IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

Hi everyone!
Just had my last tracking scan today, and lining is at 11mm, and folicule at 17mm, so transfer has been booked for next Saturday!

Its my 2nd FET, last one resulted in my DD, who is 2 now.

Im currently keeping it all under wraps, so that I dont have questions from the family, and since Im a SMBC, this will end up being my outlet!

Currently waiting on some bloodwork results, to find out whether I need to do a trigger shot tonight.

Hi @ASGIRC.. I've a different username now so you won't recognise me but I was on the chat when you got your BFP with tour DD! A fellow SMBC and I was on my cycle for a sibling. I remember some meds chaos with a crazy run to the pharmacy for meds? Hope all goes smoothly!

And YES there was a mad dash to get the ovitrelle! This time I have it in the fridge all ready to go!

Oh I'm so glad! Yes, my DD is 5 in a couple months, about to start school which just feels wild.

this is my first time doing IVF

this is my first doing time doing ivf. I’m on the short protocol day 5 ovaleap. Day 6 tomorrow is start Fyremadel as well.

first scan tomorrow Monday. And hopefully egg retrieval on Friday if all is well.

i have been told I’m high risk of OHSS. No symptoms, but going with flow and hope to have fresh cycle this month.

I've had two IVF cycles and was at risk of OHSS both times. I was a little uncomfortable after one of them but ended up fine thankfully. The good part was that I got a lovely little Embryo stash in the freezer! The frustrating part at the time was having to wait for a frozen transfer but honestly in hindsight it worked out really well.

@OverTired26 congratulation on you BFP sorry I can’t catch up with everyone hope everything goes smoothly for all. My transfer is on Tuesday. Hope the time fly till OTP. DS and DD keep me busy most of the time hopefully it will help me not stress even though I know it won’t.

@BluntBlueOP welcome, I had 2 fresh. One was transferred at day 3 and was successful. It only takes one. Hope everything goes well.

Thank you so much. oh that is good to know, I keep reminding myself, it will be okay if I have to have frozen. I think it’s just me being inpatient after years of getting here. I’m not feeling too uncomfortable but can feel my tummy feels different than usual and can feel things happening I guess. I have 13 follicles on my left and over 20 on my right, I’m 37. My partner has very low morphology so we are having to have ivf. I’m nauseous in the mornings but that normally passes by afternoon. I have tummy upset in mornings too. Hoping all will be well for egg collection Friday. Thank you for your kind message x

Oh did you. That’s good to hear and know. I’m having transfers at day 5, if I’m allowed to have a fresh a cycle so will see. Thank you for your kind messages.

@BluntBlueOP- I totally get this. Lots of people reminded me that it was okay, and told me their positive stories but it didn't take away the fact I just desperately wanted to go ahead! I had a similar number actually, lots of lovely eggs!
Glad things aren't too uncomfortable and wishing you all the best for collection!

Morning all! It's a BFN over here I'm afraid, totally expected on my side - something in my heart just told me it hadn't worked this time. I can't explain it. I will unfollow this thread soon but best of luck to everyone else with their transfers and tests, sending tons of love xxx

I'm on second day of Progesterone and it's really bit me on the bum. Feel tired and very anxious which isn't like me at all, also upset tummy. Google says this is normal but don't remember this last time. I'm also procrastinating and finding it hard to focus with work. Had anyone else felt like this or has it got better?

Have you had the results? (Im assuming its a beta?)

I never got the bloodwoork results over the weekend, but texted my doctor, who said to do the trigger anyway.

Got the results today, and they were as expected anyway, so Im starting on the JOYS of progesterone 😖

Well, here we are, my transfer day was today (4AA).

Definitely drank too much water and they were delayed on patients so I had to let it all out and then get a re-fill, so I'm feeling super hydrated. 😂

Best of luck to those still waiting, glad to be joining you in the TWW now. I was told to wait until the 1st to test. xx
