Morning all, and thank you for all being so kind.
MrsR, we wet to my sister's, she lives in Aylesford ,not from the village. We wet for lunch at the Friary, which we always seem to do. Tis lovely there though. Got chased by enormous flock/gaggle of various types of geese.
I had one butting me with its huge bill and sis had one attatch itself to her hand. Then one laid an egg as it was walking- we decided it was probably the most embarrassing thing you could do if you were a goose...
About the AS diagnoses, it was a huge relief to me when he was diagnosed. I had him tested. I just knew that what he did was not deliberate, I knew he was not a nasty, unkind man. Not deliberately. He does have some ownership over what he does, of course, but much of it is just alien to him, and not deliberate. If it were, or I ever felt it was, i'd certainly not stay with him. So knowing it was not all personal, not deliberate, mostly impossible to change, actually made it all easier to deal with. MAny neuropsychologists actually call Aspergers 'Extreme Male Brain Syndrome' which explains it all really so many people I talk to about how he is, say, my god my DH is like that...
I've got to go to Staines to pick up a ring I bought DH in feb. Was sent for engraving from Kingston store, which is closed for refurb' so now stored at Staines. Really P'd off as I feel they should have called me to let me know before it got sent to Staines!
Have a good day all, might be on later this eve, depends if I packed and tidied up ! We were aiming to leave at 5am, but not sure now when DH is going to get here. He's driving from Runcorn to here... long drive!
Take care all
