I thought it would be helpful to have a thread showing other low carbers/Bootcampers some low carb products that you've found. Photos, so we can spot them when we go shopping - but also photos of the nutritional data so we know how many carbs per serving they contain.

I've got two that I'm going to start the thread with, firstly Bare Naked noodles. These are made from konjac flour, and have been part of Japanese cuisine for many years. They're a brilliant replacement for noodles in stir fries or soups - and can be used instead of spaghetti (although not quite as successfully!). But they are very, very low in carbs (and calories) so can be a really useful thing to have in your cupboard. They aren't cheap though, at around £2 a pack (which will serve 2), so probably best if you're using them to make everyone else who's eating ordinary noodles/pasta!

The other thing to beware of is that when you open the packet (they're in water) they smell fishy. Rinse them well in fresh water, and that will deal with that - they really don't taste fishy.

Oooh I like the sound of those @StuntNun!

These are rather good if you're looking for a fizzy drink that's carb / sugar / sweetener-free. I got them in Tesco who also sell a similar product called Ugly Water. You can get the same effect by chucking some fruit in sparkling water but these are good for taking out somewhere or if you're trying to break a Diet Coke habit.

Just realised I never reported back about the Lo Dough brownie mix (annoyingly the packet is long since gone but they can be found here lodough.co/products/lo-dough-brownie-mix ) I don’t do boot camp, just general low carb. They were ok straight from the oven, but I didn’t like the taste or texture once cool. I gave one to DH without telling him they were lower carb and he described it as f-ing foul. But I would still say they’re worth a try if you’re trying to do general low carb and getting bored of the same things

Another candidate for a low carb Caesar dressing. I'm eating lots of Caesar salads with chicken and haloumi croutons. This one is from Sainsbury's.

This is also yummy - Salmon and cream cheese sandwich filler. I just eat it from the pot! 2.8 carbs per 100g

Seriously low carb bread from this website

Absolutely amazing. You'd never know it wasn't 'normal' bread.

I bought these rolls today - only 2.7g carbs each, and one is more than enough.

A little more processed than I'd like, but honestly if you're missing bread/need to be able to make the odd sandwich, they're amazing.

I hate pork scratchings, can't even put one in my mouth. But I discovered this Chicken Crackling - it's amazing.

Good as a snack on its own if others around you are eating crisps, but great crumbled on top of other dishes for a bit of tasty crunch.

I bought them in a wee shop in the far North West of Scotland but you can also get them on amazon (and presumably other retailers)

This "kerned" yogurt was new to me and makes a change from Greek (or if the Greek is out of stock, which is how I came to buy this). 3.5g per carbs so on a par with a lot of full fat Greek. Really nice.

Sainsbury's has started stocking Golden Crunch again (I think it must have been going through a repackaging process as it looks different). I've just wolfed a packet: not hard like pork scratchings - they're nice and puffed with salty but not too salty seasoning. 90p a bag I might have bought quite a few Blush

In my big Sainsbury's, it's usually hanging on strips in the aisle near the pork scratching, rather than actually with them. Confused

Really nice creamy Greek Style yogurt which comes in with similarly low carbs (3.8g per 100g) as actual Greek yogurt, which is a bit less palatable for some.

Shirataki flat noodles

These are great - the same as shirataki noodles (like the brand Bare Naked Noodles), but they're flat so more like tagliatelle. They have a softer texture than the round noodles, so are more like actual pasta.

Bought from a local Asian supermarket (Hoo Hing), and definitely recommend.

Amazon stock them, but an extortionate price of over £7!

For those is you like me who can't be bothered to make your own spice mix:

Jamie Oliver's Szechuan Pepper, Chilli and Ginger Salt.

This one has no sugar added. It is relatively high in carbs per 100g, but obviously you'd only ever use a small amount.

Just tried this black bean spaghetti from
Aldi. 1.6g per 100 grams and really good.

Oh dear. I've done a bit of Googling and that spaghetti seems to have been discontinued. How annoying.

MrsFionaCharming · 02/03/2021 19:51

I had Tesco salt and chilli pork ribs plus broccoli for dinner tonight, 1.6g carb in the ribs!

My favourite crunchy, salty low carb snack are Waitrose's macadamia nuts. (M&S do some too but they're not as moreish)

£3 for a 100g bag so not the cheapest but a handful are just the thing when you need something savoury.

5.3 g of carbs for the 100g bag.

I bought this in Sainsbury’s but I’m sure I’ve also seen it in Morrison.
