Morning all Flowers

Here's the spreadsheet for its final outing although that said, you'll see that @FinallyHere has added extra columns for anyone who wants to keep using it

I hope that all has gone well - and I notice that we have at least 2 Bootcampers who have reached/exceeded the 1 stone mark, which is fantastic!

Just because we've reached the end of the 8 weeks doesn't mean that you have to stop - or stop chatting. We'll keep this thread going for as long as people want to use it, and I'll start a new one once this one gets full.

@prettybird that sounds really tough re: your dad's house on top of losing him in the first place Flowers. Could you make a marinade with the yogurt for chicken or lamb?
Took DD for a food shop yesterday to the Lidl near uni and I'm v jealous, it's much bigger and nicer than ours!!

mimosa1 · 06/10/2024 17:19

I'm sorry to hear it @prettybird. Wishing you a peaceful and speedy resolution. And that you are able to buy the flat in the end if that's what you really want.

I look forward to joining the boot camp!

FinallyHere · 07/10/2024 11:36

Sorry to read what you and yours are going through @prettybird

I've read people on here stirring thick double creme into lower fat yoghurt or just throwing away the yogurt and eating the double creme

Long time lurker on these threads and I followed along with a bootcamp a couple of years ago by myself... I thought it time to come out of the shadows and join the next one properly! Hello everyone ☺️

I have a dilemma as I am away for the weekend at the end of the first week of Bootcamp and it is a long planned event that I will struggle to stay low-carb and alcohol free for.

I am not sure whether it is best to start bootcamp on 21 Oct, knowing i will cock it up a few days in, but doing an extra week of strict bootcamp to compensate. Or starting a week late and being slightly out of sync, but good from the get go.

Any advice from experienced Bootcampers? I promise I understand that planned deviations are not a "thing", it is just the timing with a long awaited, much needed holiday weekend! (And the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop! 😂)

Signed up! 🫡

Lougle · 09/10/2024 22:12

Fantastic. I got a new spiraliser attachment for my Kenwood Chef which I'm very excited to try.

BIWI · 09/10/2024 23:05

@ReconstructionSite I'd do everything that you can to make sure that you've planned for Bootcamp when you get back. So plan ahead, plan for meals and make sure you've cleared out your cupboards/fridge/freezer for anything that might tempt you. Just make sure that you're ready to hit the ground running when you get back!

@prettybird I’m guessing we’ve all got some ideas what you can do with that rubbish yoghurt and it may involve your BB!

@Lougle I just have a hand spiraliser but many moons ago my friend bought a proper attachment type after I’d waxed lyrical about spiralused veg etc. She was absolutely delighted with it as it made the best curly fries. 🤣 Don’t think it’s been used for anything else.

See you all on the 21st. I’ll go sign up now.

ReconstructionSite · 10/10/2024 08:13

Thank you @BIWI , I shall do that and start a week late. Will sign up on the other thread!

TheOnlyMrsW · 10/10/2024 08:52

Thanks BIWI, all signed up

WellExactly2 · 10/10/2024 12:24

I'm going to lurk and not officially sign up, well not lurk as I plan on posting regularly. I started at the beginning of September and have lost 16.5lbs so far. Currently on 13st 5 and 2 stone to go!

alwaysonadiet1 · 12/10/2024 13:04

Please could someone add me to the new bootcamp? I don't know how to do it! 🙏🏻🙊

@BIWI Many thanks. I'm only 1lb up from the end of the last one so raring to go to lose half a stone before Christmas with any luck Smile
