Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation.

It sounds like there might be some good results, and I'm looking forward to hearing those.

Can't do chicken, but duck scratchings sound interesting, will have to look up how to do them, thanks for the tip!

2lb down already, which is helping keep my resolve strong.

B - still shit at this bit, only a slice of cheese again.
L - fried halloumi with some cucumber and lettuce
D - mince thing on konjac "spaghetti" - the boys wanted "worms" too so we all had the konjac (otherwise they just steal it off me anyway) and DH isn't here tonight.

Still need to drink more water though. That and breakfast are real sticking points for me - my stomach just isn't awake before the school run! And I don't drink coffee anyway, so can't have a BPC as breakfast.

Must Work Harder.

LexLoofah · 22/10/2015 14:54

don't think I posted yesterday, broadband was too slow so I gave up, highlight was lunch: diced chorizo fried with garlic, shrimp & scallops over spinach & avocado with a squeeze of lemon - yum

Today we had leftover buttery mashed swede (with more butter melted on top, that stuff can soak up to it's own weight in butter I am sure of it), streaky bacon and cabbage swimming in butter with a poached egg on top with another knob of butter melted on top for good measure

D will be baked mushrooms topped with boursin on leaves with mayo and an avocado

loving the idea of profiteroles for when the time comes

desperatelyseekingamovingdate · 22/10/2015 16:19

Does anyone know how low carb the 90 sec muffin recipe on the site is? I know it has sweetener in it but might be nice for a change

Tootyfilou · 22/10/2015 16:48

Hi all, been a bit hit and miss so far.
Have lost 2ib, but on Sunday had family birthday and had to eat taster menu at indian restaurant. Then has piece of Cake on Tuseday for same birthday ( was lovely) .
I have been totally wonderful the rest if the time Smile.
Today however have woken up with stinking cold and sore throat. Forced myself to eat some eggs for breakfast(boak), no lunch, and all I feel lime now is curling up under my duvet with a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits!
I will stay srong however, as hovering on the horizon os the spectre of an awards ceremony ( I am nominated ) and the appalling realisation that I have to wear a posh frock. Finishing work a bit early now may have some purée cauliflower for dinner as that seems a bit like comfort food.

Tootyfilou · 22/10/2015 16:49

Strong !

fluffywol · 22/10/2015 16:53

Am allowed gin tonight, as its my birthday? Grin

fluffywol · 22/10/2015 17:02

Actually, I've been out all day with my DP, who has bought me a couple of pairs of new jeans in a size smaller than I'm wearing atm! I'm sure you can imagine how thrilled I am that they fit.

I've been good today so far; had pork scratchings for breakfast and edamame beans for lunch, which were ready cooked from Boots. Not the lowest of carbs, I know, but perfect for on the go meals. For tonight, we're treating ourselves to a duck crown with asparagus, mangetout and Aunt Bessie's frozen mashed carrot and swede, which, as a heads up, is only 3.5g of carbs per 100g. So quick and convenient. Plus I'll be having gin and slim-line tonic Wink

StoneFoxMama · 22/10/2015 17:08

Happy Birthday fluffywol gingingin

For those who were looking for constipation busters, I've forgotten my run in with the large bar of boots diabetic choc with hazelnuts. To be fair I ate the whole bar over the course of a day and it had the same effect that I suspect the sugar free toffees had.

regenerationfez · 22/10/2015 17:14

I'vebbeen rubbish today. Had a terrible nights sleep, then for breakfast had about 10 cups of coffee, went to a meeting where I had to let someone down, hence the poor nights sleep and had a crumpet because I was so tired and stressed. For lunch had leftover salmon and stir fried veg, then while making kids tea, absent mindedly ate some grapes Shock Went back to bed after lunch too, so am down on my water.

I don'tknow what I'm doing. I'm not even craving carbs or fruit and I'm not hungry, in fact I'm quite enjoying this woe, but I'm sabotaging myself through bad planning and laziness! I'm really annoyed with myself!

regenerationfez · 22/10/2015 17:16

Happy birthday fluffy Have a slice of virtual carb free Cake

ijustwanttobeme · 22/10/2015 17:49

Haven't posted since Monday, but have been good most of the time.

