Hurrah! Hello Rhian. Yes thank you, we did (apart from the month of August which seemed entirely taken up with chicken pox ).

Did you have a nice time back home? Are you back in Notts now? I'm back at work at the beginning of October but am still free Mondays and Tuesdays. I'd love to meet up soon, with you and anyone else. I bet your DS is significantly bigger than when I saw him last. I do feel like another trip to Rushcliffe park before it starts getting cold.

Rhian101 · 19/09/2006 15:14

Yes, back in Notts, back to reality! It was such a lovely summer. We should definately do a Rushcliffe trip very soon.

Hello - if you're still meeting up, I'm new in town and would love to meet some mums.

S0A0M · 27/10/2006 09:33

where abouts are you?

Rhian101 · 04/11/2006 22:44

hello Gringa! Have been rubbish at keeping in touch with anyone. Welcome! Where have you come from?

Rhian101 · 21/11/2006 09:50

Right, everybody seems to have disappeared from this thread! Where are you all hiding? You had better not be xmas shopping (I haven't started yet, and I don't like those who are organised).

Well, I just wanted to say it was great to meet those of you I have met - especially Ponka, Blondie, and Squarer! Thanks for all the support I got when I first arrived in the area knowing no one!

But... we're off. My lovely husband is dragging me away to the seaside for good. He's got a new job, so we're leaving just before christmas. I hope everything works out for everybody and I shall lurk on these threads every once in a while.

xxx

Oh Rhian. I actually cried when I read that (soppy old cow that I am). It's been so good to go out and do a few bits and pieces with you. I was so looking forward to seeing you and your DS again and was going to get in touch after the new year. I can't imagine him walking (which I guess he is by now being as my DS isn't too far off, can you believe it?).

I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you find some Mum's to kick around with, whichever seaside town you are going to.

I hope you stay about on Mumsnet a bit so we can keep in touch. xxx

Rhian101 · 16/01/2007 17:11

Oh, Ponka! You're so lovely! We've actually moved to Whitby, so if you ever fancy a visit just let me know. Christmas was stressful - we moved on the 22nd, great planning! And we're now sort of settled. Just had the phone line installed so have only just been able to get in touch. I hope your lovely dss are well, my little one is toddling around manically. Keep in touch, and we're not too far away...

OliviaMumsnet · 12/02/2007 19:55

Are you pregnant - or do you know anyone who is? We're urgently looking for pregnant women to spend about half an hour in Boots in Nottingham on Feb 22nd (and talk to someone from Kimberly Clark at the same time) in exchange for £50 worth of vouchers.

We need two first time mums-to-be, two second (or more) time mums-to- be, and a couple shopping for their first child - all in their third trimester. Ideally we need to confirm names in the next day or so.

So if you think you might be interested, or know someone who would, or have any bright ideas on where we can access the pregnant folks of Nottingham, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.

Huge thanks

MNHQ

Just bumping this again. We've had a few folk respond, but need more Notts folk in their third trimester... and still need a couple shopping for their first baby. Please can you all wrack your brains and see if you have any clever recruiting ideas for this project.

Thanks!
