How weird that I should be hovering when you post Frizzlestick.... tis I. Serah! I am nearly back on visiting feet. Hows that baby of yours? Smile

Squarer · 02/05/2006 21:26

Oh, and after taking a stroll with Rhiann, I am hoping to do a farm meet at Fery Farm in Hoveringham OR White Post Farm in Farnsfield, so will be looking to poll for best dates. Please all make sure that you are set up for CATs as I will CAT you all to point you in the direction of the thread Smile

Frizbe · 04/05/2006 21:41

ahhh ha har! so that's who you are these days Grin dd2 is still an angel, even after her 8 week jabs today, small grizzle, quick feed and happy little bubba again, hurrah! How's ds?

alibo · 04/05/2006 22:03

i have relatives in nottingham, and would love to join a meet up at white post farm or ferry farm park. i'll keep an eye on when you decide!

Squarer · 04/05/2006 22:42

I'll CAT you to alert you Alibo - just make sure you have them enabled.
Friz - DS is lovely - fiery and feisty but lovely, with long stawberry curls (have refused to cut anything except his fringe - once). He has just started walking this last week (believe it or not!!) It's less having a child, more pet orangutang.... Grin

Frizbe · 06/05/2006 21:23

lol squarer Grin and there was I having a mini Mac (Greenwing) moment until you said Orangutang!

Astrophe · 08/05/2006 15:02

Hi girls, Friz told me about this thread. I'm in Derby and would like to meet up...maybe...never have before...I have a dd almost 2 years and a ds 8 weeks. Feeling like a car trip somewhere I don't know (am new to the country) would be a little daunting right now especially as ds is not feeding well at the mo. But maybe in a few weeks when things settle down - thats assuming they do!

Ponka · 16/05/2006 15:26

Hiya Astrophe. My DS1 is nearly 2 and my DS2 is 5 weeks. Sounds like we have kids the same age. It would be nice to meet you. Watch this space......

Ponka · 17/05/2006 22:54

Hi everyone,

We should set a date for Rushcliffe park as the weather is getting nice.

Can anyone make Rushcliffe park on the morning of the Tuesday 13th June with Rhian and I? It would be so nice to meet you all (or see you again in the case of Blondie).

S0A0M · 18/05/2006 07:19

Sorry can't do mondays or tuesdays as i'm at work.

blondie82 · 20/05/2006 13:11

I havent got a clue where rushcliffe park is!!

Rushcliffe park is just past Ruddington on your way to Loughborough

blondie82 · 21/05/2006 18:09

think thats abit too far for me...

SquarewaysHereWeCome · 21/05/2006 19:59

I'm in and I'll give you a lift if you have a carseat Blondie as you are on my way there. Was about to email Rhian for the Rushcliffe Experience but just spotted this thread Smile
Will be sorting out a date for a Ferry Farm meet up in the not too distant future too but will CAT you all to alert you to the thread.

Does anyone have a young baby that would benefit from a Hauc Rocking Chair/seat or a Mamas and Papas bath support by the way? They are on their way to the charity shop if not. Give me a shout and I can bring them along if anyone is interested. (The chair is in immaculate condition, the bath support has a few marks/scratches but nothing major)

SquarewaysHereWeCome · 21/05/2006 20:00

(oh, btw, it's me, Squarer)

Rhian101 · 22/05/2006 13:38

Hi there Squareways! Looking forward to meeting you. Ruddington is only a little way from West Bridgford Blondie, it'd be great to see you again. Smile

Ponka · 22/05/2006 19:27

Oooh. Possibly in the bath support, Squarer. I have one of those mesh ones that they lie down on but not any kind of sitting up one for when they are a bit older. What kind is it?

Sorry you can't make it SOAOM. Hopefully the next one will be on a better day for you. I can also offer a lift Blondie, will be going via Colwick Loop road anyway, I think.

SquarewaysHereWeCome · 23/05/2006 09:58

Hi Ponka - its the bath support as opposed to chair - \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAMAS-AND-PAPAS-BAMBINO-BATH-SEAT-SUPPORT_W0QQitemZ7767422375QQcategoryZ96772QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\like this one}
DS wasn't laid back in the bath with this one - more kind of half propped. We used it til he was just under a year old as he never sat up unaided until 10 months and then still preferred to lay back in the bath and go splish splash in this! I think he loved it as it was so secur and there is no way they can inadvertently roll.
I don't mind putting it to one side and bringing it along if you want to have a look? Let me know!

Ponka · 23/05/2006 20:24

Sounds a lot better than the one that we have. I'd love to see it. I'll give you something for it if you want?

SquarewaysHereWeCome · 24/05/2006 09:02

I will bring it along then Ponka - I don't want any money for it - you can just have it if you like it Smile
