Morning all. Sorry for the late start to the thread, but I slept in. Then hungry cats had to be fed before I could deal with this!

Anyway here's the spreadsheet for its penultimate outing

Hopefully all good news to report - but never fear, if last week hasn't been great, you still have a few days left to sort that.

Looks like it's going to be a more settled week weather-wise, and hopefully we really will be seeing more and more signs of spring to cheer us all up.

Here's to a great last week Flowers

B:bacon and scrambled eggs
D: broccoli, asparagus and duck
Greek yoghurt with a teaspoon of cacao
2 cups of tea with cream
Not enough water yet but will get through it ag work tonight.

Feel a real difference in how my clothes fit the last few days, fingers crossed I will see the difference on the scales tomorrow!

@nowlook

Ragz and Stunt are setting up a vegan coffee house (obviously with book exchange). Menu is currently:

Creaky coffee: 5
Mashed seeds: 8.5

Assume that's how they're going to do the price list. Whatever will they call it? Grin

😂 I think it should be called Cathy Twat's
nowlook · 28/03/2021 20:35

Not sure I'd trust the signwriters with that Ragz Grin

Doilooklikeatourist · 28/03/2021 20:58

Coffee Twats ?
I’d go there

nowlook · 28/03/2021 21:01

Are you a vegan though tourist? You have to be vegan.

Doilooklikeatourist · 28/03/2021 21:08

Oh no , not vegan
Life without cheese isn’t worth living

StuntNun · 28/03/2021 21:10

I couldn't eat cheese for a year while I was breastfeeding DS4. Vegan cheese is maybe one twentieth as good as dairy cheese. Confused

nowlook · 28/03/2021 21:14

You're not much of an advert for your vegan cafe (and book exchange) Stunt. We need more ideas along the lines of mashed seeds, if you please. None of this negativity about the ethos of the brand.

Doilooklikeatourist · 28/03/2021 21:22

Could the cafe be called ( and serve only )
Water , water , water ?

StuntNun · 28/03/2021 22:22

Not true - I like vegans... I just couldn't eat a whole one!Grin

ZiggZagg · 28/03/2021 23:47

Dreading this weigh in tomorrow, I've really fucked around this bootcamp and I'm so disappointed in myself Sad

I'm drinking lots of water in the slim chance of a Christmas miracle that I have at least stayed the same!

I just haven't been able to say no to chocolate and I've definitely got my sweet tooth back, it's going to be so hard to get back on track but I know I have to, I don't want to go back to where I was before, I want to feel healthy again!

Sorry to whinge, I promise I will be more enthusiastic tomorrow!

Or waiter! waiter! waiter!

venusandmars · 29/03/2021 00:23

@ZiggZagg I understand. The whole of last year I was trying bc after bc (and I've been doing this for a while so I know it works for me). But this time my mood and motivation and mojo was right.

So what really drives you? Health? A big birthday or event? Competition against a skinny dsis? (that's one for me).

I'm a hedonist at heart, I love warmth and comfort and richness. That can be found in a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a flake. Or it can be found in a rich chicken stock with butter and spinach and nutmeg.

But I've found nothing better than the feeling of my clothes not squeezing my middle, of a gap in my trousers, of being able to bend over and tie my shoelaces. That is real pleasure.

acountrymile · 29/03/2021 00:24

which are the most accurate scales to buy? :-)

ZiggZagg · 29/03/2021 00:30

@venusandmars for me it is about my health! A holiday in August kick started my weight loss, I couldn't walk far without getting out of breath or my back killing and I don't want to be like that, I want my kids to remember me as a fun mum who did things with them, not just watching from the sidelines.

I just need to keep sight of that and KOKO. I know bootcamp works as I lost 21lbs last one.

RagzReturnsRebooted · 29/03/2021 09:00

@acountrymile my Omron ones I bought nearly 10nyears ago are still going strong and accurate compared to my work ones which get calibrated. Renpho are also popular on here.

Mimosa1 · 29/03/2021 09:37

200g off for me this week, finally sneaking into 69.9kg again and a total of 4.1 kg off this BC. I've seen lower over the past couple of weeks, and still need a couple of lbs off to get to my ore Christmas weight but I'm still really happy, and will "see" some of you on April 12th's bc! All the best to everyone.
