You can definitely do it Sass. When i started BC i was 13st 9 and am now 12st 11. I was so happy when i got into the 12st weight. I am hoping to lose 2 more lb by the end of BC. That would mean i have lost a stone and that i am at my pre baby weight. However, i am going to carry on and try to lose 7-9 more lb as that will be my 'when i met DH, peak of my attractiveness' weight. I am 5ft 10in. I think the last half stone will be hard tho, as i will be technically in my 'healthy' weight for my height range.

CharlieSierra · 09/03/2015 12:30

2lb off for me - so 8 in total this bc - not bad but could do better! I'm a bit concerned at sts for 3 weeks and then only losing again after being really ill and not eating that well, hope I don't find it goes back on as my appetite returns.

vdibley · 09/03/2015 12:47

I went AWOL there for a fortnight, bloody stupid, but sort of back to where I was at end of week 5. Strangely it was getting out of maternity jeans and into normal ones that did it. I looked much better than I had for ages, but also realised I still had a long way to go.
Changing room mirror=not my friend
On top of that, my youngest is nearly 8 months and I've reached that period of deep and inescapable tiredness that hits, just before you think "fuck this!" and finally move them out of your bedroom. Just need to find the strength to do the first night...
Anyway, I hope you're all well, I've managed to catch up on most of last thread and I'm really excited by everyone's losses and motivational photos.
I love an imminent deadline, so here's hoping I can shift some lbs in the next 2 weeks before my birthday blowout Grin

SayraT · 09/03/2015 12:47

Hello all, I'm here but no internet at home so sneaking on at work.

Was at a wedding at weekend, good fun.

Sorry, won't be able to do spreadsheet things until I've got internet back.

vdibley · 09/03/2015 12:51

TOP TIP: A box grater on its side makes damn good courgetti (if you grate them lengthways)

imustbepatient · 09/03/2015 12:52

Two pounds off! Woohoo, hurrah and at bloody last!

That makes it 5 pounds so far for this BC. I'm hoping for a few more by the end of BC but also plan to keep BCing after the 10 weeks, as it feels like it has taken my body a long time to get in the right zone. I really want to keep going now that I feel like I am burning fat properly (God I hope so).

I read Gary Taubes' "Why we get fat and what to do about it" over the weekend. Such an excellent book and just what's needed to keep the focus on this WOE. I have to stop myself getting angry about how we have been lied to by all the health authorities all these years and how different my body would be if I'd known the science behind this WOE years ago.

I am making DH read the book too so that I can actually talk properly to him about weight / exercise / diet fallacies / genetic predisposition etc. Not least so that we can do our joint best for getting our DDs to develop good eating patterns right from the get go. I would do anything to save them from the pains of dieting and lack of body esteem I have had. Esp if they have my genes (pretty susceptible to getting fat) rather than my DH's (naturally athletic and lean)...

Well done to everyone who has lost, or has renewed focus after a hard week, or is KOKO - in fact well done everyone just for being here!

(and Charlie Flowers for the TOTM horrors)

imustbepatient · 09/03/2015 12:56

Sorry I meant Flowers for Chester not Charlie re the TOTM! But Charlie have some Flowers anyway!

Amaxapax · 09/03/2015 13:02

Eleven stone is my dream weight. I was 11.13 when I did WW, but I've never been able to get below that.

After my holiday, I intend to lose whatever I've gained and then keep going for as long as possible, interrupted only by pregnancy, I hope!

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 09/03/2015 13:06

Lunch break, just checking in.

My dream weight has always been 10.13. Never got anywhere near though, dont think i have a chance in hell Grin

Thumbwitch · 09/03/2015 13:20

Today was a betterish day than the weekend but still not 100%.
HOwever, all the chocolate has now gone (apart from that for my sister, which is Untouchable) so bonus.

I'm still making sure my meals are proper low carb; just need to stop the in betweenies.

B - small slice of cheese and a couple of cucumber slices (feeble, I know)
L - not much better
D - homemade turkey burgers with finely minced courgette, a tiny onion, half a boursin cheese (small one), an oz or so of milled flax seed and the same again of almond flour, seasoning and an egg all mixed together. Yummy! With salad. Rest of them had potato salad too, I didn't.
Snack - fried-in-butter halloumi, half of one.

Need to get back into drinking more water too.

Pisseslikeahorse · 09/03/2015 13:38

good weekend i'm now only 4lb off my goal - then pictures bragging and maintenance proper Grin

sassandfaff · 09/03/2015 13:49

Before and after pisses ? That would be the height of motivational, going off the graph you showed us. Smile

amax we can do it. I've just calculated that 13.9 to 11 is 37lb. At 1lb a week, that would take us to Monday 30th Nov. (I may have miscalculated, cos I did it quick)

Shall we have that as our goal? You, mrss and myself? (And anyone else who is hovering close to 13,9 obviously)

It would be perfect for me, just in time to start new year all sparkly and new.

