A few degenerates seem to have the idea that some of us would for some reason once again want to get together for some drink and inane chatter somewhere in London sometime around Christmas.....

So with that in mind the date of 29 November is being paddled around.

And I agree that magi is awesome - she and I have decided to gate-crash the next Brighton Meet Up (if anyone else wants to come along too)

I am home and tipsy snuggled up on the couch watching X Factor and all is well with the world. Thank you all for an awesome afternoon, it was so fab. Great chat, great food, plenty of wine, could not have been better.

Morning all! So glad I came yesterday. It's not often that I get to spend the day with such smart, funny, and interesting ladies. I had such a great time. I especially enjoyed sharing and chatting about feminism with NotAnother :)

What a lovely bunch. Magimedi also deserves a medal for helping me get home when let's just say I wasn't exactly in great shape by that point...

(Can I just add that my baby slept through the entire night for the first time ever last night! Not sure how that happened but it certainly helped me to sleep off the wine)

I continued drinking at home .

At around 10pm I decided to reheat a nourishing vegetable soup that I'd made earlier from scratch the day before when I was sober enough to think it would be a good idea to have something quick and easy for Saturday night that I'd probably not set the kitchen on fire with.

I am from Mumsnet and many and varied are the ways I know with a chicken.

However, the sharp bread knife was a bit risky.

Aaaahhhh catching up on the thread makes me feel like we are all still together! It was seriously one of the best meet ups. I live how they are all a bit different. I would deffo be up for Brighton, or anywhere!
