As Nanou01 has declared me group leader here's a new thread to try and arrange our next meet-up

Oldies and newbies equally welcome :)Grin

I'm pretty free for the rest of May, bar some dentist appointments

June is very barren so any entry in my social calendar would be most welcome.

Meet without the kids any evening
Meet with the kids only weekends

When and where would whoever like to meet? Grin

Right, i can't make it to the meet up Sad as i'm in so much pain with braxton hicks and rib pain that i am just too uncomfortable. Spend most days from 4pm ish on the floor whinging. Sure he is coming early as i can't believe i will be in this much pain for the next 11 weeks! So all i ask is you all have a drink for me as i can't even manage a sip! Arghhhh roll on LABOUR! Actually looking forward to it....

And how are you all besides?

Uwila · 22/05/2006 13:20

No, classy is for those of us without lice and without nits. Yuck yuck yuck. Who am I hanging out with?!?!?!

Snowboo, so sorry you are miserable. Wish I could help. 11 weeks must seem an eternity. Maybe if you jump up and down a lot he'll just fall out. Wink

SnowBoo · 22/05/2006 13:42

Hahaha i hope its gonna be that easy! They've worked out from my scan that his birth weight is going to be approx 9lb 8oz. So not too painful.

Uwila · 22/05/2006 13:44

Eh? 9lb 8oz is not too painful? Not in my book. But, those size scans are not very accurate. So, keep your fingers and legs crossed.

MrsBigD · 22/05/2006 14:08

Snowboo, sorry to hear you're in so much pain! I used to do some pseudo yoga stretches that helped with the rib pain. I'll keep a seat for you anyhow, so if you feel up to it on the day join us :) Otherwise we'll just have to toast you.

O.k. on Uwila's request 1 nits/lice free table will be booked for 15th June

Who's coming then besides
Uwila

Ta MrsBigD. So how do i do this stretch? Need some help!

MrsBigD · 22/05/2006 16:18

Snowboo ... sit on floor cross legged, relax, reach up with one arm (you choose whether to start right or left :) ) whilst breathing in, then breath out slowly, with next slow breath in reach a bit higher and sort of over your head till you feel a GENTLE stretch. Hold there for a few slow breaths and slowly release stretch. Repeat with other arm. The arm that's not 'in use' should be relaxed and resting on your lap.

HTH

SnowBoo · 22/05/2006 16:19

MrsBigD · 22/05/2006 16:25

MrsBigD · 23/05/2006 16:50

not me... YANKS WHERE ARE YOU?

OP posts:
Nanou1 · 23/05/2006 17:13

great stuff! interview in central london went very well and i have a second one on thursday at 9am. had a great first meeting and they "loved" me to the point of changing the hours to fit to allow me to pick up dd from creche! told the agency they would stop looking if i accept their offer on thursday. just as well since the other guys in hammersmith "rejected" me this morning. feedback was that i might clash with one of the bosses ?! still working that one out! how are you all?

suejonez · 23/05/2006 17:35

I'd love to know what you said that makes them think you'd clash with someone you didn;t even meet! Are you the clashing sort? was it the "F**k off all bosses" T-shirt you wore? What strange feedback to give someone after an interview.

Nanou1 · 23/05/2006 17:41

would love to know too!!! but come to think of it now... maybe he did not like it when i showed my lap dancing skills on the boardroom table... that really is the only thing i can think of... LOL LOL LOL Wink

Uwila · 23/05/2006 17:43

Maybe he likes 'em blond? Or dumb? Or just plain easy?

Oh well, good luck on Thursday. Let us know how it goes.

Oh oh oh... maybe it was 'cause your lice wouldn't get on with his nits?

MrsBigD · 23/05/2006 17:57

I think Uwila is probably right LOL you're not blond and have a brain...
or maybe worse... You're French??? Grin

Good luck for Thursday. They sound like a good crowd :)

Uwila · 24/05/2006 14:30

Oh, MrsBigD. You are brave.... Careful now. Being German and all.... (although I suppose it is still ranked well above American around here)

MrsBigD · 24/05/2006 14:50

hehehehe I'm sure Nanou won't hit me ... too hard Grin

We are such a 'unfavourable nationality group' aren't we Grin
