Sorry for the later start than usual

Here's the Spreadsheet .

So our last two weeks - time, if you wanted, to go back to Bootcamp proper and really make sure you maximise the chances of losing another few pounds.

Good luck all Flowers

I've sussed it out my issue with the spreadsheet. This phone puts a space after a full stop which is picking up as text. I will see if I an change it.

BerylStreep · 04/12/2017 17:41

95.6 Kg, which is down from 99 when I started 2 weeks ago. People are starting to notice and saying things like I am shrinking (nice they have noticed, but 'shrinking' is over-egging it somewhat). Only one more lb (or 0.6kg) until I am in the obese BMI, rather than very obese.

B: Microwaved spinach egg and goats cheese
L: Mixed crunchy salad of celery, chopped pepper & cucumber with left over shredded duck and homemade mayo
D: Will be homemade pork meatballs with courgetti and coconut cream sauce.

Well done everyone. I'm amazed at the number of names I recognise - PrettyBird, Sayrra, BIWI of course ...

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 04/12/2017 17:53

morning all.

Weighed this morning 192.6 up a pound from yesterday but heyho.

But before I had a shower DW shouts Breakfast, dressing gown on,
1 big mug of coffee 2 egg omelet 3 rashers of back bacon.
re -weigh, 195.2

so the coffee added a fair amount and it wasn't body fat.

Don't panic about the small stuff, bouncing up and down is like your blood pressure changing consistently during the day. Look for NSVs and healthy feelings as well as the scale number.

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 04/12/2017 18:47

Day 1 of 14
How do you all feel completing day 56 of 56 yesterday?

remember no cheating on day 1 and KOKO, have fun.
An extra focus to keep the fat content up and lets whoosh down too targets.
Merry Christmas everyone.

FurryTurnip · 04/12/2017 18:50

Not checked in with food for ages so....

B: 2 boiled eggs and half a perpendicular roll
L: quorn chicken and cheese rolls ups, almonds
D: will be steamed multi veg with halloumi and chilli mayo
S: 2 pieces of dark chocolate orange. Much more carby than normal dark chocolate so must have self control!

FurryTurnip · 04/12/2017 18:50

That will be a protein roll... No idea where perpendicular came from!

Rshard · 04/12/2017 19:11

Nice message grah, everyone has done so brilliantly, so much support and advice. I can’t believe we’re in the last 2 weeks

Today’s food
B - scrambled eggs and salmon
L - tuna salad and mayo
D - cauliflower with cheese sauce made from creme fraiche and cream cheese

BrassicaBabe · 04/12/2017 19:13

L: emergency supermarket dash resulting in squid rings and tikka breast pieces
D: shallots, courgette strip sweated in butter with pesto (3.1g carb per serving. That's ok yes?) and a slug of double cream!

YoLoElfSocks · 04/12/2017 19:21

Hope life starts to give you a break soon.

I forgot to weigh again today, that's 2 weeks in a row. Will weigh tomorrow morning.

Have been good with food the past week. Not so much with water.

Grimbles · 04/12/2017 20:24

Evening all Smile. I did my first ever yogalates/core workout class yesterday. Wasn't too bad at the time but I am feeling it today!

Managed 18hrs fasting.

L. Prawns, salad and Marie rose
S. Pork Scratchings
D. Lamb, roast celeriac, asparagus.

FurryTurnip · 04/12/2017 20:38

QUICK! Someone talk me out of eating the tube of Pringles in the cupboard. I keep staring at them. I have a huge craving.

blackteaplease · 04/12/2017 20:43

Don't do it! Think of the scales!

If you need the salt can you have a bovril/oxo drink?

FurryTurnip · 04/12/2017 20:47

That's a good idea BlackTea I'll have a cup of hot marmite. Major salt craving. Thank you, just posting on here had helped as I wouldn't dare come back to admit it!

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 04/12/2017 20:59

@FurryTurnip
Smash 'em smash good .
Throw 'em out or if others sharing food menu use a salt sprinkles on their salad or crust on homemade chicken or fish fingers.
you have to have then naked.. The fingers not you.

