IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

How you doing @Cornish13? I totally understand the feeling. Even the 7 week scan only reassured me for a few seconds. Booking a 10 week one now 😂

How's it going @ASGIRC- I desperately hope you're worried until April too!

Im ok I think! My second beta came back at double, something like 4700 🤞🏻my first scan at the clinic is now at 6 weeks and 6 weeks, only a 12 day wait now 🫠 I’ve already told my partner if all is well at that scan i’ll be booking a 10 week scan haha

@Cornish13 just as an absolute value, that's a great beta for 15dpt! Mine at 16dpt was 987 and today, at 5 weeks 6 days, I saw a HEARTBEAT!!!!!

@OverTired26 Well, today we saw a little baby, measuring 5 + 6, and with heartbeats!! Very difficult to hear, because it was so tiny, but definitely there!!!

I'm still guarding my heart, as I've read about similar situations where the heart stopped before the end of the 1st trimester, but I'm definitely pregnant!!!
I'm glad I didn't follow my doctor's advice and not gotten the betas when I did.
I'm firing my doctor as well, but have already emailed the clinic to ask for a follow-up scan, with a different doctor.

I’ve been trying to follow your drama with the clinic and jeez!! I honestly wouldn’t be able to cope. My second beta came back at something like 4700 so it’s doubled 🤞🏻 amazing you’ve been able to have that scan, sucks how you got there though. My first scan isn’t until 6 weeks and 6 days and I’m going insane already 😂

There is a looovely due in April group you may like.. it has a WhatsApp group too.

I love a due date group!!! I'm still in touch with the ladies from the July transfer from 3 years ago, and have met a couple, and the babies!
So I'm definitely up for joining that!

@Cornish13 that sounds like a great beta!!! The wait is awful! I'm so worried, I might go to urgent care mid week just to make sure the little mite is still growing 😅😅

Our FET was unsuccessful sadly. We are planning to do a new cycle and egg collection. How long do pwople tend to wait between a failed FET and new EC? Sounds like 90 days is recommended? Thank you

Completely forgot I started this thread after my first failed transfer in March.

My second one also failed in July so I guess I'm away to make another thread for everyone else's positives!
