What's this nonsense about later babies being on time?! Clearly yoursdidn't get the memo... At this point J was insisting we eat curry every night and made himself ill trying to keep up with my hardier taste buds!

Will send contractual vibes your way (or do I mean something else?!)

In other news, as I dropped T off at nursery this morning she was giving me a hug, was handed over and promptly hugged her key worker. I wonder if I ought to be jealous but I'm actually quite relieved!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 19/05/2011 11:28

Leggy - awww it is so cute when they do that! I love it.
I find it reassuring that D loves his key worker and the other staff in his room.
When I picked him up yesterday they were about to go out and play again, and he insisted on going out as well, so I let him and just watched him play with his friends for a bit before I told him it was time to go home.

spiggy · 19/05/2011 11:53

I have trouble getting my 2 out of nursery- they run away and hide or lie on the floor and claim they are staying there all weekend. I think it is the best advert a nursery can have!

Indith · 19/05/2011 12:01

It is so comforting when you know that they will turn to the staff emmbers for comfort and not be crying after you. I really liked that ds was happy taking comfort from several different adults, I sometimes feel it is a shame that dd hasn't had the nursery experience, in an odd sort of way.

Oxytocin vibes heading your way Spiggy. Get a move on else kara will beat you. Plus we need cake and half term would be a great time for newborn welcome cake as we could drag Foxy over.

StealthPolarBear · 19/05/2011 12:14

Please tell me when that is and if I am organised (which I doubt) I will make sure I can come. I NEED cake and a chat,

Indith · 19/05/2011 12:20

Half term is week after next. What's up? I can offer Wine and a chat.

So both me and Spiggy need to have popped by the bank holiday weekend.

Now where is my clary sage oil!

Entonox is being delivered today!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 19/05/2011 14:06

Got my HB kit now and the entonox is being delivered at 3:45pm.

I now have a sudden urge to play tennis on the Wii!!

spiggy · 19/05/2011 14:14

clary sage oil not doing a lot of good here

Indith · 19/05/2011 14:50

When I was trying desperately to evict ds, after doing clary sage baths and massage, sex, curry, bouncing on the ball while twiddling my nippes and goodness knows what else besides the swimming pool reopened after the Christmas break. On Tuesday I swam around 40 lengths breast stroke (very good for positioning) then on Wednesday I went to aqua natal and the MW made it a very invogorating class with a lot of bouncing. Then that night I forced dh to have more sex. 5am ds was born Grin

Indith · 19/05/2011 14:53

Oh yes and I tried a DIY sweep Hmm Grin. I was desperate, 42 weeks and term about to start and I didn't want to miss too many classes!
