Morning all. Sorry for the late start to the thread, but I slept in. Then hungry cats had to be fed before I could deal with this!

Anyway here's the spreadsheet for its penultimate outing

Hopefully all good news to report - but never fear, if last week hasn't been great, you still have a few days left to sort that.

Looks like it's going to be a more settled week weather-wise, and hopefully we really will be seeing more and more signs of spring to cheer us all up.

Here's to a great last week Flowers

I'm very impressed with the plank challenge. I can only do about 10s!

I haven't done anything today, feels a bit of a waste of the weekend. I must get out of the house tomorrow, even if it's only for AFW(tm)

StuntNun · 27/03/2021 19:21

Mimosa I've been doing it for nearly a year!

BIWI · 27/03/2021 19:40

My plank record is 6 minutes @Mimosa1!

I keep posting that. I haven't done a 6 minute plank for years, and don't even know if I could manage 2 minutes now Grin

StuntNun · 27/03/2021 20:27

I couldn't do that BIWI I go deaf at three minutes due to the intracranial pressure. I'm sticking to a maximum of 2.5 minutes to be on the safe side!

BIWI · 27/03/2021 21:48

I did only do it once!

Well done @dailyhandtowelwash!

Sorry to hear you're struggling @oneborneverydecade. Don't apologise for getting it all out there, that's what we are all here for and it helps to write it down and make sense of it. You've done fantastic so far, this is just a blip and you have the will powere to get back on track, because you have done it before! This is just a blip.

@RagzReturnsRebooted that chocolate mug cake sounds fab. I might make it for Easter for myself.

B: Leftover fathead pizza, an avocado
D: ceaser salad, roasted broccoli
3 cups of tea with cream
Many waters

3.30am old money was up time today. I’m so so tired. I can get my 2 year old and four year old to bed at 7pm every evening absolutely fine but the youngest has got earlier and earlier getting up and I can’t let her cry and wake her sister who is now in full-time school nursery; that’s not fair on her. So I get up. But bah I’m so tired all the time. I actually wish I’d done co-sleeping when she was younger, least that way I’d be in bed not downstairs before dawn!
Okay moan over. Today’s food: L - 90s toast, wilted spinach & poached eggs, D: fish pie, broccoli & green beans. Lots of fluids, try and fake brightness.

StuntNun · 28/03/2021 06:48

Any chance of a nap later today MrsOmelette?

ouchmyfeet · 28/03/2021 07:12

Toddlers are the pits @MrsOmelette, I remember that always up by 5am stage too well. Hope you manage to put your feet up for a while later.

Yesterday was a bit of a random food day. No breakfast, then ended up at my dad's for unplanned burgers at lunchtime. I ate the burger, cheese and onion (no roll) but missed the FLGV I would have had with it at home. Tea was leftovers so the others had pasta left from our Friday night takeaway and I had a cheesy turnip bake thing with buttered mushrooms and a couple of slices of corned beef.

ListenLinda · 28/03/2021 08:12

@ouchmyfeet Flowers arent you just lovely Smile

Checking in after a few days abscence!
So, the moment of weakness with the kids chocolate buttons is punishing me on the scales. But do you know what, whatever the number says tomorrow, i’ll be fine with it. As it was 7lb+ that would still be there if it wasn’t for a this bootcamp! So thank you all for that Smile

I’ll be on the chat thread between bootcamps and definately will be carrying on this WOE?
There is no big stick on the chat thread is there @BIWI? Grin it’s DDs 4th birthday on the 7th and fully intend to have birthday cake Cake

MrsOmelette · 28/03/2021 10:43

Thanks @ouchmyfeet, just hearing a little camaraderie helps tbh. I don’t know if having gone through it repeatedly before makes it easier (I do KNOW how much she’ll change in next couple of years) or harder (years of sleep deprivation really taking toll in my forties!).
Going to take the dog for nice long beach walk with three teens get the cobwebs blown away 💪.

@Timetobuckup I felt very inspired and confident after I did my lists / planning and realised it's not that hard after all! The recipe threads are amazing.

I made a 'keto' pizza I randomly watched on YouTube on Friday - base was basically cheese and eggs - is that what people mean when they say Fathead pizza?? It was bloody lush!

