Morning all.

It's horribly wet and windy here Darn Sarf - bit of a washout this Easter weekend.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for one last time

Not sure how many hardy souls there are left, but hopefully those of you who have stuck the course have had good results.

Once we get to the end of this week, I'll start a general chat thread so that we can carry on logging food, sharing thoughts, asking questions etc.

Not sure when the next Bootcamp will be, but we can use the next thread to keep us going until then, if you want to stay.

BusiB · 14/04/2016 20:43

Good Luck Freek

BusiB · 14/04/2016 20:43

Feek even!!

ChesterDrawers · 14/04/2016 21:20

Was dying for something sweet this evening so I grated half a square of 85% choc into some whipped double cream and added a dash of orange oil. Was lovely and would have been great if I had stopped there and not eaten the rest of the square followed by another three Blush

Still, that is my only discretion after a tricky day with DS, including a two hour monopoly game during which I wanted to cry many times and would still be going on if I had not created a few new rules which meant DS won.

Absolutely shattered but can't go to bed just yet as its not fair on the dogs. Cannot wait for DH to get back tomorrow, it has been a looooong week.

ChesterDrawers · 15/04/2016 12:02

According to my Fitbit I've done 9500 steps already today so am having a well earned sit and a cup of coffee. DS and I have been awake since before 5 after another night of broken sleep. I officially hate chicken pox!

Not eaten yet, but DS has a pal over this afternoon so hopefully I'll get chance to sort myself shortly while he is entertained.

L: chicken casserole from yesterday, bit of cheddar
D: chicken fajitas with shallot and peppers in little gem leaves, sour cream, salsa, cheddar

Going to make my own fajita spice as all the supermarket ones seemed carby. V excited as love fajitas, just hoping I will have the energy to cook come this evening. Oh and I will be having a glass of wine too, think I've earned it this week.

How's everyone else doing?

BusiB · 15/04/2016 12:13

Food sounds yumm Chester. I'm doing good, another pound off making it 3 so far. As I have eaten this way for over a year now it won't all be water but it helps to see the scales moving. Once I get back to being stricter it gets easier.

feekerry · 15/04/2016 12:20

3lbs off for me this week. Have put 2 on over last 2 weeks so net loss of 1lb. Smile

BusiB · 15/04/2016 12:52

Feek 3 off for me too this week GrinGrin

wombattoo · 15/04/2016 17:08

It's good that are some losses at this stage of the game. We should all be proud.
9500 steps is amazing Chester I think I might charge my fitbit and get back to wearing it. I used to wear it religiously and became a bit obsessive about my steps. No bad thing really.
B: Ham and mayo
L: Chicken salad with mayo
No dinner yet. Will probably have a chicken omelette and a glass of wine as bc is over.I have had loads of water today sick of going to loo

StuntNun · 16/04/2016 09:16

Massive fall off the wagon yesterday due to a combination of being ill, DH being away on business for a week and DS3 being in full on threenager mode at the min. So I had takeaway fish and chips for my lunch, enjoyed every illicit mouthful, and then got back on the wagon.

AuntieMaggie · 16/04/2016 09:51

Chester you just made me realise I haven't been checking the fajita mix carb amount! I quite enjoy them in lettuce leaves but I make a right mess!

MontserratCaballe · 16/04/2016 09:59

Good morning ladies

I hope it is all right if I join you? I have been on various bootcamp threads over the years, under a different name, and have got on very well with the WOE. However, I have lost my way over recent months and need to get back on track. I realise there isn't a new bootcamp for a few weeks, but I am going away on 15th June and really would like to kick off some weight before then.

So far, I have had 3 cups of tea and 1l of water. I am keeping a close eye on the milk as I know how carbs can creep in. Not especially hungry but will see if there is an avocado in the kitchen.

Hope everyone has a lovely day Smile

wombattoo · 16/04/2016 13:27

Hello Montserrat and welcome. There aren't many of us still left on the thread, but the more the merrier.

