I wouldnt stress about it too much, i think i take all of the dodgy meds now (having just started my daily antihistamines again!) and i'm still losing consistantly :)

Starting to plan for the weekend here... DH is having the snip on friday so wont be able to do much

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 10/03/2015 09:48

I am not stressing just I am allergic to aspirin so ibuprofen is an absolute last resort and it induces funky reactions Hmm Still does help with the good night's sleep aspect Blush

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 10/03/2015 09:59

Ahh see, i thought y meant you were Hmm cause its one of the drugs that can affect weightloss... Blush

I'm oversensitive to ibuprofen too (and my nan was allergic to aspirin so wonder if i got it from her?), never fails to induce gastritis, but i can take naproxen fine. Have you tried that?

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 10/03/2015 10:12

It lows my blood pressure too much so it makes me faint, the rule is not during the day and not when I have to drive the next day. Although the fainting/dizziness has definitely improved greatly with this woe. Grin seriously if i ever end up blogging people will be sick of the this is a great woe because kinda attitude WinkGrin

lurkingmurking · 10/03/2015 10:33

Morning all. Just checking in. Determined to have a really good day again. Food order coming tonight with lots of good stuff.

sassandfaff · 10/03/2015 10:35

Have a great birthday mrss

sassandfaff · 10/03/2015 10:58

beyond I take a cetirizine hydrochloride tablet everyday and it doesn't stop me losing either.
I have read it can.

Typical, I was 13,8 on sun, 13,9 on weigh in day (Mon) and i'm 13,8 again today. Grrrr.

Mon is not a good day for my weigh ins!

Gcalgske · 10/03/2015 11:30

The 110kg has stuck so I've lost 5kg since starting bc (wk4 I think?). Not great but not bad. Confused

CharlieSierra · 10/03/2015 12:37

Hello all, I've finally woken up feeling significantly better today, thank goodness. I'm a bit behind though, so congrats on all the losses and Flowers to all those struggling one way or another.

Today:

B - 2 x filter coffee with a dash of cream
S - half a (small) pot of total ff yogurt with vanilla powder and a few berries
L - green salad, left over roast guinea fowl, large dollop hm mayo
D - will be skin on chicken breast dusted with mustard & tarragon and fried in butter, with mixed greens (leek, kale, broccoli)

I'm drinking my water and will have a cup of tea with almond milk this afternoon and maybe a gingerbread tea

Fatstacks · 10/03/2015 12:40

Enjoy your birthday trip MrsS the rest of the struff will still be there when you get back so a day off from it will only help you attack it better. Smile

I'm out gardening Bitchy and will inevitably injure or sprain something.
I avoid exercise classes purely to spare others.
I've done yoga it looked more like break dancing, and aerobics Confused my grapevine looks like MJ recovering from a hip operation Sad

PeachyParisian · 10/03/2015 12:47

Can I join? I've been meaning to LC for ages and keep making excuses, I don't want to wait another 3 weeks Smile LCd before about a year ago and lost a lot in the first few weeks, felt fantastic etc but fell off the wagon and never got back on. Emigrated at the end of last year and managed to gain 14kgs! I have about 46kgs to lose in total Blush

Gcalgske · 10/03/2015 13:21

Welcome peachy nice to meet another lady with a bit more to lose. Lovely ladies all but nice to have someone to commiserate with and encourage in the same or similar boat.

LexLoofah · 10/03/2015 13:27

Happy B Day mrssteve

welcome peachy where did you emigrate to? when we moved abroad we convinced ourselves it was so hot we would live off salads, go swimming everyday blah blah blah and of course ended up putting on lbs and lbs as we ate all the same things as before and moved much less so can sympathise there

Gcalgske · 10/03/2015 13:30

I restarted low carb post Christmas (before finding BC) at my heaviest 120kg, lost 5kg immediately but then totally stalled until a 5kg recent loss. Realistically would like to lose enough to get surgery I need (another 20kg) but aiming for 30kg off which will be my curvy bombshell pre baby weight but should probably be aiming nearer the high 40kgs too. X

PeachyParisian · 10/03/2015 13:51

Moved back to the UK after a few years away. I think a combination of Christmas and driving everywhere rather than walking 1-2 hours every day is what did it. That, and my crippling dependence on sugar Blush going to try and make an effort to walk more now we've moved within walking distance of the train station and finally unpack the dvd cable so I can do 30 day shred. I just end up in a cycle of eating shit, feeling terrible for doing so and then eating ice cream to make myself feel better!

