ive been a single parent now for oevr 7 years
i chose to be alone

i cant imagine myself being settled again and sharing the parenting responsibility-its been so long

but i dont want to be alone for the rest of my life! im worried that i will be though as we are very close and for someone to come in our lives it would affect the dynamics

Yes Charliecat I am an oldie, have not posted for ages though, not since I was pregnant with dd2.

Hi to you too lou33

Girly · 23/07/2007 21:55

Oh and the thrill of the chase does it for me too. The challenge of finding someone that can make me laugh and be on the same level is prving tricky esp as I get chatted up/chased by guys that are too young for me

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:03

oh i'll take them then please, tyvm

Girly · 23/07/2007 22:19

ok will pass them your way lou There is one big advantage of a younger man, they are very enthusiastic shall we say!! My friend is 12 years younger than me

charliecat · 23/07/2007 22:28

No I like older men. Always have. Cant explain it, like the weathered look. With bald spot..........wtf IS that about actually.
God.
.

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:30

my last bf was 11 yrs younger

best bloke i ever met

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:30

charlie, maybe you like polishing his dome?

charliecat · 23/07/2007 22:33

You could be right ..there these DOMES in T.Wells, I always used to think of them as a child PMSL
Maybe...just maybe...

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:35
Girly · 23/07/2007 22:35

lol at polishing his dome! charliecat, you should really give a younger one a try, its worth it

lou, I am sorry it did not work out with your man. Would you like a 22, 24 or 25 year old, they are going spare

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:40

ewww thats a slightly too young for me, i have a rule that i keep away if i could have given birth, then add a couple of years on top of that, so it has to be from about 27 really

got any of those lurking about?

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:41

it worked out great wiole we were together girly, but when i met him i knew he was emigrating for a new career, otherwise i'd be still with him

Girly · 23/07/2007 22:46

There was a 27 yr old but he got spooked because I have 3 kids. He was so funny. shame as out of all of them he was the one I liked the most.

I am 36 so am not really old enough to have given birth to them, she says frantically counting on her fingers to check this is true. If I come across one a bit older I will pass him to you ok?

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:47

ok thanks, i seem to have run out of ones i can be arsed with, in my town

Girly · 23/07/2007 22:47

Oh that is a shame lou

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:49

well not really if you saw them, you would agree

Pan · 23/07/2007 22:54

Hoovering the stairs and dining room. Normally 20 mins. With one hand? Blumin' ages!!

Sorry lou, wasn't being specific to you at all. And yes, I just couldn't be successful with a woman who had no gumption/terrain/spirit. There's nothing to rub up against(!) and so both develop and find out more about each other, etc etc.

And 'the chase'?? I just could not be arsed!! The thing about staying cool and letting the cat come to you, rather than chasing it round the room appeals much more! NOT that particular gambit has been that successful of late.

lou33 · 23/07/2007 22:55

oh i know you werent, but i was replying anyway

Girly · 23/07/2007 22:55

I meant about your ex bf, posts crossed.

Looks like you will have to widen the net if you have gone through all the blokes in your town

Girly · 23/07/2007 23:00

Got to go to bed now. Had a heavy night on saturday and I need to catch up on some sleep. Went dancing with people from work and did not get to bed til 7am. Am so knackered, I am getting too old for this clubbing lark! Nice chatting to you x

charliecat · 23/07/2007 23:05

PSML at pans chasing the cat round the room

lou33 · 23/07/2007 23:07

oh not gone through them, just not interested in them!

goodnight

Pan · 23/07/2007 23:08

NOT chasing the cat round the room.

night lou.

charliecat · 23/07/2007 23:14

Yes...NOT sorry, I had a vision of myself NOT chasing the cat and being found with cowwebs and maggots TBH
Nite lou....ive finished with the scrabble for the night

charliecat · 23/07/2007 23:14

Cowwebs? FGS Cobwebs. I have been here toooooooo long.
