Any one up for Belgian MNetters Meet Up?

I've noticed there are a few of us now, Brussels, Leuven, Antwerp, elsewhere?

We're approaching that period where the weather might be reasonably nice, so I thought it might be good to organise something if you're interested.

I have no real idea of how to go about this, but have to start somewhere.....

I'll go to Kessel Lo in the next couple of weeks and see exactly where the best place is to meet.

Have they got a strong filter system at work? At mine sometimes I try to go onto MN and a random word alerts the filter and I can go no further. Very frustrating
We've even had trouble bringing up pics of animals for the kids as the filter won't let us. Craziness.....

Have been busy helping my son study for his maths A level so haven't been on for a while. I most probably won't be here that week as I'll most probably be in England. Shame as I was looking forward to meeting you all.

I still can't log on at work as me! I'm getting a new laptop today so was having a tidy up yesterday. I think I deleted all my cookies and now the laptop doesn't want to know! I joined again using work email. So now there are two mes!

Sorry I've been missing this thread for a while.
You all seem to have been doing some excellent organisation while I've been away.
Wednesday 29th at 1:00pm at Kessel-Lo is okay with me too.
I've never been there either so it'll be great to meet some new friends in a new place.
Along with my picnic I'll be bringing DD aged 2 and DS aged 7 months.

I have extra room in the car if anyone wants a lift from the east side of Brussels/suburbs. I got the day off!

Btw, does anyone know anything about getting washing machines or tumble driers serviced over here? Have had Vanden Borre technicians out to 'mend' them, but they've not done the job... Just want someone to service them now - any idea's??

Sorry - don't know anything about machine servicing. Do you get the Bulletin? There are always people advertising in there....

What's the best way to make offline contact to exchange gsm numbers/emails or something? I have CAT.

Also willing to host, if the weather is REALLY dreadful that day. I'm in Zaventem (just off E40/near Ikea) so mid way between Brussels/Leuven/Tervuren/Mechelen.

I don't minding hosting either; am in Tervuren, and have largish garden and trampoline.
