No still haven't moved! we were supposed to be in for Hannah arriving but now I think it'll be nearer september
Yes Toms loving his little sister, infact a little too much at times!!
Somewhere child proof is fine by me, a Mon,Wed or Friday morning would be best as Tom is in nursery which means I might actually be able to sit down long enough to have a chat! and somewhere near the metrocentre would be fab if that works!

Hello, I'm new to mumsnet, but so far have found it really helpful with a few grandparent issues me & hubby have been having. I have a 4 month old daughter & am relatively new to the Morpeth area, living in Durham before that. I didn't go to any of the classes, so don't really know any mums, this has put me off starting any classes now as everyone seems to know each other - urgh, how pathetic eh? Anyway it would be lovely to chat online or even meet up with some other mums in the area.

Hi, I'm moving to newcastle at some point in the next six months, and would love to have some friends to meet up with when I get there. Till we move I have inlaws in Washington, so can get to meetups if given enough notice. Someone else will have to choose the place though as I don't know the area!

I have a two year old dd, who is lovely, but I'm a bit worried that her and my dp and his family will be my only company when I move!

I'm next up 23rd- 26th of March, should we have a little meetup then?

Hi all,

From seeing you're all based in Newcastle, I thought I'd let you know that Tesco Baby & Toddler Club and the Royal Life Saving Society UK are running a free BabySafe seminar on Tuesday 24th March 2009 at Lightfoot Sports Centre, Wharrier Street, Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 3BR (from 7.00pm to 9.00pm).

The two hour sessions, will give parents and carers the vital skills they need in coping with emergencies, such as a choking child, burns and scalds, or a baby who has stopped breathing.

The seminar is open to everyone and is free to attend. Parents and carers can call on 01733 385 174 to book a place or visit www.tesco.com/babyclub/join/babyclub_news/baby_safe.page for a registration.

Hope you can make it!

Absolutely FREE to all mums of babies under 6 months!!!! Come along to a Kindermusik class in Ponteland, running Monday to Saturday, and make new friends aswell as enjoy activities with your little one. Its often hard to entertain tiny babies so find out lots of great ideas for singing, dancing, rocking, relaxation, massage, soothing and stimlating... This offer is for February only so don't hang about, see www.kindermusik.co.uk for more general information about Kindermusik or join our blog www.kindermusikwithsuzanneuk.blogspot.com