Question on using sweeteners - I saw stevia drops in my local specialty shop so bought them but without really knowing what I'm doing! I'm also not in maintenance yet but just trying to learn - if a recipe calls for Eryitol (p?!) can I sub with the stevia or is it likely to need the bulk of the E stuff which I'm assuming is more like actual sugar in texture?

I've been out long running again but with a new 2 litre water bladder that was empty with 25% left to run so need to think about how to boost that even more. But I felt amazing again - only stopped twice on a route where I'd normally need 5/6 rest breaks. Hoping that means I'm heading towards fat adapted.

Can't wait for next boot camp so I can feel like a wise old soul instead of a clueless newbie Smile

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 28/03/2021 14:19

I have too much veg to use up today! Cauliflower, courgette, cabbage and broccoli. The DC will only eat the broccoli. DH will only eat the broccoli and the courgette. The rest is up to me. I'm not even especially hungry!

nowlook · 28/03/2021 14:25

Well it's not like you haven't had the practice, is it? Grin Hope the little one turns a corner for you very soon Flowers

I was really touched by your post yesterday ouch. Certainly didn't think any of my inane waffling would be useful to anyone, but I suppose it's help pass the time Wink

cheeseisthebest · 28/03/2021 14:34

Have I missed the styling sessions? Feel like a total frump at the moment.

RagzReturnsRebooted · 28/03/2021 14:46

You and me both. I'm still living in pyjamas, leggings or jogging bottoms! Work is stretchy trousers and a scrub top, so basically pyjamas. I have some dresses in my basket on ebay but that just opens the whole 'which shoes go with that (probably ones I don't own) and do I need tights (which I hate)' so I haven't bought them. I find jeans outrageously uncomfortable after living in soft stretchy things for years...
RagzReturnsRebooted · 28/03/2021 14:48

Oh, breakfast - creaky coffee
Lunch - homemade coleslaw and crispy bacon.
Dinner - will be shepherds pie for everyone else and the filling for me with broccoli in cheese sauce (leftover from yesterday) and maybe mashed swede. My celeriac went moudly Sad

RagzReturnsRebooted · 28/03/2021 14:48

Lol. Creamy, obviously.

StuntNun · 28/03/2021 15:06

Ragz mashed seeds is lush on top of shepherds pie.

StuntNun · 28/03/2021 15:06

Swede. Obviously!

Mimosa1 · 28/03/2021 17:20

I'm completely ravenous today - I'm pretty sure I've had enough fat - yesterday's leftover roast lamb in a curry for lunch today. It's probably the time change messing me around! I'm looking forward / nervous tomorrow's weigh in but did want to thank all the wise boot campers and of course @biwi of the 6mn plank legend Grin for their patience, selflessness and good cheer on this and every other boot camp! I shall see you all on April 12th!

prettybird · 28/03/2021 18:17

Today's earrings: bought to go with a gorgeous red evening dress that my mum made for one of the formal evening dos at Junior Chamber World Congress 1995 in Glasgow (I'd met dh in Miami in 1992 at the World Congress there when Glasgow was bidding to hold it). It was full length and with a fish tail (so that I could still ceilidh dance Wink) - and I had to zip myself into it very carefully Grin

Haven't worn these for yonks either, so have chosen a red top specially (and am wearing my midnight blue velvet jeans) to go over to my dad's for supper tonight.

nowlook · 28/03/2021 18:39

Oh, they're lovely pretty. I do love it when there's a proper "stud": I have bigger than average earlobes Grin

Also hungry here @Mimosa1 and struggling with the hour difference in the manner of Mrs O's toddler...don't like feeling behind on my water (normally have 2.5ltrs plus the same in tea by 6pm).

Boobs are still stubbornly the same size, but now only a very small shelf above my belly button. Unfortunately, the c-section (x2) overhang never disappears completely. I'd make a passable kangaroo.

nowlook · 28/03/2021 18:44

Ragz and Stunt are setting up a vegan coffee house (obviously with book exchange). Menu is currently:

Creaky coffee: 5
Mashed seeds: 8.5

Assume that's how they're going to do the price list. Whatever will they call it? Grin
