Morning all!

Here, for the last time this Bootcamp is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Hopefully the scales will be kind to you for our last weigh-in!

For those of you that are still here - even you lurking at the back! - it would be great to hear how much you've lost this Bootcamp.

And also, we'll keep this thread going for chat - when it fills up I'll start another general low carb chat thread.

Evening all, just checking in, this thread is keeping me going between bootcamps.

The menu for Bodeans has lots of delicious choices whiter, but as you say, most things seem to have sauce or marinade, no doubt full of sugar. Could you maybe go for the swordfish without the salsa etc., just a side salad?

I'm 0.5 of a kilo down today which I am so pleased about. This is the lightest I've been in 10 years and everyone has noticed! I am so grateful to Biwi and everyone else for the recipes, hints etc.

I just had a stupidly first world low carb disaster. Ocado delivery is due tomorrow and I just noticed that I have ordered total 0% fat yogurt, instead of the full fat stuff - grrr!

Slightly embarrassed that this bothers me enough that I feel the need to post!

BIWI · 08/09/2015 08:05

Easily rectified lisa - buy some double cream and mix it in with the yoghurt

Ah thanks BIWI - hadn't even thought of doing something like that! Double cream definitely on the shopping list for later!

BIWI · 08/09/2015 11:39

If you get the extra thick cream it's even more delicious!

Hi Its a year since I last joined in the LC bootcamp (and got back to my pre-kids weight) but I have recently erred away from the LC WOE due to struggling on holiday- Ok I've been backsliding for a couple of months- and have put on a little weight - which shows on my petite frame (and my clothes are tighter). Its got to come Off again! Should I go back to very low carb like the first 2 weeks of boot camp or do I just need to do boot camp light to get the weight off? Will my body have given up processing fats for energy already? Thanks in advance.

BIWI · 12/09/2015 10:48

I don't think anyone can answer that for sure, maggiso - why not just try a couple of days of Bootcamp, so that you can get your head back into it - and then Bootcamp Light and see what happens?

Thank you BIWI! I'll do that then, -but starting on Monday as I have a family celebration tomorrow.

Suzymoo9 · 19/09/2015 20:04

Is there going to be a new bootcamp soon? I abandoned the last one due to a family bereavement and just couldn't manage to keep at it. My weight is creeping up again and I need some group discipline!
Thanks.

BIWI · 19/09/2015 20:58

12 October, Suzy. Sorry to hear about your bereavement Flowers

Can't wait for the next BC.
I have been doing really well, and am back to the weight I was at the end of last BC finally. Yesterday I had a horrific incident with carbs that I won't go into, suffice it to say I would put myself in a situation where I can't eat all day because I prioritise catching up on sleep over prepping some LC meals in advance when I know full well there will be nothing suitable to eat. Sigh.

I have been struggling with water intake, but only because it's so difficult for me to get to the toilet 1k times a day Grin I'm going to Paris just after the next BC starts and I don't know if it's better to give myself the weekend off whilst I'm there or start BC later?
I suppose if I start BC with everyone else that's 4 days of BC that I won't be missing, and it's not much that I have to cut for that anyway.

BIWI · 23/09/2015 14:06

Hmm. Paris is a difficult one! Depending on where you're staying, avoiding carbs at breakfast can be pretty difficult - most hotels seem to just offer croissant, pain au chocolat or baguette with jam!

I'm up for bootcamp, if you have another! I,m a bit bootcamp lite at the moment, restarting after falling off the Lchf wagon.
