IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

@OverTired26 i think what I like about not testing is that you still have that hope inside, when I see a negative it makes me feel so hopeless! I think it’s all just sh*t whichever way we look at it 😂

@jenk91- That's perfectly reasonable. I think I like being let down slowly if it hasn't worked 😂 gosh, none of it's easy though, is it? I certainly didn't feel any better or worse on my last round that failed!

@OverTired26 yep I think whatever we do, there’s no escaping the crappiness of it all!

How many transfers have you had before?

@jenk91- This is my fourth, I've had three full rounds but all of those ended in OHSS so no fresh transfers. Then 4 FETS. You?

@OverTired26 this is also my fourth! Although from my first round, and this is my last embryo.

hopefully it will be a lucky number 4 for us both😬 Although it’s so hard to imagine a positive outcome through all of this isn’t it

Yayyy to all the embryos on board! 🥳 I've got 6 days til period due and will then start the day one meds. Protocol is the same as last time as it worked so just Oestradiol on day 1 and then progesterone after transfer. Still feels like it hasn't sank in we are doing it yet, we were one and done for a long time but at 41 feels like it's now or never!

Hi everyone! Day 2 here and started oestrogen this morning. Previous frozen transfer in June didn't stick, so trying a double transfer this month of our two remaining embryos 🤞

Thank you everyone! @CaribbeanCupcake- I'm full of nervous excitement now. Trying to get the house totally sorted so that when I get home I can just totally chill and binge watch some box sets.
Feels like a long morning!
Also.. while I fully appreciate the no deodorant rule, the 33 degree heat is making me slightly anxious 😅

I am 6dpt today and I’ve started to have quite a lot of period cramps, I was woken in the night with the most horrendous cramps, which of course has sent me spiralling! But equally if I didn’t have cramps I know I would also be spiralling so 😂

@jenk91- Feeling good thank you! It was the best transfer I have ever had. No pain or discomfort and really smooth. So here's hoping!
I came home and immediately fell asleep on the sofa 😂 the next 5 days need to hurry!

Oh it's such a whirlwind isn't it! Sorry you're so uncomfortable but agree that it's easy to spiral either way with this. I had awful cramps with my daughter at this stage!

@OverTired26 thats great news, I’m glad it went to smoothly, fingers crossed that embryo makes itself nice and cosy over the next few days! You planning to test 5/6dpt?

Im just trying not to read into anything, but it’s hard to ignore when I’ve had cramps pretty much all day long! I’m going to test on Sunday so not too long to wait for me

@jenk91- I'm imagining it all happy and snug in there! Yes, I'll test from day 4 no doubt, because I have no chill and that's when I got my positive with my daughter. 😂

It's so hard not to read into literally everything! Not long to go now, you've absolutely got this!

Ive decided to test tomorrow, i think 8dpt is probably a pretty definitive answer. I was woken again last night by some awful cramps but this morning i feel totally fine, so i am thinking it’s probably not a good sign for me. At least tomorrow i will know!

@jenk91- Thank you, I hope you do too! I'm trying to take it one hurdle at a time. It's definitely tough though!

8DPT seems entirely reasonable, well done you for waiting this long! I have everything crossed it's positive news for you.

Hope it's ok to join in. I feel like there's a sense of understanding in these groups! Had my Baseline scan yesterday all is well just waiting to start meds now. This will be our third cycle so far, our first resulted in our DS and was fully medicated, in May we transferred again fully medicated but unfortunately didn't work. This time were doing modified natural cycle for the first time and hoping for the best 🤞 best of luck to everyone! X

I'm on a medicated again this time, all of my FETs have been medicated. So far one success with my daughter, one missed miscarriage and one failed. So I'm desperately awaiting test day!