FurryTurnip · 04/12/2017 21:09

Good tip Grah! I can possibly resist them now I've had a cup of marmite, but I shall smash them and send them to work with my DH tomorrow, what a treat!

Thanks for the support bootcampers. It just goes to show how a slightly carby night last night (chick peas and lentils) set off the massive cravings.

Almahart · 04/12/2017 21:31

Still here! STS due to boozy weekend away but had dropped two pounds during the week and am confident I'll get back there soon

No breakfast as wasn't hungry. Lunch was chicken salad, dinner sausage and egg

Am planning to KOKO as much as I can with a few mindful treats. I've no intention of undoing all my good work!

SecretSix · 04/12/2017 22:20

Joining in late as just started today, partly to lose weight but also to try and improve my digestion. Fed up with the bloating and ever gurgling insides ☺️

I’ve just weighed myself at 10st 9lb, if I could get back to 9st 7lb I’m sure I’d feel much better.

A question if that’s ok? I generally have porridge in the morning which I understand is ok, so long as you count the carbs in the total (aiming for 100g ish). How do I know how many carbs in porridge if I haven’t got the packet? Just normal jumbo oats but I buy it in sacks. What about bread? I make my own wholemeal seedy bread - how many carbs is a slice?

Thanks and well done to you all, some great success stories here!

HolgerDanske · 04/12/2017 23:31

Hi everyone,

Sorry haven’t read the thread. Will catch up soon but I’m exhausted today and really not feeling well, have a terrible earache and sore throat this week. Just wanted to quickly post my weight from this morning:

135.1

Please could someone add me to the spreadsheet?

Well done to us all! Wherever we’re at in the lc journey, whatever else is going on in our lives and whether or not the scales showed a loss today, we’re taking better care of ourselves than we used to! Onwards and downwards.

Goodnight all, bedtime for me...

SayrraT · 05/12/2017 06:54

secret welcome Grin

You should read the bootcamp rules (look at the link in the OP, rules are on one of the tabs).

Porridge is absolutely NOT OK on BC. No grains or pulses etc.

100g carbs per day is still quite a lot, we don't count carbs on BC but most of us will be on less than 50g. You should get carbs from veg (list of suitable veg on spreadsheet too). Aim for veg less than 5g carbs per 100g.

Rshard · 05/12/2017 06:57

Well done on dodging those Pringles furry! Fantastic support from grah and blacktea.

I can’t use the spreadsheet off my phone holger but I’ll check back when I’m at work

SayrraT · 05/12/2017 06:58

And secret definitely no bread! Grin

Quick list of carbs below as I suspect you aren't really sure what a carb is. None of the following can be eaten:

Bread
Pasta
Rice
Lentils
Quinoa
Oats
Potatoes
Sugar
Pastry
Cakes
Grains
Pulses
Fruit (except small number of berries)

ClearEyesFullHearts · 05/12/2017 07:00

Holger I've added your weight, are you sure it's 135.1? That an 8 lb loss in one week! Confused

Sorry to hear you're not well. Take care of yourself.

In other news, I've STS but was an absolute carb monster during past three days. Mostly planned, partly lazy as haven't got many food options in at the moment.

Need sleep, and energy!

SayrraT · 05/12/2017 07:18

Aaaaaaarrrrrgh!

Kleptronic · 05/12/2017 07:25

SayrraT you could try turning the power down?

Frigglet · 05/12/2017 07:28

Morning all. I’m still reading daily and still on BC. Firstly, well done to everyone who’s stuck with this new woe. I also cannot believe we are in week 9?

Sorry that some of us are having to deal with difficulties. Glad to hear from you C4, as you’ve been on my mind. That ‘retirement’ chestnut is so old hat and equally unconvincing. Hope things take a more positive turn for you.

I still haven’t had my second whoosh, slow and steady seems to be my fate. Still, I’ve now lost over a stone, so I’m not going to moan (too much). 😀

I have a Christmas party to go to on Saturday, so trying harder to get the high amount of fat and water in.

B - two egg omelette
L - broccoli, aubergine + corgette bake
D - mushroom omelette with spinach

Lots and lots and lots of water.
