You're quite right! Ignore the Scots.

Turnip = small white/purple things
Swede = large, brown/yellow/orange things

Speaking of DH, he (as the main chef) is enthusiastically preparing dinners chock full of butter and cream, because he loves cooking that way. But he isn’t low carbing. I’m rather worried he’s going to expand over the coming weeks. He is already a man capable of putting 50g of butter on a couple of slices of toast, so it’s encouragement he doesn’t need.
That's something he needs to be careful of - high fat and high carb is a real recipe for disaster

Hi, hope everyone's well. I'm very happy with the first week, and getting more motivated. I had trouble concentrating on work last week but feel much better this week after a restful weekend.

My only worry is I'm due to give blood next week for the first time (appointment was made months ago). Do you think this is ok? I'm not hungry as I'm eating lots but wondering if the lack of carbs after doing bootcamp for the first time ever will mean I faint or something? Thanks