LexLoofah · 09/03/2015 13:54

Thanks for the lovely comments on my pics although anyone looks better in natural light with a bit of a tan and the sea in the background Smile

sass updated the sheet for you

STS this week, bit gutted seeing as I did 5 days without dairy except one cup of tea a day and watched portion size at dinner time. Total of 7lbs off so far though so averaging 1lb a week, 2lb would be nicer though but still I am enjoying it and apart from the lack of dairy am not feeling deprived. Adding it back in today but will try to keep it to a minimum.

Just been invited to a wedding in August, 23 weeks away so at current average allowing for the odd blip over say Easter could be 20lbs less by then which would be fantastic so now have a goal to aim for

sassandfaff · 09/03/2015 13:54

Just counted again and got 23rd Nov. But I prefer the 30th Nov. One day before party season seems more apt. And it will give us an extra week.

Plus if any of us don't quite make it, we have technically a month before Jan 1st, to really reach it. Wink

sassandfaff · 09/03/2015 13:55

Thank you lex

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 09/03/2015 14:14

I've had a 3lb woosh this morning but fell off the wagon with a thump yesterday afternoon so I imagine it will NOT be that in the morning. I don't care, that's what it says today and that's what I'm taking!!!
When I do have a slip up, I remember how much I like this woe.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 09/03/2015 14:35

That is really interesting Romey never considered that the dust allergy and hayfever I get is part of the same picture. Will look that all up tonight/tomo. I am in a proper grumpy funk kinda mood. 3 cups of coffee to get me going is the norm. I can drink less but if I need coffee I need coffee. It has been a just back away slowly from me kinda day. PMS without the pms iyswim. It is evil. Not sleeping properly has not helped. the cooker is dying and the tumbler dryer sounds like it is trying to drill itself out of the house. is it bedtime yet? Can I just get a start over? Pretty please?

Birdinacage · 09/03/2015 14:41

1lbs down again this week although was 2lbs up on last weeks weigh in midweek so it feels like 3lbs haha. 2lbs left to shift with just over a week to do it for my next mini goal, fingers crossed.

Had a bit of a busy weekend buying and putting up curtains to stop the nosey neighbours peering in at us as they walk past to work next door, hard work but it's nice to finally have some privacy and be able to use the living room without feeling under constant observation lol. Spent the morning trying to fix the washing machine which died on me yesterday too so a bit hectic here at the mo. I found a tiny sock stuck in the filter when I unscrewed it which was stopping the machine from draining, after much flooding of the kitchen and soaking of pretty much every towel in the house it seems to be sorted now I hope.

Congrats to everyone who's had a whoosh or a loss, comsierations to those who have STS or gained Flowers

Birdinacage · 09/03/2015 14:41

*commiserations even, stupid phone.

Notagainmun · 09/03/2015 16:33

Down 2.2 lbs this week and a total of 15.6 this boot camp. Very pleased with myself and people are starting to notice. Reading these post is so helpful I don't feel I am alone in this.

Going away next weekend with friends for a city break. I am a bit concerned but as I have a holiday in May will be right back to it, if I fall of the wagon for a momment.

DrDiva · 09/03/2015 16:38

Breakfast was a coffee and a strawberry nut bar and that is all I have has today Angry . I left both lunch and wallet at home.

Wow to all the pics! Thanks

I need to drink more. Hardly drank anything today as in posh interviews that don't allow for glugging. And am really bad at drinking when am running round after the loon the toddler. One of those backpacks with a straw maybe?

BerylStreep · 09/03/2015 17:05

Hello all. Just checking. 1 lb on. Not particularly surprised.

C'est la vie. Will buckle down for this week.

Amaxapax · 09/03/2015 17:15

That sounds great, Sass. It's likely that I'll be going back home to America in the summer, so that'll be good motivation to keep me on the straight and narrow after my Easter holiday. Eleven stone seems like such an impossible weight, but I do feel like I could sustain this long enough to make it happen. How exciting.

LexLoofah · 09/03/2015 17:25

notagain wow that is great loss, brilliant

B - 2 soft boiled eggs chopped in a cup with big ol' spoon of butter, crispy pancetta, cuppa
L- just munching now: big crunchy salad, hm mayo, 3 bite sized pieces edam - drat forgot to put in the ham
D - will be lamb & aubergine curry with cauli rice

lurkingmurking · 09/03/2015 17:58

Sass Amax and others I went from 14.1 to 10.8 over 12 months in 2013 so it's definitely doable!! (Let's ignore that I went back up to 12.9 in the following 12 months!)

10.13 is my dream weight and I WILL be there by June.

Food today:

B: BPC, bacon and 2 boiled eggs
L: Salami, avocado, boiled egg, cherry toms
D: Duck breast with five spice, celeriac chips
S: Little bowl of macadamia nuts, raspberries and 80% choc

I'm so pleased macadamia nuts are so expensive because I LOVE them!
