Here's the spreadsheet for its final outing although that said, you'll see that @FinallyHere has added extra columns for anyone who wants to keep using it

I hope that all has gone well - and I notice that we have at least 2 Bootcampers who have reached/exceeded the 1 stone mark, which is fantastic!

Just because we've reached the end of the 8 weeks doesn't mean that you have to stop - or stop chatting. We'll keep this thread going for as long as people want to use it, and I'll start a new one once this one gets full.

That looks lovely! I sometimes do something similar with peppers/spinach etc but would much prefer someone else to cook it for me 😂. All of the coffee shops/restaurants round here are firmly in the "something on toast/bagel" vibe for breakfast and the only vaguely LC offerings are full breakfasts - without the beans and toast...........
@Afternoonteavirgin I was gobsmacked last week in Aldi - have turned my bottle upside down in an effort to get the last dregs out

Question-how many carbs are in potato skins as in literally the skin? When I peeled potatoes last weekend I tossed the skins in oil and rosemary and baked them. I am not going to eat them as I want to be very low carb this week but wondering if the skins are relatively low and could be incorporated into a low-ish carb maintenance thing once I get there?

16.4g/100g according to nutritionix, so not low carb at all, sadly.

Who uses an air fryer for meat? I was given a small one by my sister, and I mean a tiny one but no instructions with it. I've tried it twice now. Once for Sausages, which exploded 😂and last night I chucked a piece of belly draft in there, and it was totally dry. 200c for 30 mins🤔Everyone raves about these things, but I don't want to keep ruining my food. How do you all use it/prepare meat for it?

Cook it at a lower temperature and shorter time.

Same as @UnOeufIsEnough and many others here I have been plodding. Definite carb creep but have maintained around 142-4 for months now. Would love to lose those last few pounds to reach my goal so icy boot camp could be just the trick.

Well I've finally dug the scales out from under the mountain of other household goods and had a quick weigh. Pleasantly surprised that despite all my sins I'm down a bit from last weigh in.

@Lougle Worked a treat! Thanks. I was using it like my normal oven on the same temps! 😂😂

I'll fill in all the gaps on the spreadsheet tomorrow where I never weighed.

Afternoon!
Had a 2.7lb loss this week putting me at 10 stone 5lbs (145.06lbs - BMI - 26.69). Happy with that! Thanks to @Lougle I successfully cooked hunters chicken in my air fryer last night (minus the BBQ sauce). It was fabulous!!

B: Babybel/scratchings
L: Prawn Cocktail
Not sure on dinner yet. Tempted to do another hunters chicken!

That lets me cheat a bit whilst on holiday for a week and then crack back to standard before gearing up for boot camp. I definitely need another Bootcamp though as dearly want to get to the next goal.

Fab news @BIWI, have been largely coasting over the summer but definitely feel like I need a bit of a shove in the right direction!
DD has now gone, and I've got this week clearing out the freezer then a whole new world of recipes that don't rely on a fussy teen......going to spend some time tidying out drawers and going through recipe books ready for an autumn reset. Hovering around 11st10 which is a stone heavier than I'd like to be (but us also easy to maintain so wondering if it's my "natural" weight so to speak)

I'm looking forward to bootcamp for the accountability re. staying low carb, but I'm pretty much where I need to be weight-wise, so I need to make sure that I'm eating enough to maintain and not lose.

WFH today which I don't often so having a fabulous brunch of (a variation of) Turkish menenen.

Courgette, red pepper and shallots in chopped toms, fennel and cumin seeds, chilli. Once the base is cooked kept back half to freeze then cracked two eggs in, lid on until cooked. Serve with yogurt mixed with garlic, lemon and oil.

Beats my normal boring (Mumsnet Massive) salad I take to work most days. We do have a microwave so I do make use of leftovers where I can though, prefer hot food!

I usually have it sickly sweet full of additives with low carb creamer (lord knows what's in that!) and then I put one of the squirty sugar free flavours in it too. It tasted amazing to me and really acted as a pick-me-up even with using decaff.

Last couple of days I've left half of it. Annoying as the low carb creamer costs a fortune too!

You shouldn't really be having artificial sugar free flavourings (unless they're something natural like inulin or a sugar alcohol [?] like erythritol) and definitely not "sickly sweet" - nor creamer with lots of additives, even if it is low carb. Hmm

Good news is that your taste buds have adjusted so that you're noticing things are too sweet Smile
