any nottingham mums out there?

Run riot is good, probably best for confident toddlers onwards. There are 2 little ball pit areas where you could sit with a little one that's just crawling or beginning to stand up. It is open to children up to 10 I think so there can sometimes be some big ones there. you can get a coffee from a vending machine or go next door into the arena bit and get a more substantial snack and they are fairly tolerant about little ones . Hope that helps.

Hi if your arranging another meet up at any time I would love to tag along with my 10 month old

Rhian101 · 27/03/2006 23:55

I'd really like to arrange a walk around Rushcliffe Park in Ruddington sometime soon. Would anybody be interested?

Jackstini · 28/03/2006 09:29

Hi Rhian - yes I would be up for that. Am just waiting for baby to pop out (7 days overdue today...) but am sure I will need a break and a walk will be good exercise after the birth! I will keep checking the thread.

Rhian101 · 28/03/2006 22:49

Fingers crossed it'll happen soon, Jackstini. Good luck Smile

Squarer · 29/03/2006 12:55

Me! Still!!! I have just been having a bit of a nightmare with family, dog, weather and babies and a combination of all of them from time to time (too long winded to post on Mumsnet). Dog having operation on Monday and should be ok for a walk sometime soon after that (has been out of action). As for the rest of the variables....

I promise I will be in touch soon Smile

S0A0M · 29/03/2006 14:51

Hi Rhian I would be up for a walk around Rushcliffe park definately can't do mondays or tuesday but any other day i could probably make it. When were you thinking of?

Rhian101 · 30/03/2006 13:57

Hi SOAOM! No particular time in mind, suggest a couple of days you're free and then we'll see which one's most possible for everyone.
Hi Squarer! When would you be interested in a wander? Hope your dog's op goes well. Smile
Blondie? Ponka? Robinpud? Anyone else?

Rhian101 · 30/03/2006 13:59

Ooh, and Ponka? Jackstini? Any new babies yet?!

Ponka · 01/04/2006 14:06

No new ones here, yet. Rhian. I've become a bit of a hermit wating for it all. Will definately be up for a park visit once it's all happened and I should imagine that would be quite soon after because DS1 will go crazy if I keep him stuck in the house. 5 days and counting.......

Jackstini, are you going to City Hospital? There's a slight possibility we may end up there at the same time by the sounds of it. Not that I'd know who you were if we did!

Jackstini · 08/04/2006 19:23

Hi - yes I did end up in city hosp - had dd on 30 March - you can check out the full story under birth announcements if you like!
They were very good - let me know if you have any questions. Smile

Ponka · 13/04/2006 21:46

Another baby here. Luke Elliott, born 7th April. 81b 1 0z. He is lovely and healthy. I didn't fare so well as I lost a lot of blood and have become very anaemic (is that how you spell it?). So I am very tired and not up to meeting yet (but very happy we now have DS2! Grin). Will post again when recovered enough to go for walks etc. Won't be too long I hope.

blondie82 · 14/04/2006 11:36

Great news Ponka!!!
Hope you and little Luke are doing well....

Rhian101 · 18/04/2006 20:46

Been away in Wales and missed all the announcements! Huge congrats Ponka and Jackstini! I owe you a drink too Ponka so first round's on me Smile
Hope you feel better soon, am looking forward to that walk. xxxx

S0A0M · 25/04/2006 09:19

Congratulations to all the new additions. Ive picked up some sort of virus so been trapped in the house for the last 2 weeks so will definately be up for a walk when everyone is settled and ready.

jayjaybaby · 27/04/2006 09:59

Hello Jay! I'm near West Bridgford but we go to the Attenborough Centre often. Perhaps we could arrange for a meet up there sometime. Smile

jayjaybaby · 28/04/2006 15:18

fairydust · 28/04/2006 15:46

Frizbe · 28/04/2006 22:30

Oh FD, I'm away that week Sad had a nice day last year as well Smile enjoy it all!

Rhian101 · 29/04/2006 00:07

Aaah! Am in Wales then! We must arrange a back up day for those who can't make it!

Jackstini · 02/05/2006 11:25

Congrats Ponka and hope you are feeling a bit better now - did you end up in City hosp then?
Know what you mean about the tiredness - I lost 1500ml blood due to emergency CS and felt drained!
Friz - shame you can't make the castle this year - was looking forward to meeting you, still sure there will be something else planned soon

Frizbe · 02/05/2006 21:11

Jackstini indeed!!
