just wondering if this has been done before...

I have 2 Dcs (2 & 5) and am bringing them up by myself (H allowed to have phone contact only due to his fuck wittery {I love that phrase Blush Grin})

Sometimes its soooo hard doing it by myself Sad

DS had parents evening today and although his comments from teachers were fab most all of the other parents were couples.

Sometimes it hits me that I have to do everything myself Sad

simpson - i'm a terrible cook too,and hate it (probably why my DC2 is hungry all the time.. no i'm joking, he does ok..just

Those Alpro soya products are really yummy have you had them? I have friends that are vegan, or allergic to dairy and i have now mastered the art of making tea with soya milk, without it curdling.

Yes, car will be ok,its quite happy to sit outside the house, while i save to pay for its ailments! 'Tis i suffering! Wink

Sjm123-(Another smoker here)Wow that is a good day..Fingers well and truly crossed here for Friday! Grin

Jellykat · 10/01/2011 18:50

pmsl at quote of the day!

simpson · 10/01/2011 19:00

jellykat - she can't have soya either Sad

I used coconut milk & egg for the rice pudding.

I do have the odd cigarette here too but mainly when I am out tbh.

God, whats wrong with me today? just reread that post, what a numpty i am..

Coconut milk & egg sounds good Smile

Scorps · 10/01/2011 19:30

good luck SJM :)

I'm an ok cook [preen], i guess i have to be with an army to feed!!

Well i get on enough with H mother to tell her what he's saying. H can be very up and down; i think he thought he would be ok without me; better - but he's really not. Has lost alot of weight (is under 11st now and at heaviest before he left was 13st), looks awful, all this 'talk'.... i don't know. i think i'll wait and see if he says it again. i dont think he actually would iyswim. Im being very matter of fact - shouldn't i be the one who feels likethat?! and i just don't.

Good but quiet day here too.

Scorps · 10/01/2011 19:31

I am smoker too. Only outside in my shed Grin

Jellykat · 10/01/2011 20:28

That must be because you're strong, intelligent, and getting on with your priorities Scorps! Smile

You'd have thought his mum would have noticed he was looking crap! and attempted to sort him out before now..

Scorps · 10/01/2011 20:54

She lives in Somerset, 'we' live in very W. Cornwall. They're not all that close but i would have to tell her, so she could come down and see to him. I couldn't see to him without feeling emotional in some way.

Have been looking at gym times, and not sure i can go :( :( i need to do something though.

simpson · 10/01/2011 22:01

Does your gym not have a creche?

Otherwise could you try your local childrens centre??

Our one does a keep fit every friday with a creche for kids. Its £3 a class. But not much chance of meeting men there though Grin

I am going to re start my street dancing class soon Grin My friend who I go with has just had a baby so when she is up for it we will go every tuesday night and my mum will baby sit Smile

sjm123 · 11/01/2011 14:46

Well, today has been a crap day.

I've had millions of horrible texts from the ex and I have spent most of the day hiding in bed feeling sorry for myself. Rubbish :(

Better go get my youngest from school now then.

simpson · 11/01/2011 15:31

Sorry you have had a pants day Sad

OP posts:
Jellykat · 11/01/2011 15:53

Bloody great! DS2 school's just rang, he was late for a lesson because he was helping a friend look for his pencil case, and going to the loo..Even tho' he apologized when he got to the lesson, he is now on report! Sad

GGGGGRRRRRrrrr...

emma..Blimey! You go girl!.. Wink

LittleBeaut · 11/01/2011 16:50

Hi ladies... would it be to late for me to join in pleeeeease??

I must confess I havent read all the many posts yet but I promise I will do tonight when the kids are in bed (will have much more time then)

But I'm a single parent who has stupidly got herself up the duff again and well... is still single and quite honestly - scared of doing it all over again!! x

emmakneesupmotherbrown · 11/01/2011 17:21

hello littlebeaut

everyone else.. later, when the ex has been to visit the boys, I'll explain teh very very long story..

rightnow though, my heads going to explode... having bigBigBIG feelings..

its actually someone I almost had an affair with.. so its a massive explosion of insane pent up feelings.

sjm123 · 11/01/2011 17:55

Hi littlebeat :)

Thanks for the chocolate simpson :)

Tesco express next door have reduced all the giant green triangle quality street and the purple ones to 22p each. Myself and youngest have just eaten 3 each and now I feel a bit sick, but have perked up a bit. Now if they'd just reduce a nice bootle of red to the same kind of price that would really cheer me up :)

Apparently it's my turn to do the chicken thing on wii fit, oh joy! I swear she only picks this game to play because she likes to have a giggle at me looking ridiculous.

Jellykat · 11/01/2011 18:20

Ooo, Thanks sjm, just remembered i've got a 'big purple one' in my bag..That'll do the trick! Grin

LittleBeaut · 11/01/2011 19:42

Aw bless you all Grin

I will be reading all the posts soon and catching up on everyone... although be patient with me because it may take some time. I'm not the fastest of readers haha

Scorps · 11/01/2011 20:08

Hope all those with sad days are feeling bit better now.

H came round to see dc tonight and asked me if i ever woke up and thought that everythiing was the same still? i said no. He said he wakes up and for a minute looks for me and wonders where he is, kids, etc. i just said you probably had a dream and it will go, but he said is like 4/5 days a week. i just said it will pass and did some housework...

dd2 being a right pain to put to bed today!

simpson · 12/01/2011 17:29

How is everyone today??

Scorps - Have you had a chance to talk to H's mother?

Nothing much happening here except I am truely getting fed up of poorly DCs Sad

OP posts:
Jellykat · 12/01/2011 20:03

Hello..I had a good day today, spent all morning sorting out the school, boy do they get it wrong sometimes!..but a good result for me and DS2!

Plus i treated myself to the biggest bar of pistachio nougat..Reckon i deserved it,as 13 years ago today,i was giving birth Smile

I reckon all on here deserve a treat, what with poorly children, emotional XHs,possible reduncy etc etc..

Nougat anyone? Grin