ShebaQueen · 16/04/2016 14:46

Hello all, I am still here but struggle to post during the week. I am maintaining at the moment after a holiday last week, but planning to revert to bootcamp lite from Monday.

Hope everyone is doing ok and nice to meet you Montserrat and BusiB. Miserable day here and lots of housework and ironing to do but am off for a mint tea first.

BIWI · 16/04/2016 16:20

Just to let you all know, I'm starting the next Bootcamp on 16 May.

feekerry · 16/04/2016 19:50

Perfect!!
B= 1 sausage and 1 bacon rasher as nothing else in house
l= 2 egg omelette
D= beef burger without bun

And some wine tonight!!

BIWI · 16/04/2016 19:58

feekerry - where is your veg?!

OP posts:
miffy49 · 17/04/2016 13:15

I don't know if it helps those who, like me, struggle to be bothered with preparing and eating veg. I do veg for the family but often can't face a big portion when I get round to eating. I make myself veg soup. You can often pick up cheap bags of ready prepared veg off the reduced shelf at thee supermarket. A pack of sliced mushrooms or a bag of broccoli and cauli florets chucked into the soup maker with a shallot, some stock and a knob of butter will make around three decent bowls. Its yummy with a blob of creme fraiche and helps keep up the veg count when you are to tired to be bothered. Comforting too. Smile

wombattoo · 17/04/2016 16:38

Thanks BIWI

feekerry · 17/04/2016 18:20

The omelette had spinich, peppers and spring onion in it so not too bad but I'm def not as good with veg at weekend than I am in the week.

After being dry for Jan and Feb and most of March I settled on 1 bottle of wine on a sat night only... Feel so rough tho the next day not sure it's worth it... Now I only drink once a week it really hits me the next day. Big decisions for me to think about x

lexloofah · 18/04/2016 08:45

Morning, well after saying last week that I was back on it, it turned out to be rather half hearted as sinus infection came back and all I wanted was hot Ribena.

Anyway fingers crossed it has gone now. Weighed in this morning and hovering very close to going up to next bracket so need to put the brakes on pronto. Need to get my head down and get to goal before summer.

chester how did your hm fajita mix turn out? That is a perfect quick lunch/dinner meal isn't it?

Lamb hotpot for us tonight to use up roast lamb and stock from the freezer while the weather is still borderline cold, roll on BBQ weather...

AuntieMaggie · 18/04/2016 12:31

Today's food:

Breakfast: Scrambled egg, avocado and left over gammon
Lunch: Broccoli, cauli and leek soup with a handful of cheddar
Dinner: Beef casserole

Does that look ok? Yesterday I had sausage and bacon (from butcher who makes lc sausages) salmon salad, roast gammon with cabbage, cauli, broccoli and cheese sauce.

I'm actually not very hungry but eating my soup as I know I will be later if I don't!

ChesterDrawers · 18/04/2016 13:10

Lex it was lovely, will post recipe on recipe thread when I get home later.

Was out for a meal on Saturday and despite choosing well, I have STS this week which I'm a bit disappointed about. I did have light Fever Tree tonic with my several gins though and I know that has carbs so wondering if that's the case. My mushroom starter seemed to have breadcrumbs on too, even though the menu just said garlic butter and cheese - grrrrrr.

Today's plan:
B: eggs, butter cream
L: Chicken skewers, avocado, salad leave, olive oil
D: chicken nuggets, swede chips, roast broccoli, HM mayo

A little tip if you're out and about, M&S have started selling little pots of pre chopped avocado for £1.50. Not an every day purchase at that price but really handy and saves faffing.

wombattoo · 18/04/2016 16:38

Auntie Your meals look lovely. Just watch you are not having processed food everyday (gammon/sausage)

B: 2 boiled eggs
L: Chicken salad with mayo
S: Pork crackling
D: Steak, mushrooms in butter, cauli
