Oh, and a daily avocado and some hm mayo

Mrsstevejones · 21/03/2015 14:18

Yay well done pisses, that some achievement! I cant run for more than 2 mins so 2 hrs blows my little mind!!!

almahart · 21/03/2015 15:45

Great thanks everyone. I am hoping that coconut milk and flax seeds will satisfy my porridge cravings and am considering some flax bread to easeou t of BC.

Was at a do today and had some posh scotch eggs and crayfish with Marie Rose sauce. Neither v bootcamp. Also a glass of elderflower and mint.
And finally, later on, a cup of tea with real milk!

Am considering sticking with BC for a bit longer but on a sort of 80/20 rule combined with some intermittent fasting. Was half a pound over my target weight this morning (though I'm sure I'll be up again tomorrow) but in reality i need to lose another 5 pounds or so

CharlieSierra · 21/03/2015 16:35

Well my Zizzi's chicken salad was crap, hardly any chicken, prosciutto or avocado, a ton of leaves, I was hungry and it was hard surrounded by carbivores scoffing pizza, pasta and deep fried things Sad.

I'm having some chicken tikka and roasted spiced cauliflower for dinner and when Ocado arrives there will be some of that low carb carrot cake ice cream, which I will try for research purposes and report back.

Pisses well done!

Gcalgske · 21/03/2015 16:43

Anyone tried muscle foods? I was skeptical but allowed myself to be convinced.
Just placed an order for the steak pack, supposedly £50+ of grass fed steak on special offer for £19 plus delivery. If you want to try them can you use this code please? I get some points for referring you/ you get half a kilo of free chicken.

I'm not a big fan of zizis even when eating carbs tbh. I had a good meal at carluccios last time we went out to eat charlie - they do courgettes fried in butter as a side dish so I had steak with those instead of potatoes. Was lovely.

Romeyroo · 21/03/2015 16:52

certainly not a figure skater who needs to practice routines, I can't do anything more complicated than skate backwards on one leg; and our rink is a hockey team rink and I even wear hockey boots to skate (but not backwards on one leg usually)

I am jealous of people who have a rink open all year though, I would need to drive an hour.

Have I completely compromised my femininity now?

Well done pisses

CharlieSierra · 21/03/2015 17:31

I shouldn't moan, it was mainly about meeting up with the girls and my baby grandson - who happily scoffed all the avocado from my salad and the butternut squash from his mother's Grin.

StuntNun · 21/03/2015 18:06

Well done Pisses what an achievement. How are you going to celebrate your half-marathon?

Pisseslikeahorse · 21/03/2015 18:16

hello all... thanks Flowers
I've just had a curry and a couple of dark Irish energy drinks Grin whilst watching the rugby. But still have some topping up to do as I lost allot of water in the run (2kg) and everything still a bit dark after 8pints of water, and I burnt over 2200cals.

SayraT · 21/03/2015 18:17

pisses fantastic Grin

Well done!

Fatstacks · 21/03/2015 18:26

Well done Pisses Wine
You've inspired me to try and move to week 2 of c25k I've been doing week 1 for 11 weeks Grin

BIWI · 21/03/2015 19:09

Grin @ Irish energy drinks!!!

I really need to get back into my running. My trainer offered to start our session tomorrow with a run and I have had to decline his offer Grin

Nothing wrong with wearing hockey boots Romey Grin and shame you don't have the luxury of a rink that is open all year round :( an hour plus drive is pretty typical for a lot of skaters though. It can be frustrating if you just want to potter about for an hour or so. Probably a good job that you are not a figure skating It is all getting messy in the figure skating world atm. Politics can spoil most sports. Hopefully it will get sorted soon. Btw being able to skate backwards on one leg is a very important skill it is the foundation for so much.

trashcanjunkie · 21/03/2015 20:20

Aaaaaah pisses I nearly had a little cry on your behalf! Your happy face is sooooo canny. What a terrific achievement. And check out the six pack!!!

I have the grumps today. Bad nights sleep due to anxious puppy we have for the weekend. I do not love jack Russell pups Angry

Romeyroo · 21/03/2015 20:43

I know Bitchy, but I am a single parent with two DC and alternate Saturdays is all the time I have as I also work FT so driving an hour plus would not work. I actually love skating and hoping to get back to lessons next year. I am really pleased DD has learned but she was not up for doing more lessons. She likes the time to skate round and chat, tbh, and occasionally practices a bit of a routine, but it is more mum/daughter time. It is the only time we have without DS, lovely as he is.

I am not cut out to be competitive sport anything, both temperament wise and certainly not politics-wise. But when I split up from XH, I set myself the challenge of learning to skate properly. This year I can't fit the lessons in so it is more about exercise than anything else atm. Maybe pottering but quite fast potteringSmile. I enjoy the banter with the regulars who are all hockey blokes, but they have a different skating style.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 21/03/2015 21:18

Practicalities are sometimes the case, which is a shame but just a fact of life. Glad it is something you are having fun with and I hope you are continue to enjoy as and when you get chance to have lessons. Hockey boys are an interesting bunch interesting reputations too Fast pottering is actually good toning exercise Wink

Romeyroo · 21/03/2015 21:44

Oh, no need to worry about their reputation, bitchy, they just make sure we are okay and chat a bit occassionally speed up behind and try to give us a fright, DD usually obliges

Well, I was kind of hoping fast pottering would help with the top of my thighs. Whoever said up thread that they were losing more from the top half of their body, I am in the same position and no time to get to the gym.

On the earlier flaxseed topic, gcalske, none in the biggest Lidl we have, just linseed with stuff added and sold as a cereal topper. Still, I came out with lots of other BC friendly stuff.

Hope everyone is fine Flowers

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 21/03/2015 21:55

Well you never see a skater with a saggy ass! Grin

Romeyroo · 21/03/2015 22:06

Haha, will keep on with the fast pottering then Grin

Gcalgske · 21/03/2015 22:18

I was just in this afternoon Romey an the packet is different- maybe they've stopped the plain. Pants. Aldi definitely have (I went there to get instead)

Gcalgske · 21/03/2015 22:20

Dinner was low carb sausages with swede chips and spinach in coconut oil and butter.

Gcalgske · 22/03/2015 00:09

Anyone made flax crackers? I need to make a batch soon. Perfect with Stilton not that I'm eating cheese on BC or lashings of butter.

LexLoofah · 22/03/2015 01:42

pisses brilliant! Just showed my DH, doubt he will ever be a runner but he was spurred on by your weight loss and transformation, that is fantastic.

gcal mmm ham off the bone, sounds lovely

We had scallops and shrimp In Garlic butter over watercress for lunch, very satisfying

Took DCs to watch Cinderella this afternoon, gorgeous sets and clothes but not sure who it was aimed at as they were bored and tbh so was I really. Not tempted when I took them out for dinner or gelato afterwards. Still cannot quite believe I can do that now.

sirloin steak, garlic butter, kale, mushrooms, buttery cauli for dinner

almahart · 22/03/2015 08:06

Flax crackers Shock. Are they on the recipe thread?

Am up two pounds after my slack day yesterday
