sfx, you've missed out, Graham Norton was actually very funny!

And I have got your messages, sorry haven't replied. Will check & do so immediately!

slng · 17/05/2009 09:36

Good morning all!

Had a fab shopping trip yesterday. Bankrupt now, but will look vaguely acceptable for the next couple of weeks or so ...

Off to tidy up and plan lunch for visiting FIL.

I hope it rains. We've just fitted a new water butt. Can't wait to get water out of tap! The skies are looking agreeably grey.

sfxmum · 17/05/2009 10:12

tilly immediately seems to be dd's favourite word
'but mummy I need it immediately'

slng it certainly is grey and wet just here down the road from you

OP posts:
slng · 17/05/2009 11:27

It did bucket down and we have water! How very gratifying!

SJ99 · 17/05/2009 19:06

Hello all

No Eurovision here, I watched Run fat Boy, Run which made me

DS2 been quite miserable today let's hope this week he will be better. DH 3 peaks challenge was a nightmare, gale force winds & snow/ice at top of Ben Nevis and they could only get 2/3 way up Sowdonia due to extreme weather conditions, the drivers also got lost which cost them valuable time. Still they raised £1200 for charity

Have BIL visting tom for a few days. As much as I like him, the timing's not great. I'm utterly exhausted, in need of a night out!

Hope everyone else well

slng · 17/05/2009 19:10

Hello!

Does anyone know where you can go PYO strawberries or veg around here?

sfxmum · 17/05/2009 19:16

slng I think there used to be a place near the A4/M4 whatever it is near the big Tesco can't remember the name sorry bit vague

SJ I expect they enjoyed it and are proud of themselves all that RMears training

hope you get some relief

dd has been wearing the top of my wedding outfit and insisted on a veil

SJ99 · 17/05/2009 19:19

Sfx - who's the lucky guy?

Slng - Garsons farm in Esher is fab, mass range of PYO

sfxmum · 17/05/2009 19:51

I have told her marriage is not a good idea she should just opt for going t lots of fancy dress parties instead

OP posts:
SJ99 · 17/05/2009 19:59

LOL!

DS1 said he wanted to marry a girl from preschool so I asked what her name was. He told me and then said she had grey hair

Hello, everyone - hope there were good weekends galore! SJ, how are the spots? We have no spots here but lots of sickness, in fact everyone bar me has succumbed so far so it's not been a great evening! Did manage to watch "Burn After Reading" last night - anyone seen it? Brilliant! I do love the Coen Bros.

tillyfernackerpants · 18/05/2009 09:12

Hi everyone,

PC, sorry about your weekend, fingers crossed you don't succumb!

sj, at ds1!

Weekend not bad, went to a local fair on Saturday so we kept getting rained on! But it was fun, ds1 had his face painted for the first time! We had planned another family day yesterday but I ended up having to run all over West London trying to get my glasses fixed . Am not going back to Vision Express, their glasses are crap!

Right must get ready. Am trying a mum & baby group round the corner from me & need to wash my hair. Can't bear the idea of meeting new people with dirty hair

SJ99 · 18/05/2009 10:47

morning all

PCW - sorry to hear about sickness, hope it passes quickly. Really enjoyed the film, not everyone's cup of tea but I thought it was hilarious!

Ros - enjoy your outing, I always feel guilty I don't do enough stuff with DS2

Another day in for us although DS2 does seem brighter today. Was making up the bed for BIL when DS1 asked if I was changing the sheets because I'd done a wee on them

Now, best get on with tidying up the rest of the house

sfxmum · 18/05/2009 10:58

hello all

slow start here and we are slowly getting it together

pcW hope you don't get the bug last time mine had in I was ok.

tilly my normal glasses are broken too and am using my spare which I don't like at all

OP posts:
mygreatauntgriselda · 18/05/2009 18:46

sfxmum · 18/05/2009 20:46

it was a code sent out today for order to be delivered tomorrow, virtual elbowing took place as by 4pm there were hardly any slots left, will give heads up when I get another
