My mum just arrived and let herself in. Apparenty DS rang her whilst I was in the shower and didn;t hang up so she couldn't call back to check I was OK. She arrived thinking I had fallen down the stairs and instructed DS to call (he's not actually smart enough yet to understand numbers!)

Better than the police I guess.

LOL steppie! I really hated those swimsuits in 80s, who invented the high leg fashion fgs!!!

SJ, Music bugs sounds fab! My DS loves music and he's a good dancer, too.

Hey all. Sorry the whole move thing is stressing you out Paddle, I can really sympathise as we were there this time last year. Am getting stressed out about christmas. I have a huge list of things I wanted to get done before then (redecoration, shelving in garaage, utility room etc) and have realised I don't stand a chance of getting it all done. This morning the radio/cd player in the car broke, the washing machine isleaking (and by the looks of the mould growing in the back of the cupbord has been for quite a while), and the shower in our ensuite has started leaking through the hall ceiling below again. So a few more bills to add.

Oh no Cov, I suppose you can decide what desperately needs doing now and the rest can wait til after Christmas

Ha ha Sushi , I forgot I used to have a high leg swimsuit in flourescent pink, wouldn't dream of wearing that now!

Our DS's could have a dance off, Ds loves music too and tends to bob up an down (looks like he's doing squats!)

btw my most shame inducing swimsuit was acid green and sort of sparkly

COV your is a new build isn't it? we had huge problems during the snagging period which got extended due to the volume of work to be re done, utter nightmare - hope you are now recovered

DS just waves his arms around wildly with the occasional squat. More energy than finesse.

Would it console you Cov if I said my toilet has been leaking into the utility room for some time it seems (judgeing from teh smell when I took the bath panel off....)

paddle - post has just arrived . dd loves the pic of her and her "twin." she was rushing around with it, then ordered 'my door." lovely pic was duly taped to her door where her fave pics and paintings are

kew - 'long day' went absolutely fine (well that's was CM says anyway!) yes, what a lovely day for richmond park yesterday.

oohhh, dancing. we all love a good bop in the steppie household.
think enthusiasm rather than talent..
ds1 starts a dance club after school tomorrow - "street dance" I believe the youngsters call it. he loves dancing and it's a great way of getting exercise as he thinks he's "just" having fun.

but, of course, forgot their swimming lessons start tomorrow evening too. ho-bloody-hum

to be fair dd has spent a huge part of the day parked on my lap and laptop is right next to me, at least I hope she sleeps early today

Ds in bed now, I'm having a girly night -painting nails, mag to read, Heroes to watch & choc to eat as DH gone to Man U match (where was my ticket ?)

Steppie - here is the link I went to St Margarets for trial session, DS loved it and the woman had some really good props - the difficulty was trying to get DS to put them back after each song

Hi swimming lesson went really well. There was two tutors and two students so we had 121 tuition

dd slept ok but I stayed awake for a while because local ASBO boy decided it would be a good idea to start a fight at 12.30 am cue 2 police cars and an ambulance and quite some time before I manage to get some sleep.

dh and dd snored through the entire episode.

must motivate self to go out with dd somewhere today
