I thought it would be helpful to have a thread showing other low carbers/Bootcampers some low carb products that you've found. Photos, so we can spot them when we go shopping - but also photos of the nutritional data so we know how many carbs per serving they contain.

I've got two that I'm going to start the thread with, firstly Bare Naked noodles. These are made from konjac flour, and have been part of Japanese cuisine for many years. They're a brilliant replacement for noodles in stir fries or soups - and can be used instead of spaghetti (although not quite as successfully!). But they are very, very low in carbs (and calories) so can be a really useful thing to have in your cupboard. They aren't cheap though, at around £2 a pack (which will serve 2), so probably best if you're using them to make everyone else who's eating ordinary noodles/pasta!

The other thing to beware of is that when you open the packet (they're in water) they smell fishy. Rinse them well in fresh water, and that will deal with that - they really don't taste fishy.

Brilliant. A low carb bread that is actually nice!!

Expensive (3.99 for 4) but fresh baked products and freeze well. Online only from Low Carb Food Company ( who sell lots of decent products)

Just had an amazing bacon roll ( see wk3 boot camp for pics)!

Will be a weekly treat :-)

Discovered these on Amazon, and they are rather nice. Good crunch when you first bite, and then the more you chew, the more chickeny they taste (not much flavour on initial chew, unlike proper crisps). Ingredients are just chicken fillets and salt.

£9.99 for a box of 6, so around £1.66 per bag. Not cheap, but around the price of the M&S Serrano ham crisps, and nicer imo.

I don't know the cost of these I'm afraid as they were a Christmas but these are SO GOOD (so good, I have to eat them after my daughter has gone to bed, otherwise I have to share!)

These were on offer in Waitrose for £1.50 a pack, they are the closest replacement I've found for the M&S seeded crackers that were discontinued.

The low carb wraps from SRSLY (formerly Seriously Low Carb) are out!

4.8g carbohydrate per wrap.

I like them filled with cream cheese, rocket/spinach and Quorn meatballs 😋

Ooh I was looking to try these. What do you think of the taste/texture?

SandraDeee · 09/01/2023 16:18

They feel quite flimsy and I thought they would tear when wrapping around the filling, but they didn’t which was a nice surprise.

Texture is probably not quite as soft as a standard wrap, but they are certainly not too hard and they taste the same to me!

I found these little tins in my Aldi today. 3 flavours, chilli and garlic, ginger and soy and lemon and herb. All around 0.6g carbohydrate per 100g. Should be nice on a salad

Holland and Barrett, £1.49. I got a pack of the cheddar and the Gouda ones. The Gouda have gone already.

Thank you so so much. I loved those M and S crackers and was sad that they were discontinued!

Sadly lo-dough has ceased manufacturing at the moment. Shame, it sounded an interesting product.

BIWI · 24/01/2023 11:31

It was ok (LoDough) but not brilliant, and it was very expensive

Came across these during the last bootcamp and have found them very helpful when you need something crunchy or have to take food out with you

Walden Farms do low carb sauces, this one is BBQ which I buy on Amazon but still use sparingly as it's so expensive!
