Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

@Peonies94 Glad it went well despite being tricky!

Mine is all done too and all went smoothly, though the doctor was a bit stern with the staff! The embryologist was super friendly though.

My progesterone test was fine and within guidelines but the doctor said it was only just, so she wants me to take Lubion injections to top it up. Husband has just gone to the pharmacy to submit the prescription but it’s 2 working days for delivery. Has anyone else had this issue? He called round all the big ASDAs in a 10-mile radius, and they essentially said it’s something that has to be ordered and they don’t keep in stock, so I’m guessing this is normal?

@zirafica I peed an hour before and my bladder wasn’t full enough 🙈. They hadn’t given me a time-frame but said to wait to drink until They checked three times until it had filled enough. I drank 2 litres of water before it had filled enough 😅.

Peonies94 · 17/09/2025 16:19

@FluentTealGuide oh my embryologist was so friendly and chatty too! So lovely!

I think there’s no clear timeframe for the bladder filling and just is sometimes the right fullness and other times not!

we need more prontogest but I have enough for now, and ours is a few days wait too , so think that’s normal! Frustrating for you though 😔

SarahAndQuack · 17/09/2025 16:21

@Ephesus1010, I just wanted to say, I absolutely relate to that feeling of guilt, and it's horrible. (I have it in spades because my adored DD isn't my biological daughter, and so many people imagine that I want 'one of my own' in a way I find really upsetting.) You mustn't let yourself feel that way though. I always think it is because we love our babies so much, that we want more - surely?

ForPearlBird · 17/09/2025 17:13

@Peonies94 @FluentTealGuide Glad both transfers went well today. Now to join the agonising 2WW! I've been making plans so as to try and stay distracted..although nearly impossible.

My bladder was really full too. I know they need it full apparently so that the uterus is on a tilt instead of being flat..although I'm just reiterating what I was told so no expert!

I think hatching is a good sign @Peonies94 and where they would "hope" them to be.

@StillBelieving2 these appointments always seem to fall at the most inconvenient times don't they.

How is everyone else doing?

Peonies94 · 17/09/2025 17:21

@ForPearlBird it’s so hard to not overthink everything isn’t it? When is your test date?
im back in work tomorrow and then got a busy weekend planned, so hopefully plenty of distraction!

Yeah they want it full but apparently too full positions the bladder in the way and obstructs view is how they explained to me! Said there’s a sweet spot of not empty but not really needing the loo!

that’s good news that hatching seems to be a good thing!

Peonies94 · 17/09/2025 17:22

@ForPearlBird when was your transfer again sorry?
struggling to keep up with where everyone is with it all!

Kr0 · 17/09/2025 19:18

well done on your transfers @Peonies94 @FluentTealGuide wishing you all the best.

this TWW is no joke this time round. I think we are going to cave on Friday although that’s only 9dpt

jenk91 · 17/09/2025 19:40

I’m majorly struggling with this tww @Kr0 it’s a killer! How you feeling?

Peonies94 · 17/09/2025 19:52

@Kr0 thank you!!

i think you’ve done really well lasting to 9DPO!

im already ordering tests and planning to start testing Monday every other day!

Think for me it’ll help break the news gently if it’s going to be negative!

Peonies94 · 17/09/2025 19:53

My clinic has given my official test date as 10 days after transfer, that seems early but they want to do a blood test and the day after is a Sunday, so maybe that’s why!
they’ve told me to test in the morning before my blood test!

Yeh I think the first time it seemed to go quickly. But this has been awful. We’ve changed so much this time round so I really have hope that it will have worked and I’ve had some cramping which I didn’t have last time. I’m dreaming of pregnancy tests, genuinely just losing it a bit. And also dreading test day.
you?

Peonies94 · 17/09/2025 20:23

@kro in sorry the wait has been so tough! 😔 how many days post transfer are you?
honestly I can’t believe mine was only today! Feels like forever ago! I’m hsving some cramps but know they mean nothing but can’t stop focusing on them!

Well I’m truly keeping everything crossed for you 💫
Same, I want it to hurry up so I at least have an answer but equally I can’t bear to see a negative test.
Ive been getting a little cramping last day or two but not much, quite a bit of lower back ache but that’s it really!

Transfer was on the 10th. OTD is Monday but we are also going to test tomorrow (Friday). I'll be 9 days then. I've delayed ordering tests because if I had them in, I definitely would have caved by now.

ForPearlBird · 18/09/2025 07:00

Fingers crossed for you @Kr0 @jenk91 if you both test this weekend too!

