Ooh ooh I've got a christmas tree but it's not conical, it's a group of palms

Photos tomorrow??

In typical OverRated fashion, I bundled DS up today and braved the freezing conditions to have a DS&Mummy Christmas Adventure downtown but forgot my own hat and gloves

We had a fab day though - he met Curious George (again) and then visited Santa. He took it all very seriously, dutifully holding Santa's hand and parading round the stage, but was a happy little boy. He spent all afternoon saying "I saw smissmas" & "I said 'fank you Santa'", which indeed, he did

Hope everyone is ok.

I'm not sure if that is better or worse than the mom who forgot to bring her DS' coat to the Christmas tree farm, so her DS wore her coat and she had nothing. Although it was cold here, but not as bad as where you are.

DS had a pajama party for his last day of preschool before the break. DD had to wear her pajamas all day, too, so she could be like 'Bub'. Not looking forward to next week, because there's no school, and DS won't like that.

dodgykeeper · 15/12/2007 21:15

OOoohh! So pretty here today! I love the snow when you don't have to go anywhere. Ds and dd have another week left at school which is a good job as I still have soo much to do. I cant get used to not having my mum to take them off my hands for a while. Ds has been really good about being dragged around the mall but you can only ask so much of a four yr old. dh is away in California for a few days with work so Im feeling a bit sory for myself. The snow and the pretty Christmas decs are helping to lift spirits though.

Hope your Christmas plans are going well!

Hope everyone else is ok. You coping with the frost, Califrau?

Any news on the weather in the North East?

The folks will be departing from Newark on Tuesday evening.

Here's hoping it gets off on time!

OverRated · 17/12/2007 01:55

It's bad isn't it? I don't think there is any more snow forecast before Tuesday, Expat, so your folks should be ok. My Dad arrives on Saturday so I'm hoping O'Hare will be open & fully functional. I once got stuck there for 5 hrs on the day before Thanksgiving. Not fun.

Califrau - what's the website where you can download classical music? I think it is a German one... do you have any idea what I am talking about? I want to say it has the word kunst in the name but I might be making that up... I need a copy of sheep may safely graze.

OP posts:
OverRated · 17/12/2007 03:36

Although why it would have kunst (art?) in the name, I have no idea. Think I got that wrong

I was thinking of Kunst der Fuge but the 8notes one looks interesting. They have sheet music for bassoon

Hello ladies! Hope you're not freezing to death!

I've done some pics of Bermuda and one of my Christmas tree and created a profile to put them on if anyone's interested.

I'm going into hospital for my mastectomy first thing tomorrow morning so will not be around for a few days. Hopefully I'll be home by the weekend.
