Afternoon all.

Really sorry for starting the new thread so late - I had an early start this morning, and travel problems meant I didn't have to time to set this up before my first meeting.

Anyway, here's the spreadsheet.

Good luck in this last week!

I can recommend the D&V stall-breaker. Even though I started eating again on Tuesday evening I’m another lb down this morning making an almost 7lb loss since Sunday morning Shock. Assuming it’ll yo-yo back at some point but it’s nice while it lasts!

Rshard · 15/12/2017 10:44

Well done time! I like your approach and understanding about how your body works!

Excellent furry, glad you’ll still be around. Your trip to the cheese shop sounds lovely.

Just thinking about the post Christmas Excesses Boot Camp. I volunteered to help run it if @SayrraT (or Wombatto ?) set up the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness.

Iirc (on the phone so difficult to check), there were 5 of us who volunteered. If people don't like the idea of being responsible for the whole 10 weeks, we could set up a rota and do 2 weeks each. I'm happy to do the pre-Boot Camp and the first 2 weeks - and the rest if no one else volunteers.

I was thinking of starting w/c 15 January. 8 January is maybe a bit too early - what do people think? A 15 January start would take us up to Easter.

So, a choice and a rota for people to complete (if they want to):

8 January start?
15 January start? Prettybird

Pre-Boot Camp Prettybird
Week 1 Prettybird
Week 2 Prettybird
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5
Week 6
Week 7
Week 8
Week 9
Week 10
Final weigh in

Over to you Boot Campers! Xmas Smile

ilovecherries · 15/12/2017 12:00

PrettyBird, I will help with any/all of it.

ilovecherries · 15/12/2017 12:02

For me, the earlier we start the better, so my vote would be 8th but whatever the consensus is id go for :)

ASDismynormality · 15/12/2017 12:04

I'm happy to help out any week, can slot in with everyone else. I also prefer an early start as possible!

StuntNun · 15/12/2017 13:26

PrettyBird I'm happy to help out with starting threads too.

Rshard · 15/12/2017 13:34

Thanks prettybird, I’m happy to help with anything at all. An early start works for me but will go with the majority

prettybird · 15/12/2017 13:46

Looks like we are starting on the 8th then Xmas Grin

Helps me as it means we are out of full Boot Camp by Burns Night so that I can have the raspberries in my cranachan glosses over the oats and sugar in it too Xmas Blush and the carbs in the haggis Xmas Hmm

Gammeldragz · 15/12/2017 13:46

Thanks prettybird. I'm definitely voting for starting as soon as possible!
My gain still hasn't gone so I am definitely going to need the super strict approach.
Hoping to be at goal and maintaining by Easter. 21lbs to go so realistically I will be around for at least two more bootcamps to get to goal. The new year will involve exercise somehow. Need to make the time.

Kleptronic · 15/12/2017 13:54

I'd like an early start too please!

BerylStreep · 15/12/2017 14:16

8th is good for me.

Happy to start threads for 2 weeks. Just so long as everyone doesn’t go all Lord of the Flies in BIWI’s absence!

BrassicaBabe · 15/12/2017 15:01

Lol. 8th (or 2nd) for me tooGrin

I saw 10.4 this morning! Tempted to not get on the scales again and log that!

Week 2 of C25K finished too!!

prettybird · 15/12/2017 15:12

Beryl - we just need to channel BIWI and her Big Stick Xmas Grin

Even though the person who starts the thread each week will set the tone for what Boot Campers need to be thinking/aware of that week cribbing off BIWI's old threads Xmas Wink, I'm assuming that we will all be jumping in with support and advice.

Scabbersley · 15/12/2017 15:20

8th would be good for me. Thanks pretty bird

Almahart · 15/12/2017 16:16

8th good for me!

Have an NSV - put on a favourite top I had had dry cleaned and hadn't worn for a while and it absolutely swamped me!

I am hesitant to offer to do a fortnight as I don't feel that I am experienced enough but am happy to start off the threads if that is any help at all

TimeIhadaNameChange · 15/12/2017 16:26

I'll help out with a week or two.

Saw someone I'd not seen for a while earlier this afternoon and she was amazed at how good I was looking. Mentioned her mother is doing Slimming World and all I could think was "you poor woman!".

Rshard · 15/12/2017 16:31

Nice SV brassica

Cool NSV alma and time

SoMuchToBits · 15/12/2017 17:41

8th Jan would be good for me too!

A friend of mine came round for lunch today. I made a chicken, bacon and avocado salad, and she kept saying how delicious it was! I keep forgetting how lovely the food is on this WOE, as I'm used to having good food every day now. (Friend usually has cottage cheese and Ryvita for lunch).

Gammeldragz · 15/12/2017 18:19

Food today
1:30pm protein roll, butter, bacon, mayo, cheese and lettuce.
Spoonful of peanut butter for pudding!
5:45pm - 3 medium homemade sausages with a mountain of veg (cauliflower, sprouts, carrot, mange tout, cabbage), gravy few mouthfuls of mash and several of curry batter from DH's toad in the hole
Stuffed. But at least I've had my veg and done 16:8 today.

Gammeldragz · 15/12/2017 18:20

Actually I've done 18:6!

Gammeldragz · 15/12/2017 18:20

Or 19:5?

Singadream · 15/12/2017 18:34

I’d go with the 1st! Start the year as we mean to go on...

YoLoElfSocks · 15/12/2017 20:12

Hello Y'all.

Been AWOL again as had a manic week at work. Read all the updates though.

I'm so inspired by those reaching maintenance. Bloody well done!

I'm in this for another year so count me in for bootcamp next and next and next.

Happy to help start the threads for January's bootcamp. Put me down for whatever is needed. for those who know me, I'm a happy stick wielder Grin

Thanks prettybird for getting us organised.

c4 great to hear from you. Sorry the HDU gremlin has struck again. Stay strong and get stronger. We all care. Flowers

BlackMozart · 15/12/2017 21:04

Evening all
I will be with you in the next boot camp and all year I expect. Happy to start on the 8th and i’m Intending to get serious with myself from the 2nd if I can be strong enough. My works do is 21st plus overnight and breakfast morning of 22nd so I’m staying as much on my rather bumpy path as I can until then. No wine for me until 21st!

prettybird I’m not sure I can take a particular role in the next 10 week camp as I still feel a bit like a newbie here and can never make the spreadsheet work, but I will be fully here to support and encourage over Christmas.

ilove I was really moved by what you said about taking more care of yourself these days and believing you are worth it. I have gone through too long a period of feeling ashamed and angry with myself - self-hate that is so destructive and counter-productive. This time although I am going v slowly, my attitude to myself is changing and if I can keep that up I will be forever grateful.