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 10/03/2015 14:32

Fatstacks you made me smile. I was learning something new in training, got so surprised I was actually doing it I promptly ko'd myself. HmmGrin The bruising is disappointing though. I am my own worst enemy though. But I am finding a balance energy wise and it is the sort of sport where progress is measured in bruised earnt. So it will be another week another oopsies. Grin love it to bits though and glad to be back doing it even if it is once a month only.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 10/03/2015 14:55

Sorry mrsS, i missed that its your birthday Blush
Happy birthday!! Flowers Wine

LexLoofah · 10/03/2015 15:34

peachy we are moving back this year, looking forward to actually being able to walk to station/shops/park etc - hope my new low carb lifestyle will be coming with me. Totally hear you on the sugar, used to think I was dependent too but seem to have broken the habit or at least it is nowhere near as bad as it once was, you have done it before you can do it again!

lurkingmurking · 10/03/2015 16:42

Happy Birthday Mrss!! Flowers

DrDiva · 10/03/2015 17:26

Happy birthday mrss ! Have a lovely day.

LexLoofah · 10/03/2015 18:00

B - 2 streaky bacon, 2 fried eggs

Loads of fat came out of the bacon so I poured it into a jar - can I use this for frying and roasting? Can I keep on adding more fat to the jar or is that just gross?

L - roasted courgettes, aubergines, shallot, lettuce, serrano ham, bit of boursin. Will probably have a sq of dark choc this afternoon

D - will be something with steak mince as that is what is defrosting in the fridge and DH is cooking. Likely to be meatballs or sheppers pie

readyforno2 · 10/03/2015 18:28

I'm such an idiot!
Tried to say my piece yesterday but I usually use the app and when you click on the link it takes you onto safari. Anyway, for some reason I've been signed out on the safari and can't remember my password Blush so it's taken me till now to find the thread using the app.

Will have a proper read through the thread tonight and add weight in the morning, although I suspect a small gain as I had a couple of cocktails at the weekend.

Happy Birthday Mrss! Thanks

Food yesterday
B - scrambled eggs
L - broc and cauliflower soup with crispy bacon and a splash of double cream
D - chicken stir fry with lc noodles

Loads of water, it's so much easier when I'm at work

Today
B - scrambled eggs
L - chicken stir fry
D - carbonara made with zero pasta, it was ok but a bit of a strange texture not unlike the noodles actually.

I'm struggling a bit atm. Totm so craving everything I shouldn't, hence the pasta/noodle substitutions..

Sorry about the essay. Feels like I haven't posted for ages!

Fatstacks · 10/03/2015 18:40

Lex that's not gross it's dripping!
I used to love dripping especially the black jelly. Blush

Can't think what you could spread it on but it will make everything you fry in it awesome.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 10/03/2015 18:46

Make it into baconnaise?

Romeyroo · 10/03/2015 18:48

Gcalszke, a 5kg loss in four weeks is fantastic though, that is more than I have managed in the whole BC.

Happy Birthday MrsS, I agree things will still be there when you get back and you will also be refreshed to tackle itSmile

Not feeling I am doing well, though TOTM may be due, I am in abdominal pain and tired and feel bigger today

B coconut milk and flaxseed mix
L chicken and baked courgette (made it for dinner last night but was not hungry)
D will be veg lasagne

I have had a square of 85% dark chocolate over the day as well. Not feeling the joys of spring yet though it was a gorgeous day here.
