slng when are going? hope have a nice time and a nice meal on the street

I agree with fitting in quiet tine, sometimes dd goes to her buggy and sits there quietly, mostly if we are away visiting relatives. otherwise she goes to the bedroom or curled up on my lap.

SJ don't know how your ds could be mistaken for a girl

Bunyan are you having cake? how are you getting on?

Ros meant to ask about ds's nose, is it all better now?

I found some films of dd when she was a baby up until her second birthday - so so tiny
and I taped her sleepingfor ages PFB or what?

sfxmum · 28/05/2008 15:22

mellow2 · 28/05/2008 18:42

Have a good trip, slng.

mellow2 · 28/05/2008 18:44

Ladies,
I'm expanding the ranges of organic skincare in my shop rapidly and I have been sent more testers/samples than I can trial.

Would anyone like to help me test some of these products? They're all lovely 100% natural skin care with organic extracts.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll email you to let you know what I've got.

mellow2 · 28/05/2008 18:45

Range, not ranges

rosmerta · 28/05/2008 20:12

evening all,

Mellow, I'd like to try some if you don't mind. I've been looking for something for my face (complete breakouts lately )!

slng, probably missed you but have a good trip!

sj, will give you a ring tomorrow am about meeting up. I think the weather is going to be pretty grotty so you're welcome to mine or we can jump on the bus to yours.

sfx, ds's nose is fine. Got it checked again by the dr today and she said it seemed ok. At this age its more cartilege so pretty hard to do any serious damage too.

Ds didn't nap today in the end, he had an hour in his cot & then we cuddled up on my bed and watched Peppa Pig. I think because it seemed to happen so suddenly (even on Mon he was still having a 2hr nap) its just really taken me by surprise. He did fall asleep in the pushchair though when we went to see a friend!

SJ99 · 28/05/2008 21:14

Ros - glad DS had a little sleep, DS sometimes still falls asleep in pushchair. He too used to nap 2hrs solid at lunchtime too, gone are those days! Fine about tom, our place is off limits though as more viewings taking place. We can come over or can go swimming - let's just decide in morning.

Mellow - I can help you out too if you have spare samples

Sfx - thanks for link, desserts look fab, just need to organise a dinner party now so can scoff them

sfxmum · 28/05/2008 21:30

mellow I did look in your site yesterday and noticed make up too. must have a look at the rest too

ros good to hear about the nose, it is true they are quite resilient at this stage.

SJ - yes have fun trying

am amused that a few weeks ago I was thinking of replacing my fan oh the irony.
think I need to pop to town tomorrow at some point, just hope it is not raining in the morning, have not been jogging since Sunday.

QC how is ds?

and Foxie?

fitfox · 28/05/2008 22:18

SFX thanks for asking - I still have sore throat and feel dizzy. The silver lining is that I'm not eating much and can still function

I've heard that Cava is good for sore throats!

Slng - have a fantatic trip and try and lhg on and say hellooo from Malaysia [waves]

Melow - if you need anyone else I could try some as I have tres sensitive skin so could tell you if they are "pure" enough for sensitive little flowers like me

Steppy have texted you

I sampled some Aloe Vera shampoo a friend sells and told her it was full of chemicals (which it was and made me all itchy)

stepfordwife · 28/05/2008 22:31

evening all

foxie, glad you're feeling better. yes, i got your text and answered it! sent you a few last week, too. have you been getting them ok? (luddite who doesn't quite trust technology )

mellow, i'd love to try out some of your products if you need more people

met a friend and her dds in kew gardens and had a good runaround. we climbed up to the tree walkway and ds2 proceeded to throw a wobbly at the top saying he was scared of heights (news to me)

right, off to do some token reading in bed - ie book banging me in the face as i fall asleep...
toodlepip

mellow2 · 29/05/2008 07:31

Thank you all for volunteering.

Ros,
I only have combination skin samples. You're welcome to try them but I don't think they're targeted at acne. The Suki skincare I sell is quite good for breakouts.

Foxie,
You're an ideal tester as I would like to know if these products are as natural as they claim. How was the shampoo sample I gave you? Did it give you an itch?

