Hi all so after putting on 2stone in last 3 years am now in the overweight category with bmi over 28. Having found no motivation but getting more and more fed up with myself, I've taken the plunge after reading loads of reviews about exante have brought myself the 2 week box, its coming tomorrow so fingers crossed I can stick to it!
Anyone else starting it or currently doing it?
Posting here to hold myself accountable!

That's great, well done. Yes, I restarted yesterday, having horrified myself with the scales and recent photos with double chins, looking like various family members! Groundhog day, but I know I can stick to this and lose a decent amount of weight. Solidarity!

par05 · 03/11/2020 10:28

That was me as well! Was on facetime with my brother and thought face looks huge lol, but am pleased as to how well I've curbed my chocolate addiction and food binges, and don't actually feel hungry with this diet.
Good luck restarting you'll do fab, let us know how you get on x

Great to hear your first week has been going so well. How are you feeling? Is it manageable with work?

I've decided to join you. I cant believe how much weight I have put on these last 6 months, and I was already big before that. I've been trying to count calories and have healthy options but I'm also cooking for my kids and I keep falling off the wagon. I think with exante, I can just make the family meal for the kids and I'm not having to make an alternative version for me. It will still be hard not to take a bite of their lasagne or stew or whatever but I can do it!

Right now I'm 13st 7 and I'm 5'3 so it's really not great. Ultimate goal is to get to pre-paid weight of 9st.

Exante has been delivered. Will start tomorrow! I'll be a week behind you but you're not alone!!

WhereverIGoddamnLike · 03/11/2020 11:39

Prepaid! Haha. That was meant to say pre-children!

Wetdogloveshubert · 03/11/2020 18:24

@WhereverIGoddamnLike I'm same weight, but 5.6 so I think I'd been kidding myself that I hadn't gained as it hadn't been obvious in the mirror. Let's do this Smile

Papergirl1968 · 03/11/2020 18:45

I tried Exante but it really upset my stomach. Did anyone else have this problem?

par05 · 03/11/2020 21:58

Fab @WhereverIGoddamnLike good luck tomorrow! I've been able to stick to this as normally I give up very quickly saying that it's only been a week! I also think meals being sort of prepared works for me as don't have to think about what to make, I do for kids but know what I'm having.
Like @Wetdogloveshubert says let's do this 😊

@Papergirl1968i I have had a gripey stomach and bloating and dare I say it some wind after the shakes!

OP posts:
par05 · 03/11/2020 22:35

The ready meals make it much easier too whereas I know what I'm having, i cook for the kids then i have mine, much easier.
Also yes have had a gripey belly on this mainly after the shakes.

Like you @par05, I've had bloating and wind (no harm in telling it like it is!) but previously this has been a short-lived problem.

Doing well today, though I'm off to a pre-organised dinner with friends tomorrow so I'll have to step off briefly. I'll have just the one shake beforehand and expect no keto until Friday now.

Papergirl1968 · 04/11/2020 12:32

Good luck to all of you. I will start doing it again, when I can find the willpower!

par05 · 04/11/2020 20:32

Hi so weighed this morning and have had a loss of 9lbs in 10 days think it slowed down as time of month! Ran out of exante bars and have brought some of the home bargain protein bars until I can get some more! As they def help with my choc fix!

I'm starting when I get my pack. Have tried before without much success but am thinking I can cope for two weeks 🤞

WhereverIGoddamnLike · 08/11/2020 09:30

@par05 Well done! That's amazing. How are you feeling?

I've been AWOL as I had to go away for work for a few days at the last minute so spent this week eating room service. Oops. Got home last night and starting today. Feeling ready for it!

par05 · 08/11/2020 10:21

Hi and am feeling good @WhereverIGoddamnLike not constantly thinking of food which is what I'm usually like and have found it quite easy to stick too! Good luck for today!

itsmschanandlerbong · 08/11/2020 21:26

I'm going to order some this week to start on Sunday. Need a short, sharp kick to the bum! Any tips you've found along the way?

Helloyouthere · 08/11/2020 21:38

Good luck all. You will find some will moan about shake diets, especially family. I didnt tell some or work colleagues.

I lost 2st when we were in the first lockdown with Exante and so far have kept it all off Smile x

par05 · 09/11/2020 07:45

Good luck @itsmschanandlerbong that's what I did as just couldn't shift any weight no matter how hard I tried and this has kickstarter me! Good luck for sunday! And wow @Helloyoutherethats brilliant well done and good to know you kept it off, are you still doing it now or eating normally ?

par05 · 10/11/2020 08:31

Hi so jumped on scales this morn and have lost another 2lbs! Chuffed another 3 lbs and that's a stone. Got to be honest have been struggling with losing weight for last 2 years, and nothing I did would shift it even over lockdown did 30 day shred in an attempt to kickstart and literally only lost 3lbs over 30 days.
How is everyone else doing? Hope you've all had good losses too 😊

I'm starting back this morning. I've put so much weight in recently and I weighed myself this morning and cried.

CanSomeoneElsePickMyName · 11/11/2020 07:41

Posted too soon.
I'm 14stone 6lbs (1lb off the heaviest I've ever been) and 5ft 4'
I've set up my fitness pal too just to record water intake mainly abs track my weight loss. I'm so annoyed at myself that I've let it get so bad again. I was 10 stone 5 last year. 😫