Peonies94 · 18/09/2025 10:16

Ohh lots testing the weekend then! Nervous and excited for you all! 😬 @ForPearlBird @jenk91 @Kr0 egerythihg crossed for you all 🤞🤞🤞✨✨

Gosia19 · 18/09/2025 10:24

Morning everyone - I hope everyone is doing well. I am seven days post-transfer, my clinic have asked me to test 14 days after which seems the longest! My boyfriend is keen to wait until the official test day - he’s a by-the-book type person and thinks we’ll probably worry about the uncertainty of whatever result we get if it’s before when we’ve been told to test. He’s done less of the obsessive googling/mumsnet than I have so he’s not as aware that often results are pretty detectable before 14 days. But he is probably right with the worrying based our personality types lol.

I’ve found the TWW ok so far, we’ve had this week off which has helped. But started feeling really tired all the time with very vivid dreams (some cramping too). I am still taking loads of medication so I know it’s hard to read into symptoms. Today I feel quite weird mentally, like the enormity of how our lives will change if we have a (very very much wanted) baby. But I also can’t really let myself think too much about it in case the test is negative next week.

Ephesus1010 · 18/09/2025 14:33

Thank you for your kind words @StillBelieving2 and @SarahAndQuack they make me feel seen at a time where I feel quite alone in my feelings. I am sorry you are going through this too. It is tough in a way I don't feel I'll get over just yet because I'm not sure how to 🙈 over the summer I felt so happy and complete but I realise that is because I was seeing it as this amazing summer making the most of my daughter with the idea that this time next year we would have two. It's hard not to look to the future and feel loss. I know this feeling will pass but I hope that happens soon. I think we will try naturally for a few months but even that makes me nervous for more heartbreak but can't really do much about that. Sending lots of love xxxx

Hope everyone else in the TWW is doing ok - it's all such a mind fuck but for those of you who are successful it is all so so worth it xxxxxxx

FluentTealGuide · 18/09/2025 15:59

@Gosia19 I have one of those partners too! My clinic said to test Sunday 28th but I'm away that weekend. I tried to convince him to test Friday morning before I'm away but he wants to wait until the Monday. I get it, as he wanted to ensure there's absolutely no doubt when we test (we've tested early before and it never goes well). We have a blood test booked that day too, so if it's negative its going to be a disappointing journey to the clinic! On the flip side, if it's positive I'll be beaming.

Peonies94 · 18/09/2025 19:10

@FluentTealGuide @Gosia19 also have a husband exactly like this 😂 he is convincing me to hold off! He did agree to 3 days early as if I get any sort of positive I’ll neeed to send prescription off as my progesterone injections run out 2 days after test date so won’t be enough time to sort! Test date is the Saturday so hopefully if I can get prescription sent if needed by the Wednesday, then they’ll have time to process it and get more injections to me by the Tuesday!
at the moment I’m taking it each day as it comes but we’ll see!
I felt a lot of twinges last night, but haven’t felt much since first thing this morning so now I’m worried we’ve not been successful! 😔

ForPearlBird · 18/09/2025 19:17

I Google about 20 times a day, every little thought, feeling, anything...Google. My Partner however hasn't researched one thing about the process, he just relies on me to inform him. I think that's why us ladies might be the more confident ones to early test...my Partner goes by the book too 😂 I like your thought process @Peonies94 to test early to be prepared for if you need more injections, makes sense.
I haven't been given pegesterone in the injection version. I have the vaginal gel version. Has anyone else got/had this? Not sure the different tbh.

Peonies94 · 18/09/2025 20:15

@ForPearlBird yeah mines exactly the same! I google everything!!
I think there’s lots of versions of the progesterone you can be on! There’s stomach or bum injections then tablets and gels and capsules! I am on just injections now but they’ve said about me dropping to some of each if successful when I start weaning off!

Gosia19 · 18/09/2025 20:38

Sounds like we all have a type. 😂 @Peonies94@FluentTealGuide

@ForPearlBirdI’m on both! I don’t know why, my clinic seem a bit gung-ho on medication. I do crinone gels twice a day and lubion injections twice a day.

FluentTealGuide · 18/09/2025 20:42

@ForPearlBird I didn’t realise there was a vaginal gel version too. I am on pessaries (as well as the injection top-ups when they arrive), but they solid and waxy. How does the vaginal gel even work? I thought the pessaries were messy enough 😂.

I think there are a lot of different forms actually now I think about it because it’s all HRT, which comes in all manner of options.

Peonies94 · 18/09/2025 21:11

The progesterone gel gets put in with an applicator! I imagine it’s still really messy though 😂!
