Morning all.

It's horribly wet and windy here Darn Sarf - bit of a washout this Easter weekend.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for one last time

Not sure how many hardy souls there are left, but hopefully those of you who have stuck the course have had good results.

Once we get to the end of this week, I'll start a general chat thread so that we can carry on logging food, sharing thoughts, asking questions etc.

Not sure when the next Bootcamp will be, but we can use the next thread to keep us going until then, if you want to stay.

Yay....the scales are moving again. A pound off even though I sneeked a chocolate brownie in last night.

feekerry · 13/04/2016 12:54

Ye I got cheap one of Amazon and it's great!

BusiB · 13/04/2016 14:19

What have you been eating WandofElder* ? Maybe it would help to list it down. Could it be too much dairy, too many nuts or too much fibre?

Wand If you've increased your water, your body could just be holding that for a day to two?

B: Ham and mayo
L: chicken and boiled egg salad
D: Rib eye steak, mushrooms in butter and a fried egg
S: 2 exploded babybels
I've easily drunk my quota of water today

nekobus · 13/04/2016 17:58

Day three of being back on track and it is getting a bit easier! Definitely helps to be back at work and no longer any Easter chocs in the house.

Yesterday
B - 2 hb eggs & butter, black coffee (run out of cream!) tea with soya milk
L - egg broccoli and cheese muffins
D - steak, mushrooms, courgette, broccoli
S - 2 babybel, some ham, 85% choc
Water - 2 of my 3 litres

Today
B - 2 hb eggs & butter, BPC
L - total yog, cream, mixed berries (v small amount)
D - will be salmon fillets with green salad and lots of dressing
S - 2 babybel, choc&nut fat bomb (1g carbs) just needed a treat Blush
Water - 2L down, can fit in another before bed if my bladder will allow!!

Found the buttermint tea that was talked about on here - love it! Tastes like those sort of minty caramel sweets Smile

Wand you eat dairy butter? Sorry, confused as you said you don't eat dairyConfused

BusiB · 13/04/2016 19:12

Wand I'm dairy free and have started using CoYo plain yoghurt as a cream cheese. I add chives and garlic to it and add it to my corgetti. Very nice too.

Bad day for me. Had a filling done this morning and it's bloody sensitive now. Have had them in the past and don't remember it being this bad. Has had me reaching for the codine!!

B= (pre dentist!) scrambled eggs and butter
L= nothing as couldn't eat
D = half a piece of toast that I chewed on one side. Sad

Managed 1l of water pre dentist and sipping slowly now.
I have had a mega good week before today so hopefully all back to normal tomorrow

BusiB · 13/04/2016 21:56

Sounds like a very deep filling Shock

AuntieMaggie · 13/04/2016 23:11

Thanks for the support guys Flowers

Been back on it since Tuesday but yesterday DS came down with chicken pox so my resolve is being well and truly tested. Yesterday's food was a bit all over the place and dairy/processed heavy yet again. Very little sleep with itchy DS and DH away til Saturday but will try and stick with it.

Yesterday
B: half pot of M&s cheese and onion sandwich filler, crispy bacon strips
L: eaten over afternoon - few pork scratchings, chunk of cheese spread with butter and marmite, two squares of 85% chocolate
D: Courgetti w pesto, mushrooms, cream and cheddar
Also managed three litres of water

Today's plan:
B: Greek yog, cream
L: Aubergine, mozzerella and Tomato stack, coleslaw
D: Slow cooked chicken thighs, with tinned toms, mushroom, courgette, leek, pepper, shallot, garlic, cauli rice
Suspect I will have a few squares of choc again too.

So too much dairy again, but having to eat what I can as my shopping isn't coming til tomorrow and physically going to the shop is not an option with a spotty, grumpy, tired five year old.

Meals sound yummy Chester. Try to focus on why your doing this but if you do slip up, try and eat the food mindfullySmile
Wand why do you think you are gaining?

Wand - so you're feeling so low. That was how I felt last week. Try taking the pressure off yourself by not weighing or measuring for 2 weeks. It's easy to focus on every little fluctuation, and if you're anything like me, I get depressed and fall off.

I have started again this week. I have lost 4lbs since Monday and it has spurred me on.
Chester sound tough and do the best you can Thanks
BusiB I know you said you weren't very hungry, but there doesn't look to be much nourishment in what you ate (unless your stew was full of veg) Grin

wombattoo · 14/04/2016 17:37

It sounds tough

BusiB · 14/04/2016 17:48

Wombat mince steak stew with twelve different types of veg inc parsnips and sweet pots Grin

wombattoo · 14/04/2016 18:08

Sounds lovely Busi Apologies. Thanks

BusiB · 14/04/2016 19:26

Wand would it help to list your food down here like some of us are doing? Even if you go off track, it's just one thing so enjoy it and start again after. For me this has been pretty much my default way of eating for a few years now but I only got serious last year. I decided that I wanted to eat as healthy as I can. I do have treats but I try to keep them to a minimum. I have a thing for a black fresh coffee and a chocolate brownie together but I only have it occasionally. I do have a variety of dark chocolate that I sometimes have a square of in the evening. I occasionally do a 16:8 fast without trying as I just don't get hungry for breakfast. Does anyone else fast naturally?
