I'm not too bothered about the religion thing in school. DS2 tells a credible story of Dewali. I haven't heard his version of the Christmas story yet, but it will almost definitely be interesting. Grin

Kewcumber · 18/11/2010 19:18

yes west wing - here in the smoke we have cinemas. and public transport.

odetothewestwing · 18/11/2010 19:37

Yes, indeed. And Kew, here in the sticks we have a cinema, theatre, fantastic park(s), direct rail connection to London and beach 20 mins away Grin I need a tongue stick-y out-y emoticon here. Mind you, we don't yet have a Wagamama but apparently it is coming soon. And in terms of local celebs, I think Alvin Stardust may be local, now you must be really jealous ...

Kewcumber · 18/11/2010 20:23

yes but your cinemas only show films with Ingrid Bergman in them (yes you are right we need a tonue stick-y out emoticon)

odetothewestwing · 18/11/2010 20:51

Harry Potter is on plus two other options AND we have the Bolshoi here at Christmas so stick that in yer proverbial pipe and smoke it Grin

Just had a large bowl of apple crumble and off to bed with a good book shortly, it's all happening here in the provinces Wink

tillyfernackerpants · 19/11/2010 10:09

Biscuit

The challenge is to write an intelligible message using emoticon only. Grin

sfxmum · 19/11/2010 11:23

Thought film was excellent, also can't wait for final chapter! Was surprised how many young kiddies were there, parts of the film made me jump

What is this new emoticon, is it for Children in Need? can't see it on list below Hmm

Out for Dh's b'day tonight, little else planned this wkend apart from usual chaos
Hop everyone has a nice wkend

UptoapointLordCopper · 20/11/2010 19:09

Glad film was good. I'll wait for DVD. First one on this afternoon but DS1 vetoed it. Thought it might be scary!

Have I got a cold? Everyone has a cold. Should I have a cold in sympathy?

sfxmum · 21/11/2010 12:12

Here in the Oirish sticks we have only one cinema in the entire county, but we have plenty beaches Wink

Took six kids to see HP last night (at the only cinema), they all LOVED it :)

Public transport in London would be great, if it wasn't so crowded with the public...mind you I wouldn't mind a bit of public transport over here, crowds or not.
