Nanou1 · 03/04/2007 14:14

oh sorry ! it could be me. not read all the threads... just saw the one from quokka dismissing food altogether!!!! right i'll just shut up and follow the crowd! you tell me where and when

suejonez · 03/04/2007 14:16

happy for thsoe who want to get out to arrange alternative night or perhaps arrange a late April night out. I was (selfishly ) thinking of myself and my poorly bank balance after buying my lovely car (which nobody went to inspect at Eleusis's [angry})

suejonez · 03/04/2007 14:18

I won't do drinks after mile for Maude in teh evening but happy to have lunch after with DC's - perhaps picnic in Richmond park if weather is good?

Eleusis · 03/04/2007 14:31

Eleusis went to inspect it... remember?!?!?!

Eleusis · 03/04/2007 14:31

Oh and I'm still up for a drinks evening on the 12th. Perhaps we should get busy planning that... maybe I can dig up the old thread.

suejonez · 03/04/2007 14:44

did I show you the boot Eleusis - you can get a whole pushchair in it [swoon emoticon]

Nanou1 · 03/04/2007 14:55

re cat put an ad in gumtree. i could ask at creche? name age etc; just email me and i'll pass on.

Nanou1 · 03/04/2007 15:01

sue... i did stroke it it's just so ... sexy!
and i did admire the boot... very nice backsite ( spelling??!!)
no kidding it's a great car - well done!

if you are happy to host i am happy to bring something along; we had a lovely evening last time we did that. and .... we are all pretty much broke aren't we? happy to go with the flow.

Paddlechick666 · 03/04/2007 15:44

bluddy knew i shouldn't have put her trousers back on!

Eleusis · 03/04/2007 15:51

Yippee... my boss just came round and game me a raise. A small one, but a raise nonetheless. Every little bit helps.

Nanou1 · 03/04/2007 15:54

new round on ele then is it??!!!! congratulations. about time eh?!

Eleusis · 03/04/2007 16:00

No, but I can probably get my car fixed now... ain't that exciting.

suejonez · 03/04/2007 16:07

ooh congrats Ele

Paddle - trouser accident?

nopudstilleaster · 03/04/2007 17:00

This thread moved fast today! Has nobody got anything better to do

So is the April night out at Sue's or May's? Or are we going out somewhere in May for Quokka?

nopudstilleaster · 03/04/2007 17:03

Paddle, dd still not getting any better? Poor little mite.

Eleusis · 03/04/2007 17:12

Just cause you can't keep up doesn't mean we have nothing to do.

Paddlechick666 · 03/04/2007 17:26

congrats Ele, good news!

sue, leakage, I won't say anymore.

pud, she's deff brighter, trying to play with some toys etc. but she just woke from another nap and was crying/screaming.

seemed hungry so i fed her 2 little squares of dry toast morsel by morsel. she's had some more calpol now too so hopefully she'll chill out again and keep the toast down.

i'm exhausted!

got mum coming first thing tomorrow as i really need to work and don't think she's well enough to go to CM.

xoxo · 03/04/2007 18:17

hello all
had a quick scan, and there's talk of a night out in May (or a fajita night in?)

What happened to a night out/ in before then? All off? Is everyone so broke? Ele has just ahd MASSIVE pay rise so can treat us all to lots of things (didn't you have a pay rise before, I seem to recall?)

DD (2.5) is now fully toilet trained. Am v proud mummy. She's been playing me afor a fool for quite a while; been using the toilet since she was 18 mths, and just when I ahve the confidenece to throw out teh nappie I find a little present behind teh sofa. (makes me think -no thansk Quokka, we don't want yr cat!).

May have better news on teh schools front but am holding breath until letter comes out..... can those of you who pray pls do so

n?

xoxo · 03/04/2007 18:18

whoops

suejonez · 03/04/2007 19:57

I am suggesting May at mine for Quokkas leaving meal but waiting for her to suggest some dates (given that she will be guest of honour) Friday or Sat. I am bowing out of APril evening meet up so up to whomever wants to suggest something.

suejonez · 03/04/2007 19:58

will a prayer to the heathern gods of vice and debauchery help you? Think I could manage that - used to be on first name terms with them.

bunyanvillas · 03/04/2007 20:24

Hello, how is everyone? Have been away in Norn Iron so completely out of date with this board! Paddle, is your dd not well? Sympathy. Same at this end. Let me know if I can help, am not too far away so if you need a hand, shout. Foxie, how are you and how is the feeding going? Are things any better? When is the night out and where? I really would love to get to this one!

suejonez · 03/04/2007 20:29

how was Norn Iron?

bunyanvillas · 03/04/2007 20:31

I know you won't believe me - but it was sunny! And even slightly warm And full of nice people saying "bout ye" and "that's a quare 'oul day"

MrsRecycle · 03/04/2007 22:00

Quokka - I want Stitch!!! And dd2 has been telling everyone our secret that we're getting a cat and she wants it by Easter!! Think I've persuaded dh that we can have Stitch. Just have to work out logistics of the weekends/weeks at the caravan. I told dh that it was a lovely cat that had never had an accident at yours. He did ask what would happen when you came back though. Let's chat offline about it.

I might be able to make Thursday but this depends on us going to my Grans. Her boyfriend isn't very well so I'm not sure if he's up to visitors so if not, I should be able to do a meet up.

Foxie - I have a bad back as well!!
