We have playgroup on tuesdays so can't come to the park - but I'll keep checking the thread and hopefully come next time :) Have fun.

PitterPatter · 08/06/2006 22:55

Hi It's Ponka. I've never really liked my name much so I finally got around to changing it to something different.

Still set for Tuesday?

So far I think it's only Rhian, Squarer and myself (unless anyone has dropped out). Blondie, can't I persuade you if you have a lift?

What about 10:30ish in the children's playground (or if it's raining, meet at the park end of the car park so Rhian can show us where a nearby cafe is? I think I'll probably bring a packed lunch for us.

Looking forward to it.

Rhian101 · 09/06/2006 15:30

Sounds great, 10.30 next Tuesday at Rushcliffe Country Park, Ruddington - see you there!

squarer · 11/06/2006 18:35

Last minute addition....

I hope you both don't mind if my non - mumsnetter friend tags along. She's very nice and so is her DD. Smile

Lots of sunshine tomorrow please......

Top day today by the way, ladies who did

Ponka · 13/06/2006 23:23

Changed my name back.... I felt like my identity had been lost! Grin

Yeah. Fab day. Thanks a lot. DS1 and I are really tired. DS2 is wide awake because he slept through the whole thing!

Rhian101 · 14/06/2006 16:20

And might I add what a bunch of ridiculously well-behaved children you lot have! We had a great day too; good company, good weather, good food and fantastic conversation - what more could you ask for? Grin

squarer · 14/06/2006 20:30

Ah, now did you forget I was there with my disappearing DS Rhian?
In any case, get your bum over to the all new meetup thread young lady! I am looking forward to another day of good company, conversation and food.... only this time I will bring some of my own food Wink Grin

Ponka · 16/06/2006 22:46

Squarer, I had to come on tonight to tell you that my DS1 will not shut up about yours. He has said his name about 10 times today. I think he made a bit of an impression!

squarer · 16/06/2006 22:57

NOOOO!!! Really? It was the sandwich stealing wasn't it??? Grin
Do you think it is because it is an incredibly easy name for a LO to say?

blondie82 · 18/06/2006 21:11

Sorry I missed the meet up guys.... would've been nice to see you all again...

OP posts:
Rhian101 · 19/06/2006 09:39

Sorry we missed you too! You'll have to come to the next one, Blondie.

Ponka · 19/06/2006 15:17

Yeah. Please come to Ferry Farm, Blondie! It'll be good to see you again.

Squarer, I think it is because your DS's name is easy to say, yes. Or that he liked the brief game of ball he had with him. Although, he's not mentioned him since that day now.

Kayls · 20/06/2006 13:32

OP posts:
Ponka · 01/07/2006 00:11

Another city birth here. I've heard QMC is good though.

Squarer, you've not still got that bouncer have you? I expect you have charity shopped it by now but my Mum and Dad were thinking of buying one to have at theirs for DS2.

Ponka · 16/08/2006 22:01

Noooooo. I won't let this thread die. Where shall we go next?

angelfaces · 20/08/2006 16:58

Did any of you nottingham girls use the birth pool at the city hospital? let me know all about it if you did!

Ponka · 22/08/2006 23:13

I wish! It was in my birth plan but that went out the window. I saw though and it and it looked good.

Ponka · 09/09/2006 00:14

Rhian101 · 13/09/2006 13:44
