IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

So sorry to hear this lovely, it’s devastating isn’t it.
I had my day five 9/10 caremaps AI transfer last Wednesday and it’s almost end of day 7 and I’m negative so think I’m out.
Was my first ever shot at IVF/ICSI, everything went so smoothly, so I naively thought the transfer would.
Got to speak to the clinic as I’d love a frozen transfer asap, I have 3 on ice.
Overall just feeling heartbroken and my partner doesn’t seem to understand, making it even harder x

Im not having a fet but will be starting a whole new cycle in july with hopefully a fresh transfer before july is over. This will be my 4th egg retrieval since beginning of 2025. We had a fet in November 2024 which ended in a chemical. First cycle after that was a failed fertilisation, second cycle we had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and 3rd cycle was bad quality embryos and we transferred 1 but knew there was no chance it would work. So we just keep starting from scratch with no further advancement. My clinic made a huge mistake that I think didnt help with my failed cycles and thats they were using my amh and other blood reports of my hormones from back in 2019 and had not done updated ones since starting back up in 2024 , not sure what all my recent blood tests were but wasnt for hormones so they found their mistake and said its possible I wasnt been given enough medications for my cycles and not enough progesterone for transfer . So im giving them one more shot and see if they make big changes to my plan if not my husband and I have been talking about calling it a day or if we trial one cycle with a new clinic.

Hi everyone please can I join? We had successful ICSI and our son is now 3yold. We're doing a FET for a sibling. We were planning on doing it this month, but had a lot going on and our son hasn't been well so I've pushed it back to July. I'm eating healthily, doing acupuncture, exercising and focusing on rest, and feeling cautiously optimistic. Wishing us all lots of luck. Take care xx

Hi everyone how are we all doing? I've just started Day 1 June period so in a month's time I'll be starting the medication. Can't wait to start and also equally feel under pressure too!

Iv just finished my period . I had my mendications plan and cycle plan emailed for when my next cycle starts hopefully at the end of the month.

Period is due on 28th ish of June where I'll start meds for a frozen transfer.
I've had four egg retrievals (one just to donate eggs), all freeze all due to OHSS. Three FET's, one beautiful 4 year old who's currently running me ragged, one missed miscarriage and one failed. So on we go for round #8!
I've been on a thread for most of these and it's been hugely helpful.

How's everyone doing in the build up?

Im personally losing my confidence . Heading into my 4th egg retrieval, so far no good embryos.

I'm sorry 😞 it's understandably incredibly tough. Are they doing anything differently this round?

Can I join? I had my ER this month and am still in the process of getting our results but my doctor has planned to do my first FET in July after AF arrived.

Hi everyone! Do you mind if I join? Currently preparing for my 4th FET, I was expected it to be next week but I had my lining scan today and I’m not quite there yet, next scan is next Friday so hoping my transfer will be the week after, so probably slipping into July.

This is our last embryo from our first round, of the 3 transfers we have done, 2 failed and one resulted in mmc. This time, as well as the usual estrogen and progesterone pessaries I’ll be also taking Lubion, clexane, aspirin and prednisone, hoping that might give this embryo the best chance!

Yeah they are increasing medications in hopes to try to get more eggs. See how we go.

I've been trying beetroot juice I've heard it's good for FET. I'm not 100% on the flavour though! Feeling excited, nervous some days but trying to keep positive

I've got everything crossed for everyone. Cycle day 1 has arrived and my baseline call is booked for tomorrow.. here we go!

Im just waiting for cycle day 1 now then il start the pill for 10 days. Period should be here any time from now. Suppose to be in 6 days but anywhere from now to 10 days overdue. So we will see.

Thank you! I'll feel excited once the clinic call in an hour to let me know I can start the progynova. Until then I feel nervous they'll say they can't this month!

Hi all, I'd like to join if thats ok, I on meds for my 3rd FET, currently taking 10mg progynova through various orifices + evorel patches, my lining scan is on Sunday, all being well I will transfer on the 6th July!

Having a kitchen sink protocol this time as they have found a problem with my lining, I have a low decidulisation score, meaning my lining doesn't transform properly ready for the embryo. I am having a Neuopagen wash, steroids + I am having hcg boosters day 4, 6 and 8 after transfer so no early testing for me!!

How are we all getting on this heat?!

All good to go, start Progynova tomorrow and scan on day 10. I feel like that's quite an early scan but I guess we shall see!

Hi everyone, I had my second lining scan this morning and I’m finally ready, transfer is booked in for next Friday, 3rd July.

Now starts the anxiety that my embryo won’t survive the thaw!

I start Lubion and Clexane etc on Sunday, a bit nervous about Lubion as it’s my first time taking this and heard it’s not great! has anyone used it before and have any advice?

No experience of Lubion I'm afraid. Good luck everyone! I'm really fortunate with the IVF meds in that I have few side effects. The only real ones being that I end up looking super pregnant on Progesterone and, apparently, very very tearful on progynova. I've cried too many times today already!

Thankfully I've been allowed to work from home for the entire cycle so can cry into my blanket while working.

Started my cycle over the weekend and had my first scan today so looks like I'm officially cleared to start my July FET cycle. Not really sure how long it'll last but I start taking my estradiol tomorrow. Anyone done a FET before and have an idea of how long on average the wait is from start to transfer?