Today breakfast was a baby bel and a coffee. I bought ham and leerdammer cheese slices on way into work and was meant to make 'wrappy type' thing. Too busy from the off, so didn't happen.
Lunch was better - chicke, chorizo and avocado salad. Yummy.
Dinner will be either park belly and vege stir fry or tandoori chicken

BestIsWest · 22/10/2015 19:27

Good day today.

B- eggs and butter again
L chicken thigh salad with olive oil dressing
D will be gammon, eggs, mushrooms cooked in butter.

Going out tomorrow night with a crowd of old friends, some of whom I haven't seen for a few years. Restaurant is Turkish and the menu is perfect for low carbing but it is also BYO and the wine will be flowing. I really don't want to sabotage myself so I was wondering what I can take as an alternative.

AStoneBeforeChristmas · 22/10/2015 19:49

B. Ff Greek yogurt with a swirl of cream
L. Sausage, bacon and eggs
D. Chilli with broccoli, leeks and cheese

Lots and lots of water!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 22/10/2015 19:56

B: Greek yoghurt with double cream
L: M&S prawn cocktail dippers, salad, M&S Mexican chicken dippers (3g carbs), Lidl fat sausage. Blush That was quite a lot! Oh, and a dollop of Tesco Extra Thick Double Cream.
D: Chicken coconut soup (featured red pepper, cabbage, mushrooms, garlic and tiny bit of onion, chilli, veg stock, coconut milk and lime juice)

2 cups of tea. Struggling to get the water drunk today because I hadn't drunk much before 2pm. Glugging away now but my tummy feels like it might burst.

ijustwanttobeme · 22/10/2015 20:36

Have joined a gym near my work. It's on the way to/from the station so have no excuse.

Dinner was in fact, two tandoori chicken thighs, two pork belly slices, plus spinach and broccoli.

ChesterDrawers · 22/10/2015 20:49

So tired today after DS was up three times in the night for various pointless things. Why does he always sleep so badly when DH is away? answers own question

But I stuck with it, despite knackeredness:
B: bit of total and double cream
L: ricotta and chorizo bites x3
D: weird concoction of courgetti and mushrooms with M&s hot smoked salmon, cream, cheddar and Parmesan - actually quite tasty

So much dairy yet again, but three actual meals so I am focussing on that. If and when I stall I can reassess and hopefully by then I will be back to maximim appetite and normal meals.

BIWI · 22/10/2015 20:51

So this evening I am wishing you all 'au revoir'. Tomorrow I'm off to Barbados for a week. Grin

Sadly, the trying on of clothes session this afternoon revealed that I should have started Bootcamp about a million years ago Blush

However, it is what it is, as they say.

Sayrra is very kindly going to start next week's chat thread, and then I'll be back next Friday.

(I will have my iPad and should have wifi, but just in case ...)

Back home now after two nights away in a hotel for work. So nice to be home with easy access to all my LC goodies. Am glugging lots of water now as cut back a bit this afternoon in readiness for long train journey home, I hate using train toilets!

BestIsWest, you're right re Turkish restaurants, they are great for lots of LC choices. Could you take a large bottle of sparkling water and add ice, some slices of cucumber and mint leaves to make it look more "special"? Not very exciting I know, but it will be so worth it when you step on the scales on Monday morning Smile

ShebaQueen · 22/10/2015 20:54

Wow BIWI, hope you have a fabulous time!

ChesterDrawers · 22/10/2015 20:58

Wow BIWI, have an amazing time!

Not jealous at all, no, not I.

BestIsWest · 22/10/2015 21:30

That's an idea Sheba, You're right. The scales were good to me this morning so I don't want that to change, at least not upwards.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 22/10/2015 21:36

Have a great time, BIWI!

Billionnairewannabe · 22/10/2015 21:42

Have a fab time BIWI - we went there in the summer love Barbados!

B - 2 boiled eggs with butter, 2 cherry toms & cucumber (yay green for beast) coffee with cream
L - prawn, crayfish & avocado salad
D - pork chop with green beans & aubergine fried in butter

Trying to prepare for BCLite - nuts & berries is that the additions?

Billionnairewannabe · 22/10/2015 21:43

Beast? Breakfast Hmm

fluffywol · 22/10/2015 22:02

Hope you have a wonderful time BIWI.
