Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

How’d everyone doing?
im going crazy! I feel like I have no symptoms at all so decided im out! Just want to know for definite though, and times moving so slowly! Never wished a weekend away so quickly! Did a test this morning that was negative so trying to hold for a few days now, but no doubt I’ll test tomorrow!
how’s everyone else doing that are in their 2WW?

Hi @Peonies94- how did your decluttering go? I’m starting to find the TWW tough. I’m 10dpt now, but my clinic want me to test on 14dpt (Thursday morning). I’ve just had a chat on the sofa with my boyfriend and decided to stick it out until official test day, I am on a lot of medication and I think I’d find it hard to keep doing the medication until OTD if negative. Feels a bit frustrating though as many clinics give an earlier test day.

How are you doing? Hope you’re feeling okay after the result, sounds like there could still be hope as it’s early after your transfer but completely get that it’s nerve wracking and how much an early positive would give reassurance. ❤️

I’ve had loads of cramping which has made me feel down that my period might be trying to come but blocked by the medication. It shows that we’ll always be able to find something to worry about.

@Gosia19 it was successful! Lots ready to go to charity! Yeah 14 days is really frustrating! My original test date is 10DPT but they also request a blood test, so not sure how long those results take to come back and whether they’ll want me to continue to take meds after testing but before I get blood test back? I’ll find that really frustrating if negative when I’ll already know!
I am an early tester, but think I should have waited until at least 6dpt! 😂
annoyingly I’ll need to send my prescription off the start of this weeek, but I think I’ll just post it off regardless of results and then make the payment towards end of the week if positive to get the meds delivered on Monday, otherwise I’ll run out! I’m not going to be able to get new meds in time, if I wait until test date 🤦‍♀️!

@Peonies94 I also feel no symptoms, but am not sure what to make of that as my progesterone injections (on top of my progesterone pessaries that I was taking anyway)should be giving me pregnancy-style hormones regardless. I read that in an FET, implantation starts days 1–2 post transfer (probably closer to day 1 for you as it was already hatching) and finishes by day 5, and that HCG doesn’t start being produced until days 5–6, after implantation is complete. So I’m still trying to have hope and tell myself that it’s still a little too soon to start symptom spotting as I’m only 4 days post-transfer.

Yes I agree! Not really felt anything from the progesterone at all! Was imagining od feel some sort of symptoms!

I tested this morning- negative. I’ve read it’s 75% accurate at 5dpt with a FRER which is what I used! Will continue meds etc and test again but think my instinct was right!

Sorry to hear the negatives though, I know it feels like forever to wait for another cycle in between but sometimes I think its good to completely switch off from all the stress and just enjoy time away from tests and planning dates. A mini holiday for your head 😊

I'd a lovely weekend ahead of my transfer this Tuesday trying to do the same but a little worried it meant a late night and had a smidge of alcohol. Tried a nap and early night to catch up but still tired 🤦‍♀️ Will try an extra early bath and bed tonight and have accupunture in the morning before transfer. Anyone else trying it?

@StillBelieving2 wishing you all the best for your transfer tomorrow! I had acupuncture before and after mine. I’ve never had it before but I realised I could get it refunded by a work health plan I’m on so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve found it relaxing, and been treated by v knowledgable and friendly acupuncturists, so it’s been good for my general IVF anxiety if nothing else!

@MintOwl thank you! Such a hard journey, the two week wait is torture waiting to know for definite! everything I’ve read people mostly know from now, so assuming I’m out and slowly coming to terms with it!

Thanks @MintOwl and @Peonies94 ! I had accupuncture for my last (fresh) transfer and we were lucky with a little boy from that round so trying to copy every we did last time! 🤞

@StillBelieving2 hope it’s just as lucky for you as last time! 🤞 I’ve never done acupuncture before but may give it a try next time around!

Hey ladies how are you all keeping? I managed to hold out testing until about an hour ago… what a time to test.. I am 6dp5dt and used the 10miu strips. I swear I thought it would be stark white but I saw a shadow on the first and then did 2 more and I can see shadows on them too. Now I am afraid they are all duds. I have no other tests, Christ the shock.. I threw them in the bin. Can’t see on a normal photo but can see when photo on inverted. I am afraid to test again. Ugh I hate this process.

11dpt today and still not tested… feels so weird that I’m still in the dark when most people know already! Planning to hold out until my OTD on Thursday… 😬

@Gosia19 We are also holding out too until Monday. I’d much rather do it on a weekend to have time to come to terms if it’s negative, but I’m at a hen party (that I’m organising) this Sat/Sun, so that wouldn’t work anyway! (Or it would be a real bummer of a party.) I wish I didn’t have to go into the clinic for a blood test on Mon 😕.

Meanwhile I'm climbing the walls. Had my progesterone test on Sunday and called the clinic twice yesterday evening for the results and was promised I'd be told yesterday. No call so rang again this morning and a receptionist has told me its fine but a nurse would definitely call about our embryo surviving the thaw before our transfer.
I need to set off in the next hour for the appt and still not heard!! So much for staying relaxed 😭😭

@Gosia19 Luckily I don't need one as it's my sister's hen and she knows what's going on, plus she doesn't drink anyway for health reasons, so it's not going to be a super boozy one anyway!

I tested negative again this morning so it’s become quite clear I’m negative! Annoyingly also have to go into the clinic Saturday for them to tell me and pay for yet another blood test!
does anyone know how long the blood tests usually take to come back?

Yes finally had my transfer and all went well, OTD is 6th October which feels forever away!
I was meant to be flying to Belfast on the 4th for one day/night to celebrate my favourite Aunties 70th with an afternoon tea/observing others drinking but I think I'll pull out 🙈

Sorry to hear @Peonies94 if your bloods are like the progesterone which I'd guess they should, it should be the following day x
