to know when I can go out and drink too many cocktails dh has to make a decision about shifts at work

I'm fine with the 5th if we arrange to meet at c.3pm.

TBE - you're not the only one to have done that - I'm a Weegie and organised a couple fo the very first Mumsnet meet-ups in Edinburgh (we met at Agenda).
