stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 18:06

..oh paddle, i was just about to do a link...
yeah, right
have you bought a trollopy bra then?

Paddlechick666 · 05/10/2007 18:07

no, i've bought a very classy and sexy black number with a bit of satin trim. hopefull it won't show at all but if it does it should be quite discrete.

haven't tried the ensemble yet!

stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 18:08

you stunna!
are you going to the curly plaiting thing with your hair?

Paddlechick666 · 05/10/2007 18:11

no, i'll probably get the straightners on it and go for sleek and sheek chic!

sometimes the curly plait thing ends up leaving a ridge across the back of my head.

didn't realise this till recently caught sight of back of head in a double mirror thing in a shop changing room

stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 18:17
Grin
TheSFXshape · 05/10/2007 18:21

stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 18:23

Paddlechick666 · 05/10/2007 18:28

anyone fancy coming up to the city with me around 6pm on weds eve then?

am a tad nervous about travelling done up to the nines on my todd!

Paddlechick666 · 05/10/2007 18:29

not to mention time, am working mon/weds and have dd on tues......

TheSFXshape · 05/10/2007 18:30

paddle hold head high you know you will look wonderful, it's uncommon seeing being dressed for the opera/ theatre on the tube.

steppie - I read an interview with her DP who said that's how they do it -gossip gossip-

TheSFXshape · 05/10/2007 18:31

it is not uncommon

TheSFXshape · 05/10/2007 18:32

oh I give up correcting that mess off to feed family

Kewcumber · 05/10/2007 19:44

foxie

I completely forgot I had agreed to come round for coffee until I was in the car on my way home - in fact I stopped at my sister on teh way back from the pool so wasn;t on my home until 5.30pm

Hopefully you'll be at Kew tomorrow but if you're not I could come round for a coffee at yours about 5 ish?

MrsRecycle · 05/10/2007 20:07

sfx - how for the bus. I hate using public transport as it's so anti prams/babies. I usually end up walking. You're going to rack your brains about the person you spoke to..and then when you're not thinking it'll come to you

foxie do try and make it tomorrow - dd2 is looking forward to hooking up with your dd again. If you don't make it I'll drop the walker round - I'll ring you.

foxensteinscreature · 05/10/2007 20:13

Thanks Mrs R

Steppy - trashy = not classy, like "Junior" and "Prima" of course

I think one was called "Best" and the other called "Look"

Paddle I bet you look gorgeous

foxensteinscreature · 05/10/2007 20:15

MrsR - I hate public transport as well - so unfreindly to people with buggies or wheelchairs

I would like to get your DS and my DS2 together, to compare them!!

Kewcumber · 05/10/2007 20:18

Oh no foxie isnt speaking to me after I stood her up

stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 20:21

never mind that, kew...she's just called a mag i used to work for "trashy".....best was/is known as the glossy weekly, i'll have you know, laydeeeeeeee

Kewcumber · 05/10/2007 20:22

can we sit in a corner and whimper together Steppie?

stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 20:24

yes, kew, i think that's in order.can we add a bit of twitching (not bird-watching), too?

stepfordwife · 05/10/2007 20:32

groan..dh putting ds1 and ds2 to bed as i'm so busy working/shirking (in the loft)
ds1 comes upstairs to say goodnight.
cue yelling down to dh:"daaaaaaad, mum's on that mumsnet thing again..."
thanks

TheSFXshape · 05/10/2007 20:35

actually I don't mind public transport but some users and drivers are complete selfish bastards but you do get lovely people too.
it's not like drivers are always model citizens.

on trashy mags leafing through Hello at hairdressers is always fun some fantastically inbred people!

about Fat Boys hey Paddle do they do lunch time early dinner child friendly?
we were talking about having some Thai food this weekend

we might pop to kew tomorrow again but it's with dh or maybe just dh and dd
