Well done, Pisses!

Take heart, Alma. I am also almost two pounds up from Friday morning, and I didn't even have a slack day! I know logically that there's no way it can be two pounds of fat, but I hate seeing the scales inch up. I find that sometimes my weight increases by a couple of pounds overnight, but it seems to take days for it to drop back down. Very irritating.

Gcalgske · 22/03/2015 09:20

Yummy food day lex I now want scallops and steak.

Gcalgske · 22/03/2015 09:24

I added the crackers to the recipe thread last night. They are a bit of a faff, my best investment ever was two silicon baking sheets. I make the dough then roll out thin on one sheet with the other on the top (sandwiched between the two) then score and transfer to the oven. I don't bother cutting them out anymore as the most likely break in transfer. Life is too short Grin
They are good with tuna mayo for a quick lunch.

I must sit down and read the whole thread, but is anyone here vegetarian? I am reading a lot about low carb but would like to find a week's plan to see how it would work.

BIWI · 22/03/2015 15:57

Rose Elliott has written a vegetarian low carb cookbook, and she has a vegetarian low carb plan as well - might be worth checking that out? There are also lots of veggie recipes on the bootcamp recipe thread

Thanks BIWI - I have ordered that book. Is the meal plan in it? I will have a look at the recipe thread, thanks.

BIWI · 22/03/2015 16:09

I'm not sure if there's a meal plan in it - I've only got the recipe book I'm afraid!

Popped to mums for the weekend, all had fun with kids and cousins. Just for interest I used her scales, I was nearly a whole stone less!!!
Unfortunately, hers were wrong - not mine as I had checked at boots during the week.Sad

I DO not think my mother was a happy bunny when I told her this though. GrinGrin

Fatstacks · 22/03/2015 19:08

Ah I used to love the docs scales Blonde they hadn't been calibrated since decimalisation and weighed very light Wink

Gcalgske · 22/03/2015 19:44

Breakfast was coconut / flax 'yoghurt' with coffee. Lunch was courgette risotto made with the courgette soup from yesterday and cauli rice. Topped with ham hock and feta.
Dinner was neep chips (swede) and a 2 egg / almond milk omelette with hot smoked salmon, shallot and feta. Yummy food day!

StuntNun · 22/03/2015 20:20

lbnblbnb one change some vegetarians make to low carb plans is to include pulses, Quorn and tofu.

lbnblbnb · 22/03/2015 21:38

Thanks StuntNun, that sounds more doable.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 22/03/2015 22:10

I am being very good and comfort eating some sausages and cauli mash. It is not a good subsitute for wanting to inflict pain and suffering on the fuckwit ex, nor chocolate but I do need tea and I will be damned if the twat will drive me to self sabotage. Angry

LexLoofah · 23/03/2015 01:30

gcal right back at you, your food today sounds yummy, now if only we could open lc cafe or develop lc range for M&S or something ......

B baked spinach and eggs with cream & Gruyere, 2 cups of builders tea
L cauli grilled cheese, super, kids loved them. Used boiled mashed and squeezed cauli instead of blitzed and steamed worked out fine, think I will do this for the cauli pizzas too as a bit easier and less messy. Great if you don't have a food processor.
D- HOLY PORK CARNITAS!!!!!!! Thanks lurking think you posted about these weeks ago, just got round to doing them. OMG So good and so easy, yay for bootcamp as would never have known about these otherwise. Did with cucumber ribbons in yogurt dressing and hm guacamole.

almahart · 23/03/2015 08:15

I've downloaded the Paul McKenna I can make you thin app, as I am still snacking while I cook and will very easily slip into eating children's life ft overseas again once I am back on carbs. Hit 10'7 this week (for a day) am now back up yet nearly 10'9 AGAIN! Still I have lost 16ibs since boot camp started. I have been carrying these last few ibs a long time

Birdinacage · 23/03/2015 09:14

Morning everyone, haven't had a chance to weigh in today and had a coffee now so will do it tomorrow. I'm planning on ordering some kettle bells to use at home as there are no classes or decent gym near me but I want to try a bit of weight training alongside the treadmill to help tone up, I know there are a few people on here who use them so would be interested in any recommendations on weight/brand etc.

Had a weekend off this week as there was a significant family birthday celebration, back on it this week with a few days dairy free Smile

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 23/03/2015 09:24

Oo, i can have pulses if veggie, can i? Well that makes next week at my sisters a hell of a lot easier :)

BIWI · 23/03/2015 10:26
