As I'm guessing Des is probably back from holiday now, anyone want to start arranging a new meet up (for old and new).

Ashton Court was suggested.

Do I have any offers

I'm up for it - as always! Its NikkiBFG btw - have name changed!

How are you?

TheArmadillo · 11/07/2007 21:42

Hello - like the name change.

I'm fine - ds is poorly and has been attached all day and driving me up the wall but apart from that fine.

How is your gorgeous ds?

PussinJimmyChoos · 11/07/2007 21:46

Had a few days of hell due to him having a cold, two molars and raging temp but today..finally...appetite was back on form and he was cheerful...thank God as I too, was climbing the walls and it was sunny today so could take him in garden! So nice when you don't feel trapped indoors isn't it? Dreading winter though! What do you do in winter???!!

PussinJimmyChoos · 11/07/2007 21:46

PS Hope your DS is ok? Does he have a cold or?

TheArmadillo · 11/07/2007 21:50

What do I do in winter? Put him in a thicker coat

Ds is a demon if he doesn't spend at least a couple of hours running around outside every day. He hates being indoors all the time. Rain, snow, hail, whatever, we have to go out

It would be brilliant if we could have a nice garden for him to play in. Spend a lot of time at Hengrove play park atm. HAve you been there? It is a fantastic place (sand and water play, keepers keeping it clean and making sure no one gets out of hand). I could go on about it for ages.

OF course you're quite far away.

Glad to hear he's feeling better today.

just a heavy cold and tiredness. So we are both in a wonderful mood with the small amount of sleep we have had (he wakes up coughing all night).

Medised......

TheArmadillo · 11/07/2007 21:54

I have been tempted

I actually gave him some calpol late afternoon as he felt so awful and just wouldn't stop crying. It worked. Gave him a new lease of life I was hoping for a rest.

Am trying to remember where Hengrove is...keep getting it confused with Henbury....help?!

TheArmadillo · 11/07/2007 21:57

Do you know where Big W (now just a big Woolies) is? Its very near there.

SOuth Bristol. In the Imperial Park (where Cineworld is). Can get there off the Wells Road.

Ahh...may have to pay a visit there...

Like my Harry Potter themed name?! Can't wait for the new book!!

TheArmadillo · 11/07/2007 22:06

I ordered mine on Monday

Am definately not going to the midnight opening though - am far to lazy for that.

I think HEngrove would make a brilliant place for a meet up. The only problem is it can be difficult to get to. I could go on about it forever

Sixer · 11/07/2007 22:06

i'm game, but don't fancy the idea of arranging. Ashton Court sounds great.

CrookshanksinJimmyChoos · 11/07/2007 22:07

I changed again! A more cat themed name as suggested by Califrau...am loving this one! I'm going to go to Tescos first thing...don't think they will run out do you??

TheArmadillo · 11/07/2007 22:09

Hello Sixer

If its the big Tesco they'll have loads. Might be busy though.

Sixer · 13/07/2007 14:20

Ashton Court then?

DixiePixie · 13/07/2007 20:42

Hiya folks

I've just found this thread - I kept going back to the last one wondering why noone was posting . I'm still up for a meet up - hopefully the weather will be better if we do the Ashton Court thing! Which bit of Ashton Court were people thinking of meeting in (Not been there in AGES, but I seem to remember it being pretty big and approachable from lots of directions...)

Gosh, is it REALLY essential to order the next Harry Potter? I've never had problems getting the others on the day they came out - I was going to wait to see who had the best price - cheapskate that I am! Would be fed up not to get my hands on it straight away though.

Hope William is on the mend Armadillo

Hi Crookshanks - I've seen you about on other threads but hadn't realised it was Nikki in those Jimmy Choos!

Hi also Sixer and Thomas who I haven't met yet!

TheArmadillo · 13/07/2007 20:45

hello.

SO which bit of ashton court and when?

Thanks William is quite a bit better, but still alternately wingy and full of beans (or both at the same time)

Is lovely when he wants to be
