As Nanou01 has declared me group leader here's a new thread to try and arrange our next meet-up

Oldies and newbies equally welcome :)Grin

I'm pretty free for the rest of May, bar some dentist appointments

June is very barren so any entry in my social calendar would be most welcome.

Meet without the kids any evening
Meet with the kids only weekends

When and where would whoever like to meet? Grin

I used to live round the corner from it and it wasn't great (that was a while ago mind)

Uwila · 17/05/2006 14:40

sorry was watching footie

errr

Don't really know what is still there as moved from chiswick 7+ years ago but I do remember that that place wasn't great (though the fact that it remains must say something)

most of the curry places a bit further towards hammersmith are great can't remember names though

sorry am hopeless

Oh La Trompette is fab but may be a bit spenny

MrsBigD · 18/05/2006 07:24

7+ years Grin and the restaurant is still there... can't be all THAT bad then Grin

OP posts:
Uwila · 18/05/2006 08:37

MrsBigD, have you been to the greek restaurant in Ealing (Wine and Moussaka)? Is it any good?

Mrs Recycle, we went to a Greek restaurant once, but I can't remember what is was called or where it was. Was it anywhere near Ealing/Chiswick?

MrsBigD · 18/05/2006 09:51

Uwila, yes I have been numerous times and even had my pre-wedding dinner there with all the guests that came from abroad and it was a success and everybody was utterly stuffed.

It's a smallish quiet place so our conversation shouldn't be drowned by live music Grin. I always enjoy the food there and the staff are generally very nice. Didn't even object to dd when she was about 2yo running all over the place. Grant you the place was very quiet as it was early :)

OP posts:
Uwila · 18/05/2006 10:39

Shall we just do Wine and Moussaka then?

suejonez · 18/05/2006 10:45

OK by me - just need to explain to me where it is - I don;t know ealing very well.

MrsBigD · 18/05/2006 10:59

It's pretty easy to find... if coming out of Ealing Broadway Station, turn right and walk up to roundabout
At roundabout turn right and there it is on the right hand side. Can't miss it. :)

I vote for the one you have been to so we can blame you if we don't like it.

MrsBigD · 18/05/2006 11:46

Grin my favourite phrase in my old job was 'go on... blame me... I'm used to it... it's all my fault' Grin

morning girls! the Plan sounds good. MrsBigD.... forget about the job i refered to yesterday. had murdering thoughts towards my boss by the time i finished the day yesterday... you would hate it...and end up in prison!!!! have another interview for another job tonight so must press on. also, dd with lice so the whole family had a lice shampoo session last night. I still stink! but here is one for a good tip from the creche manager. add 8 drops to tea tree oil to a cap full of vodka, mix it and apply to hair and sleep on it. works wonders so am now on my way to buy some vodka, and yes there will be some left by the time i get home!
