Betty79 · 26/04/2011 22:59

nmn-Its shocking isnt it.....y oh y do they think sending u a pic of their manhood is a good way of getting a woman to talk to you i dont know! my friend keeps trying to get me to download an app called ffm on my iphone but i refuse as she is always getting pictures of manhoods on it lol

dtm-hope you managed to settle ds, its so hard isnt it when they are overtired :(

Hey all anyway, good long weekend :) back to work today tho :( another one who is struggling getting kids back on term time bedtimes. DD1 came down half hour after putting her to bed, crying saying she didnt want easter to end as she had such a lovely time bless lol :)

Betty79 · 26/04/2011 23:01

hi changingname sorry i missed u out had to go back and re last page! I strangley cant wait for my dd's to be ringing me up at all hours....either that or I will be out with them Wink

changingmynameagain · 26/04/2011 23:11

I'm just in from a BBQ at my mate's parents.

Girls are overdosed on sweet stuff and insisting on sleeping in the same room.

Shock at pictures of manhood.

I am old, tis official.

changingmynameagain · 26/04/2011 23:12

Oh and I have had the horrible experience of being out with my mate on the pull just starting to get chatted up by a very lush young man and have him get a tap on the shoulder - from DS's best mate.

I Was Not Impressed

BertieBotts · 27/04/2011 20:37

Just marking my place :)

davidtennantsmistress · 29/04/2011 08:50

it's the weddin it's the weddin it's the wedding! :o.

ok and relax, popping out for the day with the boy so will catch up with y'all later on. hope there's plenty of flirting going on girls - even if it's only a bit of banter gotta fly the flag still!

flippinada · 29/04/2011 10:33

Hey up everyone, can I join in?

Another namechanger here :)

I've had the funny pictures as well. What's with that? NOT attractive.

flippinada · 29/04/2011 10:35

Big fat nowt happening on the man front. Firmly on the shelf over here!

NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 18:33

hello all,

i am knackered. went on a random unexpected meet up with someone last night. went rather too well as I stayed over (seperate beds) and had to drive to work this morning. we were having a big open day/party in office, so no one was bothered as no actual work being done iykwim.

i've told him outright if we get involved on a regular basis he is not to get idea of full on living together relationship. but that there also wont be casual sex. so we'll see if a friendship forms.

can we call him mr essentric(sp?) who can spell that and save me googling.

oh, and i have johnny depp staying with me tomorrow night. Wink well a spitting double.

i am sooo tired though. got about 2 hrs sleep as up talking non stop. and essentric dog choose to sleep in the room i was in. i think thats a good sign Grin we went to a famous fish and chip shop and walked dog on beach before i decided it was safe enough to go in for a coffee... which turned alcoholic beverage and me staying.. what can i say.. i am a sucker for a bombay saphire and cranberry Grin

i forgot how nice it is just to be able to say yes when you get a random invite of chat and beach walk. i think i will enjoy staying on the shelf.

who watched the wedding. i was not too impressed by her dress. didn't like the veil.

Betty79 · 29/04/2011 19:27

Hi ladies,

well nmn Grin good for u, getting out and doing a random invite! Sounds like it went well. So tell us more about essentric?

hi flip, are u on any dating sites or not bothered?

Im still chatting to people on pof but still not met anyone, am being picky this time I think lol but dont think thats a bad thing!

davidtennantsmistress · 29/04/2011 19:33

well - it's been a blinking tiring day here a theme park with DS isn't the tihng to do when pg - he loved the tea cups but managed to turn them into a waltza type of thing - needless to say both clydie & I got really really sick. apart from that mum went on the bigger rides I couldn't & got v wet in the process hahaha. he's exhausted but yet again won't give in for bed time for me. it's getting stupid now as he'll go to sleep nicely for everyone else. Anyhow.

betty - get and down load it Wink. keep a looking & flirting, no harm in that doesn't have to go anywhere. is there actually any fresh faces out there at the moment?

you know I've never been sent the manhood picture - I feel short changed about dating now - & DP never has/would - when I jokingly asked he said it was crude/crass & not something a man should do. god damn having a man with morals. :o

changing - HAHAHAHA love it! not sure who I should say poor 'x' to - you for the nice young man & realising it was a friend of DS's or the friend realising you were his mates mum. lol. either way ya still got it girl. Wink

flip - hiya & welcome, are you a name change we know of & can guess?

NMN - :o good on ya girl, the question is who's winning your competition you or your mate? I think it's eccentric possibly?

NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 19:45

essentric - em.. he's essentric. Grin spend 10years doing 8 months here saving, 4 years travelling all over world. gave this up a couple of year ago to persue a really unique self employment. no idea if i will hear from him again, he admitted to being equally fascinated as he was shocked by me Hmm , not sure if thats a good or a bad thing. i think it's a nice way of saying i am loud and scarey but that turns him on. lol

he was a bit posh too. exact opposite of me. i'm common as muck Wink

he was pof. hardly talked to him at all online.we had bashed about a few random texts, and i found myself at loose end last night and asked him if he was free. was only going to meet for some of the famous fish and chips. it's nice when they actually look like their photos Grin

betty- nothing wrong with being picky.

OP posts:
NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 20:00

ok... s - mr depp has just called and asked if he can come round for a few hours tonight (cant stay tonight as i have kids in bed)... i am a mess. so little sleep. alcohol seeping from my pores still. and my house is a riot.

mr depp is from real life. not a dating site. known him for about a year but this is first time we have both been single.

OP posts:
ninah · 29/04/2011 21:19

nmn it's gone from famine to feast! they both sound pretty good dates
agree with you about dress. pronuptia rather than gaultier.

NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 21:22

ninah - yeah.. i really would have preferred if she had done something not traditional. vivianne westwood type of thing. she could have carried it off and thrown herself up even higher in the fashion stakes.

i am sitting nervous. i have my maxi dress on i bought for my hols which i posted on fb. i am going to declare i just "threw it on" as if i haven't made an effort, even though i have already tried on about 6 casual sitting at home outfits.

tryng to quickly finish of a paper for my course too.

hows you?

OP posts:
BertieBotts · 29/04/2011 21:27

I'm not writing books - nothing as exciting as that, just essays unfortunately! Still plugging away despite XP not having DS this weekend - he's recently broken up with his girlfriend/fiancee, though they might be back together again now, I give up keeping track. I told him to text me when he's ready to see DS again anyway. Not holding my breath :( Also being a bank holiday on Monday DS isn't going to the childminder either. So I have until Tuesday to get it finished but approximately 0 child-free hours to work in, and he's not sleeping fantastically either (still up now)

Betty - I can't believe how many manhoods I've been sent, since I was about 15 or so, yuck. It just seems like a perfect conversation opener for some. I don't get it? A few of my exes sent me them as well but by then I was so desensitised I just said "thanks" and hid them away in a folder. I could probably open a gallery Grin I was a bit bemused when I came on MN and everyone was so opposed to them. Not the kind of thing DP would do though, which is nice!

NMN - Lucky you! I once went out with a Jack Sparrow lookalike. I found him far, far too irresistible. Had to go cold turkey in the end. I doubt it's the same one though Grin he definitely wasn't posh. It's eccentric, btw :)

NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 21:33

bertie - its 2 different blokes
mr eccentric,
mr depp.

both are kinda posh actually though. Winkboth get a ribbing off me for their boarding school upbringing and lack of common sense.

OP posts:
NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 21:33

oh and bertie - what subject is your essays on?

OP posts:
BertieBotts · 29/04/2011 21:41

Oh, sorry - I got a bit confused. My mr Depp was a bit eccentric you see Grin

I have one on sustainability and capitalism, and the other is about Universal Credit. So quite interesting, just lacking time here. It's frustrating as I'd love to spend longer on them.

NOmeansNO · 29/04/2011 21:46

they would be quite interesting in the current climate. where do you do the research on them?

OP posts:
BertieBotts · 29/04/2011 22:25

Google mainly. The uni is actually pretty well geared up for part time students and has all the key readings and quite a lot of other texts scanned on the library website, so I can access them online. (Also very handy as you can use Ctrl-F to "find" a certain phrase!) I also set up google scholar with my uni login which means it searches various online articles, books and journals by academics, both free access ones and the ones I have access to through the uni library via JSTOR or Athens or their subscriptions to various journals or whatever. So that is really handy too. Although for the UC one because it's a report rather than an essay we are being encouraged to look at pressure groups as well so for example I've been trawling the Gingerbread website for press releases.

ninah · 29/04/2011 22:32

all cool here! been helping give donkey rides today (long story)
you do like posh geezers, don't you nmn? i don't think I have you on fb, I have monty etc, can I find you there
lol at 'throwing' on dress
have done that myself

NOmeansNO · 30/04/2011 01:48

ninah - monty will give you my fb name, i can show you eccentric and depp on my fb. I do seem to have a running thing where I end up with posh geezers. lol, i will be bottom of her friends list. same last name as kdk if you have her on fb. and i have a black kilt thing on in my photo and a red jacket.

my dress was a hit Grin, i got "wow, loving your stripey dress", and i did the "oh i just threw this on, its just a maxi for my summer hols and wouldn't wear it in public" Wink

bertie - thats good you have good access. gives you more points of view to consider. i always found good old fashionned google was good for my accountancy papers. although not same as you are doing, but i gave good arguing points when you looked at the various discussions on forums, and articles available to read.