It might be easier if I list what I have at the moment and you can choose what's right for your skin type.
I'm trialing a new French brand called Patyka. They are sending me the following:

Dry Skin Toner (with Shea Butter & Rose) x Night Face Serum
Combination Skin Cleanser and Toner (with Tea Tree & Spearmint) and Night Face Serum

Antiageing.
-Crème Visage Réparatrice (Repair Face Cream)
-Elixir Nuit Réparateur (Night Serum)
-Contour des Yeux (Eye Contour)
-Mask Gommant Lumière (Exfoliating Mask)

mellow2 · 29/05/2008 07:41

Ros,
Would you like some Suki samples? I've got lots of them.

rosmerta · 29/05/2008 08:40

Mellow, that would be great. I'll email you. Quick cheeky question, do you have samples of the shampoo & conditioner?

Paddlechick666 · 29/05/2008 08:56

morning all, been away on a conference. exhausting.

mellow, would love to try some samples for you but my skin has only just recovered from the spa treatment i had in november last year! i couldn't bear it if I tried something new and had a severe reaction again.

had another run in with neighbours last night and am so so so still. partly because i went down there and had a go at them, i should just ignore it but they are so unreasonable.

dm brought dd home about 5:15pm and at 6pm neighbour is banging on her ceiling. all dd was doing was moving around. not even jumping or dancing. just trotting from lounge to bedroom etc.

this after dm told me the music was so loud on tuesday night the floor was shaking. tbh, that's par for the course every night. it starts about 7ish and could go for half an hour or until 11pm.

then there's the door slamming, the crashes and banging (christ knows what they're doing) and smoking on the stairs.

so i lost my rag and went down there and told them i didn't appreciate them banging on my floor at 6pm in the evening because my child happens to want to move around her own home! then i moved onto the music/smoking/door slamming and ASBO boy just stood there with glazed eyes going "yeah okay, whatever". Pointed out it wasn't just me but the old lady below them and they should have more consideration and he said "the old lady never complains". I said "of course not, she's housebound and couldn't even if she wanted to!!!".

He tried telling me they've lived here longer than I have! So that gives him the right to intimidate everyone in the building and do what the hell he likes without any consideration for anyone else!!!

GRRRRRR! Immediately afterwards of course the music went on full blast.

Angry with myself, I should've just ignored it. Me having a go just makes it all worse........

rosmerta · 29/05/2008 09:09

Paddle, am so for you. I know it doesn't help! I find it so hard to believe that people can't have simple decency & respect for others around them.

Paddlechick666 · 29/05/2008 09:15

Ros, the worst thing is that I end up feeling so bad that dd is being noisy etc.

In fact, she's really not that bad. She's already really conscious of making noise and I hate that.

I feel bad for making noise that disturbs them. I feel uncomfortable in my own home. I feel like I come over as some sort of nutter when I go down there and rant at them and I end up wondering if it's me that is being unreasonable!

sfxmum · 29/05/2008 09:26

good morning all

paddle I am so sorry you are in that situation, I really think some people never grow up to consider other regardless. they just make life hell for others.
the HA really needs pushing and prodding to deal with them.

Mellow I meant to say I wanted to try the Suki but I think instead of samples will get the mini kit

I am seriously annoyed at this online company I ordered stuff ages ago and nothing has arrived so far, I contacted them about it and what I think is an over charge, have yet to receive any acknowledgement.

hope everyone is well today, have to stay in ths morning waiting for parcels but hope to go run around later.

steppie funy about the height business, I shall not attempt it without dh

mellow2 · 29/05/2008 09:28

Paddle,
I'm angry for you too. I don't think you're a nutter at all. They just sound really uncivilised.

Ros,
Not a cheeky question at all. Unfortunately, I don't have any at the moment. I'll see if I could get some in.

mellow2 · 29/05/2008 09:31

Great sfx. Which skin care kit are you interested in? Would it the one for dry/mature skin? You'll receive the MN 10% discount on the RRP of course.

Would you like me to drop it off at your place?

mellow2 · 29/05/2008 09:33

sfx,
That's annoying. I wouldn't have the patience you've had dealing with them. I would have cancelled the order by now.
